terrible evening and three more reasons why I hate cars

on my home, some emergency light starts flashing on the dashboard. I'm not pulling over on a South African highway after dark, so I push on until I get to a petrol station, though the car is noticeably not driving as smoothly

apparently my coolant réservoir is empty and the engine was overheating ? the petrol station people re-fill it (with green liquid, although the car manual (which I'd been flipping through in the meantime) says it should be purple ?). anyway it seems to help and I drive off. 5 minutes later, the coolant light starts flashing again. but the car is accelerating normally again so I'm assuming it'll be fine

I get home the neighbourhood's power is out, so I'm already mad that I won't be able to make a cup of tea when I get it. then I reversed into a pillar while trying to park. oopsie
