you know, originally, I was going to use the Terraformer to purify this world (trying for the And Good Riddance! achievement), but I went through the trouble of getting this DCU, so why not just destroy the parts of this world that are corrupt/hallow and aren't too close to housing, with the Terraformer as a fine-toothed comb?

I've got the pylon network and by god I'm going to use it #so that part of the world can be completely destroyed #same for the part behind the dungeon. I'm never going there when there's a beach on the other side of the world with a pylon set up #the hallow will be harder to get rid of. it's got very little on the surface because of how it generated #and a good chunk of that surface space is used for housing because almost all of my housing is hollow side for some reason #which also happens to be close (but not close enough for crowding) to my jungle housing #it's a shame to force the wizard and party girl to live in the forest but that's unfortunately the outcome every time #but because of the proximity I can't use the DCU there #so the terraformer will have to do #I probably want to keep some pearlstone to create an artificial underground hallow between spawn and the snow biome #so that I can farm for the rod of discord #but I'll do that before I finish removing the hallow completely
