Bored and still VERY emotional from the events that took place in Sinsmas, so here's a stolitz fanart. Had fun making it, hope you enjoy it.
MAY I ADD it was inspired by one of my favourite scenes in shameless, here's a low resolution screenshot for reference
Also, please ignore whatever's going on with the blanket, I only noticed it now and was too bored to fix it 馃榿

Thanks for the questions @darlingian and the tag @mybrainismelted
Choose a fandom: Shameless!
How did you first hear about it?: It was on Netflix. Maybe someone said I should check it out? I immediately became hooked and watched it through 7 times in a row. Do you own any merch?: No but I want. I have a couple of fics-turned-novels printed if that counts What thing involving this fandom do you think non fans would be surprised to hear?: How passionate the fandom is about Gallavich Favourite character?: Mickey Milkovich. In 5 words explain why they're your fave: Mouth, Eyes, He's soft and hard at the same time and loves so big (that's 5 right?)
Choose another fandom: Shameless again (copying Kat here cause same) What's your least favourite thing about the source material?: Oh god. A lot which is how I started reading fics. Everything the writers did to Mickey S6-10 (S7 eps excepted). Yevvy storyline. Mandy's not at the wedding? A lot of S11. Why they made all the characters a bit of a joke of themselves by the end (sweet Kev). Favourite ship: Gallavich. Best fanfic: My favourite is Old Rules for New Side Pieces but could never choose a best! Describe the vibe of the fandom in 5 words: Joy, Welcoming, Warm, Talented, Fun
What's your name backwards?: Ssej Tell me how old you are the way a three year old might: Old What is your favourite icecream?: Also don't love ice cream but probably something boring like strawberry. Or moose tracks. Tell me something you wish more people knew about you: I'm almost always sarcastic. I don't seem like I'd be as awkward as I am. Where is home for you?: Where my cat is If you could be an anthropomorphized stuffed animal, what stuffie would you want to be?: I... don't know how to answer this. The move you wish everyone would watch: Garden State (I didn't have a great answer here) What makes you really emotional lately?: Anything to do with my physical state Are you okay?: Pretending to be, but no.
Tagging @juliakayyy @such-a-barbarian @francesrose3 @deathclassic @transmickey @skylerwinchester @stocious @dynamic-power @redwiccanrobin @creepkinginc @callivich @whatthebodygraspsnot @samantitheos Annd anyone else who wants to play!

Tag Game
I was tagged by the fantastic and wonderful @asteria-argo ! Thank you for the tag my love! This was a really fun one!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
24
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 52,317
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I tend to fall into hyper fixations with things and write only about what I'm into at that moment so currently Ted Lasso, but I have written for several other things, Outer Banks, Derry Girls and the Umbrella Academy being the biggest ones
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
The more you know - Umbrella Academy
We'll talk about it tomorrow - Ted Lasso
With a Whisper of Hope - Umbrella Academy In The End - Umbrella Academy God the kid looks so sad - Ted Lasso
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to! Sometimes they get away from me if life gets busy and I forget (Sorry!) but I do really do try too even if its just a thank you
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Between Space - The Umbrella Academy It was based on a prompt of what if Five is the cause of the apocalypse and him basically erasing his existence to save everyone else
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmm I mean generally I try to wrap things up nice and neat with a big bow so they mostly have happy endings. Maybe we'll just say In the middle of the night because its a fluffy one shot where Jamie gets a cuddle and fun fact its also a fanfic of a fanfic kudos to @asteria-argo who's brilliant fic Counting Sheep inspired it
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really, I don't have a massive audience so my comments are usually very lovely
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I don't! Nothing again it just not something I can see myself writing, but hey never say never!
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
No I don鈥檛! I have to 100% agree with Asteria on this one crossovers annoy the shit out of me for some reason
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, and while I'm not actively against it I don't know how that would go I'm pretty set on my theories and plans etc etc 14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
I'm not really a massive shipper, found family is more my vibe
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I don't start things and leave them unfinished, it would really stress me out to do that lol its why I write a lot of one shots
16. What are your writing strengths?
You know what? I honestly don't know
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
CONCENTRATING! Oh my gosh! If I could actually fucking concentrate guys I would be churning out novel length fics like you wouldn't believe! I'm writing in my head all day long but the second I sit down to physically write I cannot focus for the life of me
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I am a native English speaker and its my only language as much as I would love to learn another one, so except for maybe one or two words to keep a character IN character for which I would use google, then I'd steer clear.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Probably Teen wolf? Lol
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
ooooh is it shameless self promo to say the one I'm currently writing is probably my favourite? Its unpublished as of yet but its for Ted Lasso and its called We're all waving flags and yeah I'm finding the writing process for it very fun and cathartic
I'm always terrible and knowing who has and hasn't been tagged so my bad if you have already been but I'll tag the lovely @sighonaraa

Hello anon! My name is RJ, I experience chronic IBS, (and I'm a middle school dropout)
I'd like to talk to you, civilly, about some of the preconceived notions that you've brought to this ask.
I'd like to first state that while I agree with you that knee jerk calling people stupid is often a poor way to go. however!
1.) white americans often use our poor education system as an excuse to stay undereducated and handwave not knowing what the imperialistic core has done to the rest of the world, how bigotry affects others, how to participate in activism etc. There are plenty of educational resources that are locked behind paywalls, but there are also people working hard to make sure educational resources are out there for free, such as librarians, podcast hosts, youtube essayists, article writers
2.) I understand that it sometimes feel bad to hear, but there are circumstances where people who grew up in poverty, felons, addicts, the disabled, gay people, sex workers, will notice other shameless fans who come from a relative place of privilege parroting bigoted vitriol in the tags, and people who are marginalized in these ways subjected to that are under no obligation to react kindly, nor are they under the obligation to gently spoonfeed compassion and critical thinking to others. I understand getting called on accidentally parroting bigotry feels bad, but the solution is not to get immediately defensive and tell people venting their experiences to let people enjoy things. This only excuses and enforces rude behavior (ps I implore you to question, when you're using fandom as an escape and a space for consequence free fun, who are often excluded from this fun as a consequence of being expected to ignore, say, hearing "addicts are evil" statements as an addict.
3.) it is extremely odd to me, that you would see posts complaining about bigotry in fandom and poor media comprehension directly affected by said unconscious biases, and extrapolate from there that op(s) came from a place of privilege
4.) mandy4ever already pointed this out, but it is extremely hypocritical to include "stfu and get your head out of your ass" in your message. if you'd like some advice yourself on the subject, people often don't take kindly to "do as I say not as I do" type criticism. just a heads up!
Now then, onto the meat of the post. You are on anonymous, so I can't know if you are speaking hypothetically about other users, or if this is a phenomenon you've observed among your friends, or even if you're cheekily referring to yourself in this message. I can only speak as someone who knows their own gastrointestinal issues.
I have IBS, as I have said. It may not occur to the layman the ways in which this could be debilitating, I will give you a few examples. these are, in no way, a complete summary of what I deal with because of this illness. 1.) I often experience extremely painful gas, stomach cramps, and poop that hurts when it comes out 2.) sometimes I spend a good deal of my day on the toilet or unable to leave the house because I'm experiencing upset and don't know when I will be able to safely leave toilet range 3.) hemmoroids! nuff said. 4.) there are many foods that I love, that sometimes I must turn down and watch my friends eat because It's a decent chance it will cause upset 5.) i have indeed shit myself in public. it fucking sucks!
perhaps by now you are grasping the ways in which it is actually pretty humiliating to deal with, and why someone might not be too receptive of jokes thereupon. now, addressing your hypothetical, if it is people who are projecting to feel better about their disability, 1.) I have often found in my personal experience that if you bring up gastrointestinal issues briefly for a joke, you may get a laugh, but more often than not if you bring it up to actually talk about your experiences, you are shut down with disgust. it is already embarrassing and scary to deal with before taking this into account, but it certainly does not help. people often view ibs as simply a silly poo disorder, and speak about it as though it *should* be de facto embarrassing and stigmatized. It is extremely rare, in my experience, to come across someone who is willing to view these disorders with compassion. and i find it troubling to use a diagnosis as a joke. even if it is people with gastroissues, unless it is clear from the post, I am under no obligation to assume the benefit of the doubt if the post in question facilitates my shame and reinforces stigma.
If you'd like to discuss this further, you can feel free to message me, as someone who personally does experience chronic gastrointestinal upset. I'd be happy to answer your questions!(within reason, of course) otherwise, I do hope you take a little more time to consider your words before sending an ask like this in the future. Have a nice day!
listen ur always on point about your statements but have u considered is just not always that serious? so what if people have hc of the milkoviches with gastrointestinal problems maybe its not cause its "haha funny" and they arent taking is as a dysfunctionality and a serious matter but maybe and hear me out just maybe theyre making their hc based on their own experiences so they can relate or project on their beloved characters just stfu and get out of your own ass it doesnt have to be this serious let people enjoy things
also while were at it ur always sooo right about your opinion about everything but quit this habit of calling stupid people who dont think like you sometimes theyre really just not as educated on this matter and your comment enables the opportunity for them to reflect and grow and research more but if u keep calling them stupid everytime theyll just hate u and hate whatever is the point ur making is so contra productive quit it already
considered not answering this one but it does look like you're trying to be nice and only accidentally acting kind of dickish. anyway please consider what you're saying when you complain that someone sounds mean (?) for saying that an idea is stupid* and in the same message ask me to "get my head out of my ass and stfu"
sometimes it is that serious & if the only times you've seen gastrointestinal issues posted about has been in contexts where op is just relating then i congratulate you. i happen to know that this kind of joke can and will hurt peoples feelings. go bananas if you're just relating but also maybe the post isn't about you then
for example: this message i received literally just barely after making the post you're responding to (shared with permission)
i'm not going to accept "it's not that deep" as a response to concerns about racism misogyny or ableism though. it often is & people don't notice and allow themselves to continue being kind of jerks by just figuring it's not a big deal. also because i read posts like i'm michael hobbes and peter shamshiri on if the books could kill podcast
*i even agree with you on this one. i don't like defaulting to calling stuff dumb it's usually what comes out when i don't bother to specify/knee jerk negative reaction. if but also, counter productive for what? i don't post for anybody but me & i have no need for an audience or care if random tumblr users don't like me
