I finished the Norn9 anime last night.
The funny thing is that even without playing the original otome, I already know that it's much better than the adaption, but I still ended up enjoying it anyway. Loved the main cast and their interactions with one another, the animation style was GORGEOUS, and the soundtrack was lovely.
Also, Kakeru and Koharu. I wish only happiness for these two sweethearts.

These questions are related to both of your posts on NORN9
1. You stated in your first post that if you were to rewrite NORN9 you wish to “have the MC and love interests form a more believable romance.” Which pairings in the game made you think that the most?
2. Your questioning of the age gap romance. The age gaps between some of the adult love interests somewhat bother me (especially Ron due to him being the oldest and paired up with the youngest of the females) and I somewhat wish that in the routes with adults as partners were kept platonic.
3. This isn’t related to your posts but do you have a favorite and least favorite pair? As well as a favorite and least favorite character?
4. Side note: there’s actually a third game called NORN9 Act Tune which didn’t get localized and was released in late 2016.
My rewrite has Mikoto x Sakuya and Natsuhiko x Ron as couples. I also heavily changed Natsuhiko and Ron's characters and relationship since I didn't really care for them in the first game. I chose Mikoto and Sakuya because childhood friends to lovers makes my brain go brr.
The one's that bother me the most age-wise are Ron x Nanami Koharu x Masamune because it's illegal for 20 year olds to date teenagers. I'm also not a fan of Nanami x Heishi because even though Heishi is 19, Nanami is 16 and that feels wrong to me.
My favorite pair is maybe Koharu x Senri, but that comes with the caveat of Koharu constantly bothering Senri, even if she had good intentions. My least favorite pair is Nanami x Ron not only because of their age gap, but he also took advantage of her trauma. My favorite characters are all the heroines and my least favorite is Ron.
Considering Act Tune doesn't have a Nintendo Switch release at the time of typing this, I think there's a reason why it wasn't released in the US yet.

Do you having anything to say regarding the other pairs in NORN9? Like Kakeru x Koharu or Akito x Nanami?
Koharu's love interest: I already expressed that Koharu and Senri would've been cute if it weren't for Koharu constantly bothering him, even if she did ultimately want to help him. I'm not fond of Koharu x Kakeru because not only dies the game imply that Koharu is Kakeru's reincarnated mother, but Kakeru, while playfully, bullies her here and there since he's a sadist. Masamune should've been a platonic route.
Nanami's love interests: Ron should've either been a platonic route, or, if they were really committed on making him an antagonist, only a bad end. I like Heishi, but his route felt weird because he saw Nanami like a little sister until later, and I know that's a trope, but it's still...eh...I'm not to much of a fan of Nanami and Akito because their problem's could've been resolved if they just talked to each other. Nanami I can get because abuse victims tend to be prickly to not be hurt again (and she was going through suicidal ideation) but Akito...I can get his anger, but Nanami was also a child at the time she erased Senri's memories. Especially since he knew her at the time, as he grew up, she should've put two and two together and realized she was forced to do it by the village.
Mikoto's love interests: I like Mikoto and Sakuya in theory, but it takes them so long to talk about their feelings that it gets annoying after a while. I'm not a fan of Itsuki because while I can get him wanting to help Mikoto break out her shell and admit to needing help sometimes, he also did it out of ulterior motives because he's in love with her and was constantly flirting with her without her consent. I know people love Natsuhiko and Mikoto, but I don't care for it. Natsuhiko's route was just him keeping Mikoto captive until he suddenly got amnesia from being hit on the head and Mikoto didn't want him to get his memories back because he actually fell in love with her. When he did get his memories back, he's now suddenly a developed character...sorry Natsuhiko fans, I don't care for him, even though he was right about the stopping the reset from happening again.
