Now that I think of it, Maul was also commanded not to use the Force in his training with Deenine. His adult life as an assassin is similar: he is banned from force powers in Maul: Lockdown and is sworn to subtlety in other appearances.

It's like he has been training with one hand behind his back this whole time. I wonder how skilled Maul truly is-- could he take on a Jedi Master with a force collar on?
