Hear me out the mom dies like thinking that she sacrificing is sacrificing herself to save the reader but the reader was willingly going the father and they're both like "why the fuck is she so dramatic this isn't about you Rebecca" or something where she has access and ends up taking over her fathers throne and the grandfather eventually decides to let the mom and bat family see her and the reader is a badass reader maybe like a sane azula from avatar the last air bender oh or there's like a even bigger fight like "you used me as an excuse to stay there because you were afraid and I had to suffer for it you let me suffer for blank amount of years because you were afraid and silent like you want me to be and we only left because I said so because you got hurt even though I was constantly being hurt" the reader says (i envisioned like todoroki and azula training) (No hate to Azula or anyone with the name Rebecca)

This is just my thoughts please feel no pressure it is in the end your story! I just love your series despite never playing or watching? Mortal Kombat

Now I don't want to spoil to much but I do plan the reader and her father reconnecting and reader having a very decent connection with her father so she's not really dependent on her mother. so that she's finally free from her mother.

The only downfall? The batfam and your mother turns platonic yandere for you. They finally see how badly they messed up. And 0fc reader also feels a little bad for leaving people she cares about behind like jason and here grandfather.

So yeah that's just what I'm gonna give for rn. But thanks for the questions!

It's funny you say that because one time I told my students Luke Skywalker was Baby Yoda's teacher, and one looked at me blankly and said, "No, you are." Also I tell the kids when Baby Yoda visits it's because his dad dropped him off at my house, so a couple classes of preschoolers do genuinely believe me and Din are friends. He's been called on the toy phone to come visit a few times and I have to tell them he's busy in space, but I'll ask. XD

I suppose I could've phrased it more clearly since I pictured him acquiring things that had already been stolen or abandoned. After all, Din may have a good heart but he works in the underworld. I don't see Din having a lot of scruples about buying Jedi stuff off the black market or scrounging through the ruins of a temple for texts and artifacts. Sure, I think he'd try to do it fairly if he had the opportunity, and seek out Luke or another Jedi first, but ultimately I feel like he wouldn't have qualms about acquiring stolen stuff (or potentially looting an location himself, if he had the opportunity) because it's for Grogu. It's not like he's stealing them to sell, he's trying to do it for his Jedi son and it's being used to teach a Jedi.

Of canon Jedi we know about rn, I actually lean towards Ezra. Ezra would definitely be able to guide Grogu through the process of having a father figure and balancing that with Jedi duties because of Kanan, and I feel like they would really dig the living Force together. (Ezra helping Grogu learn balance of nature and how to respectfully hunt frogs, for example.) Totes voted for myself though but that's because I would like to teach the baby.

@0rb0t ITS EXPLANATION TIME HEHEHEH unsure how familiar you are with genshin's lore so im just going off the basis that you're unfamiliar with 'common knowledge' lore. I hope I explain it all ok! pls feel free to ask questions!! <33 for image credit just click on it! essentially, fischl is a girl (roughly 14-19 based on her character model (genshin does this really funny thing with chara ages where nothing is confirmed and you gotta guess based on the models themselves)) who is constantly stuck in her daydreams and genuinely believes that she's a fictional character due to her upbringing. Her actual name is Amy, however she choses to go by the name Fischl as its the name of the protagonist (a german princess ruling over a kingdom of crows) of a book series called Flowers for Princess Fischl. At some point before the game's events, Fischl gets gifted a vision (a trinket that gives her powers) by the Goddess of Electro (the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun). With the recieving of this, a main character from the book called Oz, a dark purple and black coloured raven who helps Fischl in the books and is Amy/Fischl's imaginary friend, comes to life. During an event sometime 2(?) years ago I believe, Fischl got a new in-game outfit reflecting that of the book character's outfit. Me, being an obessed fischl main, grinded and got the outfit as fast as humanly possible HEHEHE the outfit is called Ein Immernachtstraum (but I refer to it as her princess dress for simplicity sake!)

Fischl's personality is quite regal of sorts, and very similar to Ciel's at times. She does her best to speak politely and because of it, ends up confusing a lot of people and having Oz need to 'translate' for her (example here! (link)). This happens so often in fact, that the few times that Fischl has 'broken character', it's been a massive bonding moment to show that she fully trusts the people she's with or been an emotionally charged moment, positive or negative. However, despite all the german references with her talents, signature weapon, skills, etc, Fischl isn't actually german herself. Quite a lot of her (and by extension, Oz)'s pronounciations are incorrect according to many german speakers who have spoken about the issue, furthering the idea that she's just playing a part and isn't actually a regal princess to some massive fortune. (note: a lot of people treat her like a child. because thats essentially just what she is, but there are few characters (such as Bennett) who refer to her by her royal title 24/7 and fully respect her as nobility.) Now, why do I compare her to Ciel? Ciel is a child in an adult's world. I'm in the process of rewatching all the animated stuff and after that I'm gonna waltz my way through the manga so pls forgive me if I'm a little but rusty here!! The motif of Ciel getting kidnapped somewhat frequently is something that's always struck me as I see it as something to show that despite how refined Ciel tries his best to be, he's still just a kid at the adult's table. As much as he tries to have control, he has next to none and so the kidnappings are a way to demonstrate how powerless he truly is. As who does he fall back on every time? Sebastian. Now, that aside, looking at everyone's favourite earl from surface level, he's the queen's guarddog, watching over the underworld whilst working with Sebastian to gain revenge against those who killed his parents. That's why the contract was signed in the first place (if i recall correctly. its almost 3am while im typing this im too tired to fact check rn LMAO); To make Sebastian Ciel's right hand man in exchange for Ciel's soul once the deed was done. I won't focus too much of Wriothesley as I don't have him in game and I haven't actually gone thru the mainline storyquests so I know jack shit about him other than the fact that he's basically pluto with a different colour scheme and a fancy job

and Neuvilette, in simple terms, is a water-based dragon in human form who rules over the justice system of the hydro nation, Fontaine. He's also highly associated with otters!

Neuvi is a fierce protector of those he cares for, and from memory, Wrio is the exact same. As these two get shipped together a lot, mainly due to their ingame interactions (and the fact their jobs actually align quite well from memory? think a cop marrying a judge. that sort of thing), I feel that they've make a daddy dream team hehe Now, back to sebaciel vs fischl x neuvi (x wrio as well if you wanna spice things up hehe i only added him really cause for the Japanese audio, Wrio shares the same VA as Sebastian!!!!!) I cant exactly remember where I was heading with this but in short, I think Fischl and Ciel are quite similar and the same goes for Sebastian and Neuvilette. That and Neuvi and Fischl are next to eachother in my team and the way my team works, its always Fischl placing Oz on the field and Neuvi coming in afterwards to blast the field with water to create Electro + Hydro damage and my own personal headcanon being that I believe Neuvi would treat Fischl with the highest respect and just like a princess. If Fischl and Ciel were to swap places I dont think much would change??? Like sure Oz is very similar to Sebastian, horrifyingly so, but I believe Neuvi would be a better fit. TLDR; ciel and fischl are a perfect match and so are neuvi and sebastian and i think neuvi x fischl as a ship is gonna be my next big brainrot alongside my current sebaciel brainrot!

late night thought i just realised while playing genshin. fischl x neuvi is just the genshin version of sebaciel. or even fischl x wriothesley. fischl x wriothesley x neuvilette if you will.

If you could either be in the DC universe or the Percy Jackson universe, which would you chose and why? If Percy Jackson, who is your godly parent? Or if DC, what are your powers and who is your mentor?

I'd personally chose Percy Jackson because hyper fixations galore! I'm also a child of Hermes, so, YES!

I chose PJO because at the end of the day, it would be so cool to live in a world where gods and myths were real. Of course, ignoring all the child murder and general angst

I’m taking a women and gender studies class rn in college and currently the unit is talking about the Sumerian and Egyptian goddesses Inanna and Isis (currently writing a comparative essay on them). I cannot express how amazed I am looking at the different ways people try to explain how the world works and celebrating life and death,, It’s just super cool!!

(Side note: I don’t know if anyone’s read The Wicked + The Divine but I can’t stop thinking about that when I hear about Inanna, that comic series has ruined my life)

Anyway, as for godly parent, it’s probably Hades, not just because I like myths about the Underworld (though that’s a big part of it) but also because from the official website quiz, I am in Cabin 13☺️

(Also Hazel and Nico has siblings, who wouldn’t want that??)

What's your favorite fanfiction you are currently writing?

Mine is Quest Parenthood: Challenge Accepted or Fall From Grace. Both are PJO AUs I am hoping to post over on Wattpad and AO3 soon. Do you want a dedication?

Right now, I think it’d be my Shadowhunters fic “The Moon” which I actually getting a chapter tomorrow for the first time in a month :’)

I watched the show over my senior spring break and I think it came at a perfect time because I was having anxieties about leaving high school and moving onto college so the show has become very special to me (currently reading the book series now) so I really like going back through the episodes (after I binged it in three days😭) and writing them out with some OCs :)

Anyway, enough of me rambling on. Yes! I’d love a dedication ^^

You're incredibly smart and have an immense knowledge of literature and I've always wanted to explore more poetry but I've never been sure where to start cuz the ppl mainstream (U.S) society deems as "classic" poets are usually like, old racist guys who definitely hated their wives and *sonic voice* that's NO good.

my fave poem of all time the one i had on my wall and read every day for like a year is a litany for survival by audre lorde. i've read a lot of her poems and essays they're wonderful. my second fave is recreation and then afterimages.

i rec'd this recently it's a fave: the world keeps ending, and the world goes on by franny choi.

my fave june jordan piece poem for haruko.

these ones i keep open in safari tabs so it'll remind me to read it again: a map to the next world and conflict resolution for holy beings by joy harjo.

my fave ocean vuong poem essay on craft it knocks the breath out of me every time.

i love kim hyesoon tho i haven't read enough of her work and i recently found this poem translated by don mee choi: underworld (day forty-five) and it's incredible i need to find the rest of the poems in her series it aligns a lot with what i've been trying to write.

i've been meaning to buy a copy of postcolonial love poem by natalie diaz, i love this poem with a very long title tho it's from her other book.

hanif abdurraqib is one of my fave ppl on the internet as of last summer his poetry is incredible his articles on music are deeply moving here's his website. he also has 2 episodes on my fave podcast millennials are killing capitalism i highly recommend.

i can't think of any more off the top of my head rn but if you want more recs feel free to ask again! i'm always finding new poetry or rereading poetry and always forgetting which ones i liked before.
