What bothers me about that anon telling me "I desperately need you..." is that it came off as trying to belittle my intelligence. Like, if you don't agree with me, just say that!

Often times, even if they don't mean to, people will sound so condescending and it can affect the person receiving it.

Someone forgets a detail in a story, "you know that this actually happen, right"?

Why do you sound like it's illegal to forget something? Especially, if the story has so many other things going on with it? Not everyone has good memory or trying to remember everything!

Might as well be one of those "name all the characters of this anime" guys from the store whenever they see someone will an anime bag or jacket on.

Don't agree with a popular take or headcanon, don't share the same view as everyone else because you're not trying to fit into this cramped up space of folks who try to follow what everyone else does and you're brave enough to be based.

They act like it's sooooo wrong. Like, you must agree with everyone else! You must feel whatever everyone else feels because you have to!

They want to scream "it's just my opinion" but the moment you have an opinion that doesn't align with theirs, it's wrong. No, they can have an opinion and be right about it, even though I thought opinions were emotional based and don't need to be right, facts are though. They can have an opinion, but you can't because you don't know what you're talking about!

I swear some of you just make being in a fandom unenjoyable.
