there's something to be said about light ageism + ableism and the interaction between those and people getting mad that young people call themselves old but I'm way too brainfoggy 2 say it properly

#like. first of all I am literally a person who was described at 15 to have the hips and shoulders of a 50-60 year old person #a young person saying they're old could have a million meanings #is it a problem when young ppl are like I'm So Old Life Ends At 30? yea but y'all don't know everyone's context #when I say I'm old I mean I'm old in ways society expects old people to act/look/feel #I'm not saying my life ends at thirty or I've lived a long life when I call myself old. I call myself old because I'm worn down #I'm old because I'm literally double my life expectancy (self imposed as it was)#I'm old. im young. I am both. these are not the conflicting problems you think they are
