This is no secret but I absolutely love Geraldus! He's very similar to Khalid in the sense that, despite how afraid he can get, he will always persevere. AND SHAME ON JAHEIRA FOR NOT SEEING THAT. She was gonna kick him out the Harpers as if she didn't have a Husband that was the exact same way. (This is not negative talk on Jaheira I promise, I love her sm)

Also his excitement from becoming a full blown Harper in the epilogue is cute, I love how he invites the pc to join watch the ceremony :')

It's a shame he only has that one interaction in the Harper safe house because he's such a cool and interesting character. He doesn't care how dangerous being a Harper is, he knows this job will likely get him killed one day and he's scared (rightfully so), but he's determined to fight anyway.

On that note though, I do think he probably isn't usually that afraid all the time, the situation we meet him in definitely affect our perception of him. He'd just witnessed his friends (and in my hc his harper sponser but that's not canon so we can ignore that--) get killed and replaced by doppelgangers, and told that if he doesn't do as he's told he would be next. For someone who is new to the Harper life, THAT IS TERRIFYING. And I don't think Jaheira gives him enough slack, he did everything he possibly could to warn us of the ambush and, if its successful, you end up surprising them instead. He also joins you in the fight! This man is brave as hell!
