Is Circe immortal? I know she is Helios daughter but what is she?
Also was helios a good dad to his daughters I know he had like 12
Circe is a Goddess of Sorcery/Magic. Some specify her specifically as a Goddess Nymph but that is still a Goddess. She is immortal, yes.
There isn't much written about Helios with his children to my memory, but Circe did invoke him in some of her sorcery. He did also bestow many gifts onto Aeetes, one of his sons, and gifted Medea, one of his daughters, her winged serpent drawn chariot. Both are considered amongst his favorites.

Discord Prompt Day 5: Ancients
Here, have a snippet of my Ancient story, of when my two troublemakers first met, and unknowingly changed the course of the star's fate:
A strange, unruly behavior…
And what did that have to do with him, Helios wondered, as he trudged down the streets away from the Convocation. He wasn't the one who'd created the concepts; bollocks, he wasn't even involved in the process whatsoever. Yet Azem just had to insist he be present for the sudden meeting.
As an aviary expert, she'd claimed. Sure, his tried and true familiar was bird-like, but that didn't mean-
"Oh!"
The man was very suddenly pulled from his thoughts as he rounded a corner, colliding face-first with an unknown, masked woman, the papers in her hands scattering at the abrupt contact.
"By the star, I'm so sorry!" How stupid had he been, to get so lost in thought that he didn't even look where he was going? It was the least he could do to help her retrieve her documents, as he chased the papers down the busy streets of Amaurot. Yet as he grabbed paper after paper, he slowed, casting a quick glance at their contents. It was none of his business, he knew, yet he couldn't help himself when one page in particular caught his eye - a hastily-scratched doodle of an existing concept, a… chicken, if he wasn't mistaken, with several notes inscribed along the edges. Another, with a different creature drawn upon, one he didn't recognize, surrounded by scratched-out notes and ramblings.
"Thank you so much."
He glanced up to see the woman standing before him, clutching the remnants of her documents to her chest as she held out a hand, expectantly waiting for the rest. Yet he found his curiosity got the better of him, as he ignored her outstretched hand to continue reading whatever it was she'd found important enough to record.
"These are… quite fascinating," he murmured, flipping to yet another page with a concept scribbled about. "Do you work for the Bureau?"
"Who, me?" She rapidly shook her head. "Oh, no, these are just… Sometimes I enjoy daydreaming is all."
He cast the woman a curious glance, finally handing her back her papers - she wasn't anyone he recognized, with her long, dark brown hair and fair skin behind her plain mask - not that he knew everyone, of course, but some days, he sure felt as though he did.
"Well…" she cast him a small grin. "I apologize for keeping you so."
"You're apologizing, when I'm the one who ran into you?" He laughed, pushing a strand of his long purple hair out of his face.
"No, no, I assure you, the fault is mine, I was in such a hurry, I didn't even look-"
"And neither did I," he insisted, offering her a reassuring smile. "My name is Helios. May I ask yours?"
"Helios… It's nice to meet you, I'm… I'm late!"
Late?
Yet the woman didn't give him the chance to ask, as she turned and hurried off down the street, a single paper flying from her stack as she did. Bemusedly, Helios reached down and retrieved it, finding it to be yet another bird-like concept. Would that he had learned her name, that he could return it…

Hi POPCORN 🥰, I'm a big fan of yours and Daemyra, first of all I want to say thank you so much for making amazing fanfic about Daemyra, I really LOVE it 🤗
may i share something? about OTP Daemon and Rhaenyra?
We know that Daemyra is the most controversial and hottest couple in fire&blood, Although we know that Rhaenyra was originally inspired by Empress Maude, the mother of King Henry ii of England, but I think Rhaenyra and Daemon were also inspired by the most controversial and hottest couple in Greek mythology, Aphrodite and Ares.
Aphrodite (goddess of beauty, love, sexual desire, fertility) all Rhaenyra 😂😂
Ares (god of war, sexy) I think that's enough to describe Daemon 😌.
Both of them have an affair with someone else (RhaenyraxHarwin) (DaemonxMysaria,Laena,Netles?) Also happened with Aphrodite and Ares, but when they are together 🔥🔥
Their first scandal when caught by Ser Arryk is similar to the first scandal of Aphrodite and Ares when it was caught by Helios which caused "the Hephaestus Net" scandal 😂 Even after the scandal, their relationship continued, and they had many children 😂.
Rhaenyra's fate was similar to Aphrodite's regarding her first marriage, mens fighting for Rhaenyra's attention reminded me of the moment Aphrodite arrived at Olympus and caused chaos because the gods were obsessed with her, This causes Zeus/Hera (Viserys) wed Aphrodite (Rhaenyra) to Hephaestus (Leonor) arranged marriage stuff, Hephaestus and Leonor also have no biological children from Aphrodite and Rhaenyra, even though they are husband and wife, in contrast to other Rhaenyra and Aphrodite affair.
Adonis aphrodite's favorite was killed by Ares in the form of a boar, and Daemon behind Harwin's mysterious death? 🤔
Is this just a coincidence or George was inspired by Mars and Venus? what do you think popcorn? ️
Hi there Anon!🤗
While I have some doubts that George took inspiration from Ares and Aphrodite while writing Daemon and Rhaenyra I absolutely think they do have some very interesting similarities! Even if they weren’t intended, they absolutely are there and I absolutely LOVED what you wrote!!!!!!! Thank you so so much for sharing it with me 😍😍😍😍

Besides Ares and Aphrodite, however, I would claim they have a little something of Hades and Persephone as well, and not only because they were uncle and niece 😏 but because in a way Daemon did pull Rhaenyra into the “dark” side deciding that he wanted her, and she pretty much just tagged in for the ride 😂 You have the seduction of Persephone and the seduction of Rhaenyra. Sorry Hades, Daemon wins, he got her a tiara 😂
Not to mention that (and please forgive me because I am by no means an expert on Greek Mythology) in some versions of the myth, Persephone does love her new found power as Queen of the Underworld. She (just like Rhaenyra) doesn’t change Hades (in the latter case Daemon), but instead rules by his side which is something I really like about them. You can tell I am tired of the good girl changes the bad guy trope 😂 let them both be as they are!!!
And this fact, that Rhaenyra and Daemon have a lot of Aphrodite/Persephone and Ares/Hades in them, is, amongst others things, what makes me a firm believer that their signs were definitely ♉️♏️ 😎 it is known.
Thank you again Anon!!!! I loved your analyses!!!!!! And thank you so much for your words about my fics ❤❤️❤️❤️❤️

Of course Jack tries to rebel. But Hugo's an expert in scumbags and betrayal. he's able to figure out who would help Jack and squashes the rebellion before anything bad can be done. He takes the PDA of Jack and attaches a timed bomb to it. "Seems like a fitting end. You can rot out there with the rest of the unnecessary junk. Sorry I can't do more, but I have a company to run. I'm a busy man. Goodbye... John." He airlocks Jack and the AI's last view of Helios is Hugo waving a farewell.
