6. Agnes Nitt

…This damn door sticks.

As much as it would be fun to draw Agnes groaning literally at a door, I haven't drawn anything serious in so long. The lindy hop wasn't serious, it was a pun and should be treated as such: with narrowed eyes.

The hair is a tad repetitive, isn't it. I could've sworn there were elements of it in both Sybil and Margolotta earlier, but I was aiming for something faintly art-nouveau, like a cross between a Gibson Girl and a flapper. Can we have flapper Agnes? Can we have flappers on the disc? In Jazz-Morpork?

This was drawn partly because I wanted to do Agnes in a vocalizing Disney Princess pose, partly because she deserves nice clothes, plus-size. I based this off a flapper's nightie I found somewhere in a cartoon, with a billowing daisy on the shoulder, lace under the bust, something gauzy draping off the back and just one bangle. Wouldn't do to spoil myself. The skirt is also probably so short that Granny Weatherwax would bark at her for showing her garters, the scandal, but then again, flapper Agnes.

That said, I made a horrible mistake at her neck. Had to black it out and it totally ruined the shape. There wasn't supposed to be that much of an angle between face and neck. I really need practice drawing fat body types. I'm going to try again and again, until I can nail the proper shape of a double chin.
