as the resident Childe-authority (in my mind), which animal do you think would represent his essence best? none of my answers seem to fit him. maybe he's a platypus because they're equally weird and impossible to pin down
Eleven cats, at least one of them orange.
It would be a mistake to think he could ever be one single animal.

How I'll Play
Summary: Steve's grandmother sends him an investment and big collection of gifts for his 21st. Small thing is, She thinks he's her Granddaughter.
Authors Notes: Playing with the idea I had yesterday over Steve liking Sylvanian Families and only playing D&D with them, Thanks to @frostfairysteve for the information on when they came out. (also for the fact I know those 2 D&D races XD)
Continued in Come Play With Us
/\/\
Steve family are all rich and all distant. He remembered once as a child a family reunion being arranged and being scared of all the strangers there. Apparently his father had 3 brothers all older and all with their own families, but also his grandparents had invited second cousins and cousins once removed and for whatever reason everyone had made time for it.
Looking back at the event now, Steve was pretty sure the main reason everyone turned up was that they were hopeful this could be a chance to increase the inheritance they could get from his grandparents. He doubted that would have been effective for anyone and is relatively sure that except for occasional cards on holidays and birthdays still considered most of his relatives as strangers.
It did encourage him not to have too much fun when taking himself to a city for a weekend away, simply because he didn't want to accidentally seduce a relative into a one night stand without knowing it. The joys of things that teach safe sex for the strangest reasons.
He didn't usually think about his family beyond that. They were just people who shared in his gene pool, just like the parents he barely saw any more.
Except his Grandmother seemed to challenge that when his twenty-first birthday came bringing a delivery with a note from her.
'Dear Steven,
I cannot recall why your mother decided on such a name for such a charming girl as you were at the family reunion so many years ago, but for all my grandchildren I've brought investments in a company as well as a large collection of the things they make as they turn 21.
For you, and your fascination with figurines and dolls that I remember, I chose to invest in Sylvanian Families. They're almost as adorable as you were when young.
A very happy birthday to you and remember to manage your investments wisely.
Your Grandmother,
Antoinette Harrington
He had to read the note 3 times before bursting into laughter. He knew his family was distant, but apparently they're distant enough to have changed his gender in their memories, although he does recall for a short time enjoying dolls before his father dictated otherwise and forbid him from them.
It had only been recently, and only around Robin, that he'd began allowing himself to be curious over typically feminine things beyond his hair since that time, but it was flattering to think that somehow he'd acted feminine enough the only time he'd met his grandparents that he was remembered as such.
“Steve? You remember we said we'd go shopping together for birthday looks for tonight, right?” Robin asked, letting herself in since he was laughing enough he hadn't heard her knocks. Steve had tried to insist he could pick her up, but according to her, he shouldn't be driving everyone around on his birthday, so she got Eddie to agree to play chauffeur for the day.
“Read this and tell me I'm not imagining things, Robbie. Please tell me I didn't misread that. Also I need to see just what is in these packages before I go anywhere.” Steve grinned over at her, waving at Eddie as he leant around the door.
Eddie came over too, leaning over Robin's shoulder as she read since Steve hurried into the kitchen for scissors to open the parcels.
There were 4 big parcels but as he got the boxes open only 2 of them had big items in them, what appeared to be dolls houses and furniture. The rest were filled with solid dolls, slightly velveted of every kind of animal he could think of, all in families, or separate babies that matched one of the family groups and dressed in adorable slightly old fashioned looking outfits.
“You're her granddaughter now. I'm sorry Stevie, but for a gift this big and the investment that was also in the envelope behind this is big, you have to be female from now on.” Robin teased, snickering herself and sitting on the floor beside him to see everything he was pulling out.
Steve shrugged a little. “You tell me what dress size I should get and I'll be the belle of the ball for the party Joyce is insisting on throwing.”
“How long ago was this reunion? Any you're happy about that?” Eddie asked, visibly stunned, but not annoyed or any reaction that left Steve concerned.
“Thrilled. Robbie and I have been trying make-up looks and I was already wondering if I should try a skirt tonight. This seems like a sign that I definitely should.” Steve grinned up, answering the second question first. “And I honestly don't know. I think I was maybe five, possibly younger. Definitely wasn't allowed dolls for too long before my father banned them.”
Eddie shook his head, coming to sit beside him too finally, “Cool, I'll kill the boys characters in the next session if anyone says anything about that. If you do get a dress, that is.”
Steve's grin gentled to a smile, before a thought struck him at the allusion to D&D. He'd seen their figurines before, had let them host Hellfire at his home a few times now, enough even Eddie's bandmates were beginning to relax and suddenly thought he wouldn't might playing in a similar way with these cute guys. “Hey, you can get animals walking and talking in D&D, right?”
For a moment Robin and Eddie blinked at him, then Robin started cackling. “I bet even if they don't Eddie is about to figure out how to, Stevie! Hell, I'm joining in too.”
Eddie blinked at her too before slowly nodding, “Normally called other things, like Procyons and Avalis but yes, there are bipedal intelligent animals in D&D.”
“Tell the party to start making characters like that to play and help me and Bobbin to do so if you want me to play a campaign. I'll only play if these are the figurines used for everyone.” Steve decided, “And look, you even have sets for places we can go to make the mapping even more exciting.” He gestured to the buildings, and some shop sets that he'd pulled out of the packages but hadn't opened unlike a few of the families that had caught his eye.
“Fucking Hell, Yes! I can do that! Can I stay here to plan the campaign too, check what I've got to work with?” Eddie's smile grew slowly but was soon almost wider than they'd seen it before.
Steve nodded, “Definitely. And this just means we're all more excited for getting back from the shopping trip I was promised. I'll go get ready to head out.”
As he walked away Robin started to calm down but one look at the pout Eddie had over being told he couldn't jump straight into planning set her off laughing uncontrollably all over again.

Be Your Best for Her - Arthur Shelby Imagine [Peaky Blinders]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title: Be Your Best for Her
Characters: Arthur Shelby, Child!Reader [about 21]
Based On: Wilderness
Word Count: 1,306 words
Warning(s): presence of a gun, attempt at violence
Summary: [season 3, episode 1] Arthur faces the reality of (Y/n) growing up... and he despises it.
Author's Note: Listen. Listen. I don't want anyone questioning me here. I needed something that would work when I did the math for the ages and using some faceless character didn't sit right with me.
Also, just a reminder that this story is written for a gender-neutral reader, even though the title says "her" in it.
Part One of "July" [Release Date: 7/24/2023]
Part Two of "July" [Release Date: 7/26/2023]
YEARBOOK - SLEEPING AT LAST WRITING CHALLENGE MASTERLIST
---------------------
(Y/n) didn't expect to spend their evening at Tommy and Grace's wedding looking around for Michael. But here they were.
The two of them had grown close rather quickly.
Beyond just being the same age, they both had similar histories. Despite never growing up with the Peaky Blinders, they both had been quickly drawn into the life. They both had to adjust. Learn. Change.
For (Y/n), it felt like that change took ages. Years of struggling to feel like they were able to fit into place properly. They looked at Michael and thought about how simple it seemed to be for him.
Maybe it was in his blood.
(Y/n) found him in some room, tucked away from the rest of the party. He was leaning back as he sat in a chair. There was a fire going and a drink in his hand.
"Well, don't you seem happy," (Y/n) said as they walked in. They sat in the seat opposite him. "Not ecstatic for the happy couple?"
A small grin pulled at Michael's lips. "Needed a moment to breathe. What about you?"
"Looking for you," they replied.
"Am I that important," he asked.
"It is a bit difficult to handle the tension," (Y/n) chuckled.
"I see... I'm a comfort, am I?"
"Sometimes," they shrugged. He chuckled and shook his head. "You act like you aren't flattered."
"I didn't say that. It's quite the opposite."
"Well, I'm glad to contribute to your ego."
Michael chuckled again, taking a moment to look away. "Want a drink?"
"No," (Y/n) held up their hand as they refused. "I decided to not drink tonight. Need at least some people to be sober enough to stop some of the trouble tonight."
"Is that right?"
"I can't say the Shelbys or the rest of the Peaky Blinders are known for being incredibly responsible when excessive alcohol is involved."
"Are you including me in that group?"
"Should I not be?"
"Not quite a Shelby, am I?"
"Consider yourself a Shelby or not, you are a Peaky Blinder," (Y/n) shrugged. "Fallen into that role quite naturally."
Michael furrowed his eyebrows before setting his drink on the end table. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees and his chin on his folded hands. "What do you mean?"
"Take a look at yourself, Michael."
He scoffed. "You say that like it's a bad thing."
"Didn't say that."
"It's a good thing then?"
It was (Y/n)'s turn to scoff. They pushed themself off the chair, going to stand closer to the fireplace. Michael scanned his eyes along them.
"You didn't answer my question," he said after a moment. He stood up, going to join them near the fireplace.
(Y/n) turned to him, seeming shocked to find him so close. "I... I think it suits you well."
"Does it?" a smirk pulled at Michael's lips.
"Yes," they nodded, noting how he shifted closer again.
Little did the pair know that while they were sharing this moment together, Arthur was looking around the remaining wedding party. He had expected to see (Y/n) in the corner somewhere or with some of the other Shelbys. But there was no sight of them.
He found John off to the side of the room, watching the rest of the crowd.
"John, where's (Y/n)," he asked as he walked over.
"Don't know," John shrugged. "They mentioned something about looking for Michael."
Arther wasn't a blind man. As part of his work to get better, he started paying more attention to (Y/N). Their passions, their life, and anything else that they would let him know. So, when it came to Michael and (Y/n), he may not have known everything about the pair's connection, but he had his suspicions.
"Come with me," Arthur instructed simply.
"Why?"
"Because I might need help cleaning up a body."
John scoffed before pushing himself away from the wall before following Arthur out of the room.
The pair walked quickly through the halls. Arthur's jaw kept clenching. John had thought the comment about cleaning up a body was a joke, but now he was considering going to get Tommy... or an army.
They opened every door that they found. Each empty or wrong room was met with a grumble but no response. Another reason that John felt as if he should have turned around to either get help, avoid being a witness, or avoid being in the crossfire.
And then, Arthur opened the right door.
He found Michael and (Y/n) all too close for his comfort.
"What the fuck are you doing?!"
The sudden yelling made (Y/n) jumped backward immediately. "Arthur, what the hell?"
He ignored (Y/n) completely. "What the fuck are you doing?"
(Y/n) had managed to move back enough to allow Arthur to get in Michael's face.
"He wasn't doing anything," (Y/n) spoke up.
(Y/n) saw Arthur's hand moving to reach under the hem of his jacket.
"Arthur, don't-"
He had pulled a gun out before (Y/n) could completely get the warning out. He aimed it at Michael.
"Arthur!" (Y/n) looked at John, who did not step forward at all. "John!"
"Why do you think that I have a death wish," he asked.
"Someone tell me what was going on now," Arthur shouted.
"We were talking! Having a conversation! You barged in and aimed a fucking gun at him," (Y/n) said.
"Is that right?" Arthur was still only staring at Michael.
"Arthur, stop," (Y/n) shoved his hand down and moved to stand in the way of them. "It doesn't matter what was or wasn't happening. What matters is that you found out the two of us were in a room together and decided to storm in with a fucking gun!"
He paused for a moment.
"How little do you trust me to stand up for myself," (Y/n) asked. "Tell me."
"I- I didn't say that-"
"You felt a need to fucking shoot Michael over it!"
It seemed like that was the first time that Arthur's anger seemed to fade enough for him to truly take into account what he was doing. He had done so much to help (Y/n) survive and protect themself and he was still doing this. He had promised no fighting that day... and he was standing there with a gun.
At what point did his goals shift so far?
He had wanted to help (Y/n) become strong and smart enough to live. But after he got home, his priorities had shifted. He had become committed to making up for whatever he had done wrong. He was trying to protect them. Help them.
He didn't realize he had gone far enough for (Y/n) to believe that he didn't trust them.
Arthur looked back and forth between (Y/n) and Michael. His shoulders rose and fell with his deep breath.
He stepped toward Michael again.
"Arthur-"
He held up a hand at (Y/n). "Don't do something fucking stupid. They can take care of themself, but that doesn't mean that I won't be second in line. Got it?"
Michael simply nodded. This was not the appropriate time or place to test Arthur's limits. He could tell that much.
Arthur stepped back and looked at them both again before turning around and leaving. John looked at the pair for a second before nodding and following Arthur out.
A heavy sigh escaped (Y/n). They looked at Michael. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be," Michael replied. "I get why he did that."
And he did. Arthur would never admit that he was right had Michael ever asked him, but he was right.
Arthur wanted (Y/n) to know that his care could show in more than violence and largely misguided protectiveness. It could come out in confidence and trust.
However, his confidence didn't change that he pleaded for the world to just be a little bit gentle with the most important thing in his world.

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love 💖
Hi Nonny! I can't believe someone actually thought of me with this self rec thing, considering that I only published one fic this year! Consider me flattered!
When I read this ask, my first thought was... but I haven't even written five fics! Checking AO3 corrected me about this - I've written 8 fics in total! Which basically tells you a very important fact about me: I forget about my own fics all the time! Whenever I receive one of these AO3 "You've got kudos!" emails, I squint at it and have to take a moment to remember what it was about. That's me - my babies are out in the world now and I simply no longer care about them. Thank the gods that I don't have real life children, just in case I might treat them the same...
Rambling aside, after checking AO3 to see what I actually have written, I created the below top 5.
5. The Road Not Taken (The Witcher)
Considering that I hated this fic during literally every second it took to write it, I'm a little surprised that it even turns up in my top 5. That's probably because it's a little different from what I usually write: it has no happy ending and is full of a beautiful melancholy and sadness that I haven't managed to achieve again so far.
4. The Sun and the North Star (OFMD)
I actually had to re-read this story when I looked over my works because I had zero idea what I had written. I usually remember at least the rough plot but there was zero, zilch, nada for this fic. After re-reading, I have to say I don't love the fic for my skill here but for the potential that was there. This fic could've been much more, could've had several chapters - it jumps too quickly and doesn't explain enough. But I still love the idea that's behind it - the fact that Izzy has been kind of the victim of the trainwreck that is Ed's and Stede's relationship in season 1. He's trying to be the only true pirate of the whole crew and he's suffering for it.
3. Dark Metinna (The Witcher)
I love this fic for all the effort that went into it. It is, by far, my longest published fic and the most popular.
2. Samhain (The Witcher)
This is the first and only cooperative fic I've done and I haven't had so much fun writing anything before or after. Writing and developing these little halloween ficlets with @frances-the-red was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. It contains crack, thoughtful moments, bad puns and France's take of the Witchers as the Addams Family and Geralt as a zombie. I recommend that you go read it!
A Servant's Duty (The Witcher)
This little fic is my most beloved. Not only because it was a gift for my dear @frances-the-red or because I wrote it in under 48 hours, but also because it is the only fic I can re-read without cringing. It's the only fic that I would write again exactly the same as I did then. I love to expand on the relationship between Emhyr and Mererid - a precious balance between servant and lord, child and mentor, protector and charge. I still love the thought of Mererid using his privileges and abilities to protect his lord and be protected in return.
Honorary mention:
I'll take a moment to give honorary mention to a fic that lies in my draft folders, almost finished at 70.000 words that deals with the difficult relationship between Emhyr and Ciri. I love this fic for all the effort I put into it so far and my detailed depiction of Nilfgaard, but I lack the momentum to finish it - mostly because I'm busy with real life and have no urge to write these days, but also because I've left the Witcher fandom behind some time ago. Maybe I'll finished it one day. Maybe I won't.

I just wanted you to know that I just read all of the Little Pirates series this weekend and I am so, so, so in love with your Jones children. They feel like real honest to god kids with actual personalities rather than carbon copies of their parents. Beth is a riot and I'm trash for her and Killian's relationship. I have a few questions for you though. 1. How did you come up with the characters of Harrison, Wes, Beth and Neddy? They're amazing but they don't feel like Sues. (1/?)
I feel like that’s always a challenge in fanfiction writing with original characters. 2. Are you ever going to write a multi-chapter story for the kids or just continue just writing snippets of their lives as you are now? Because I would honest read the heck out of anything story you write for them. No pressure! 3. How many Little Pirates one-shots do you plan on writing and are you willing to write anything for Captain Swan that isn’t a part of the series? (2/3) Regardless of your answer, I will always read whatever you write. 4. You reblog a lot of Captain Swan stuff, which I appreciate, but are you going to watch Season Seven and do you think Season Seven will affect the Little Pirates series especially if it’s revealed that Killian and Emma have a child in the canon? You’ve kinda been quiet on that. (3/3)
As I have not updated all weekend since I was in my cousin’s wedding, I wasn’t expecting anything in my inbox this morning. I was pleasantly surprised and a bit overwhelmed when I checked into my tumblr this morning while I was having my coffee. I’m a wee bit hungover from yesterday.
I’m glad you like Little Pirates. I personally love writing the Killian-Beth dynamic as well since a lot of it is based upon my relationship with my own father. So, I love writing them. I love writing them all really, hence why I do it in the first place.
I honestly feel like I’m being interviewed with the amount of questions you have, which I’m both flattered and overwhelmed by. I will try to answer them as best as I can. I apologize for the really long-winded answers, which is why I’m putting a “read more” here because it’s just a bloody essay.
1. It’s kinda hard to describe my character development/creation, but I’m generally struck with ideas of personalities while I’m doing something and I work from there. Beth came to me first. I just thought of someone who was super cheeky, super blunt and incredibly impulsive. Wes came to me originally as a rebel without a cause kind of guy who loves music more than people (this is still true) and Harrison was always just this haggard older sibling who feels the need to protect and keep the younger ones out of trouble, which ages him like a few good years. Neddy was late to the game. He was originally this quiet imp, but over time, he’s become much more thoughtful and sweet, but very secretive because he never wants to upset anyone. He’s aware he’s babied and wishes they would just stop.
My key to making them not Sue-ish, I guess, is the fact I don’t view them as anyone I would want to be. I make them fuck up. A lot. They’re people I understand, but I don’t want to be them or really hang out with them. I gave a lot of them my own faults.
Both Beth and Wes are inherently selfish and impulsive people who have absolutely no respect for authority or anyone really. They’ve not really sensitive to the feelings of others at all. They think it’s more important to spit the truth than consider how someone would feel about it. So you have three serious character faults right there. On top of that, neither of them are really in touch or want to talk about their own feelings. They would rather hide behind sarcasm and wit, then have a serious conversation about emotions.
Beth and Wes are also manipulative, though Beth more so than Wes. She’s so in habit of manipulating people that sometimes she doesn’t recognize when she does it, which will be explored later on. She’s manipulative, a skilled liar (something she shares with Ned) and on top of that, she’s very spiteful. She does a lot of things out of spite and anger without thinking about the long term. She has an entire serious relationship when she’s older out of spite due to the man she loves telling her that he doesn’t want to be with her. It’s a very shitty thing on her part. She took someone’s emotions for a ride because she wanted to make someone jealous. It’s not cool, but people do that. She’s human and flawed.
Wes is entire another bag of issues. I’m not sure if it’s been translating well, but he’s like a borderline sociopath at times. Wes is very charismatic, people are drawn to him, but he’s not really drawn to people. He could survive without people rather easily. He would miss certain people, but he could do without. He likes company, but doesn’t crave or need it. He’s very much lone wolf out of the four. He also has zero respect for authority and boundaries and has no issues breaking them for himself or the people he cares about which is a very short li- it’s basically just his siblings, Gideon and Bobbi. I haven’t talked about magic much, but Wes is obsessed with magic and sees his magic as an extension of himself. He would struggle picking between magic and people, which I personally am horrified by. He’s a bit Rumple-like when it comes to magic since he’s something he’s naturally good at. A lot of this stems from his competitive nature and jealousy. If you haven’t noticed, which you might have not because I haven’t necessarily pointed it out but I have tried to write it as a background issue, but there’s a lot of tension between Harrison and Wes. They snip a lot, because Wes is extremely jealous of Harrison and the perceived favoritism towards Harrison. He sees Harrison as the “golden son” and as someone to compete with. Harrison has no talent whatsoever in magic while Wes does, it’s something where he is just better than his brother at.
Harrison and Ned are more on the introverted side. They’ve both more reserved and quiet. Harrison is more quiet out of social anxiety. A lot of that stems from expectations put on him when he was very young, not necessarily by his parents but by the community. His looks, which are very similar to Killian’s, have made really made a lot of people expect him to be like his father. They see him as a min-Killian, he’s just not. Harrison knows he’s not capable of that, which is natural since he’s his own person. He doesn’t feel he has his own autonomy and it really stresses him out. He doesn’t want to be either of his parents, he just wants to be himself but that’s not what people want so he’s just internally a mess. He has a very negative self-image and zero confidence - it doesn’t help that Wes constantly derides him. He also has anxiety because he feels the need to protect his siblings who are more outgoing and wild than he is. Killian subconsciously has conditioned Harrison to constantly feel the need to protect them like Liam protected Killian. So, more often than not, Harrison is put into very uncomfortable situations in order to help out the other three who constantly blunder into horrible situations because they have zero impulse control and are more extroverted than he is. He gets like gray hairs in his twenties from the stress of them. On top of that, Harrison is a bit on the righteous side - very David-like. His moral code is a bit black and white, which kinda leads him disapproving of a lot of the shenanigans that go on around him. There’s a reason, he’s on medication for anxiety. Some of it is family, but a lot of it is self-imposed.
Ned…this child. He’s new and I’m still working on him, but he’s very much babied and constantly shielded by everyone and he’s aware of it. He’s annoyed by it, which has led to him being very sneaky, secretive, cunning and a very gifted liar. He loves his family, but often views them as obstacles to his own fun and experiences so he lies A LOT to keep them for catching on, disapproving or freaking out about what he’s doing. Like he’s really young in the series so far, but when he’s older, like every other thing he says to his family is a lie. Like he’s very into baseball, which causes some strain with Killian because of his disability and Ned just hides the fact he’s playing baseball up until like high school. Just would say he’s over a friends’ house whenever he had a game. He fixes his report cards so his parents don’t stop him from having fun. That sort of nonsense. It just leads to so many issues. On top of that, he really resents the age differences between him and his siblings and basically tries to grow up too fast at times. Like he gets a tattoo at sixteen to match the one that the older three have. He makes so many horrible mistakes in high school in regards to partying, girls, drinking and sports that he’s kinda “been there, done that” by college and really is just the responsible one out of his baseball team and is more focused on baseball, his grades and writing than having fun. Which of course leads to him being kinda estranged from his team who hasn’t gotten to his level yet. He’s like a geek-jock in college with like only three friends.
Long story short: FLAWS. FLAWS ARE FUCKING IMPORTANT. Flaws make the characters, which is why sometimes hard to relate to characters like Superman. Sues are boring. Perfection is dull.
2. Am I ever going to write multiple chapters on the Little Pirates? Maybe, but not likely. I have a ton of story arcs that I could write multi-chapters on but I don’t think I have a big enough audience to really write those. I mean older!Jones children have really colorful lives - Beth ends up a fucking realm jumping pirate in her own right, Harrison has an adventure in Agrabah and overcomes a lot of his anxiety before he replaces Emma as the Sheriff of Storybrooke, Wes has a lot of adventures involving magic with Gideon and Bobbi and Ned finds his own fairytale adventures while in college. I love these stories and I could write them, but they feature very little of the original cast which I don’t think a lot of people are interested in them. However, I am planning a Henry centric Labyrinth crossover fic which does have infant!Harrison (babe with the power) in it, which could count as a part of Little Pirates, but will mainly be stand-alone.
3. I think I’ve said this before, but I have no idea how many one-shots I’m going to write for Little Pirates. I have no end number in mind. Though I do know I have at least ten ideas in the works that are a mix of requests, original ideas and semi-requests. I just made a queue bar so people can see where their requests/prompts are in my lineup. As for non-Little Pirate related material, I’ve thought about it. I’ve really wanted to write a Top AU-Captain Swan/Captain Charming fic where Killian is Maverick, Emma is Charlie, Liam is Goose and David is Iceman. I’ve been doing research for it and I’ve found that like 60% of Top Gun is like actually impossible so I’m trying to make a more realistic plot line and it’s just been nutty research-wise. I’ve also been thinking about doing a Henry centric summer league t-ball story that’s about Henry figuring his life out post-college with a romance plot line with Ava Zimmer, but that could be considered a part of LP because it would feature Wes and Harrison. I’m like incapable of writing anything but domestic Captain Swan it seems. I suck and like my own characters too much. So, needless to say I’m trying, but failing fucking miserably. Too many ideas, not enough time to research and write them.
4. I’m little confused on this last question. I haven’t said anything about OUAT season seven…at all. I haven’t been quiet at all. The reality is that I haven’t said a word. There’s a reason for that. While I plan on watching season seven because I adore Colin O’Donoghue and Hook…I’m just not excited. I love Captain Swan and I really don’t trust A+E to do this season right without Jennifer Morrison. I’m just not really invested in it, but I am curious what they’re going to do. After reading all the D23 stuff over this weekend despite being at my cousin’s wedding, I’m like 60% convinced there is a canon Captain Swan spawn, which could be interesting but I’m not like over the moon about it. I could live with or without it. I’m kinda “meh.”
I’m not sure how or why OUAT season seven would effect Little Pirates in any shape or form. I think I’ve made it clear that it’s a canon divergence post-season six. Everything that happened between seasons one to six is canon, but season seven has absolutely no baring on my universe at all. It would be insane to try and incorporate season seven stuff into my universe which is like 85% fully formed. I intend to view season seven as an alternate reality to mine. Like in comic terms, the season seven is Earth-1 and Little Pirates is like Earth-16. LOL.
Unless you’re asking if I’m going to stop writing Little Pirates because season seven would make it not-canon, which, the answer to that is no way in hell am I going to stop writing just because my universe isn’t canon. Captain Swan is one of the very few OTPs that I have that IS canon. Canon disagreements don’t bother me. I’m happy to live in my own little universe while the canon goes in an entirely different direction. So, I’m not bothered. I assume I will get less readers because of season seven, but whatever. Eh.
Apologies for the novel length response, but you did ask a lot of questions. I hope I answered them to your satisfaction.
