#fight for my way#kdrama#I got a job offer this week (I accepted it but we still need to sort out contract stuff so I'm still calling it just an offer for now 😅)#for a job I really wanted and that would pay really well#(and is a permanent employed position this will be the first ever stable job I've had in my life)#it means I will be able to start looking into the private revision surgery I need#it means I don't have to worry about whether I have enough saved up to pay rent in advance next time it's due#(bc I don't have a guarantor bc I'm an immigrant so my family abroad doesn't qualify to be guarantors#so I need a stable job to be allowed to pay monthly rent)#it means I'll be able to go back to uni and get a useful degree at some point over the next few years#I'll be able to finally do my dual citizenship that costs several thousand quid to get (but will basically halve uni tuition -.-)#I'll be able to afford a mortgage someday#it means I don't have to worry abt money anymore like LONGTERM#money matters so much when you have hardship and disadvantage in life in this capitalist hellscape we live in#I'm rambling but to say I love this show it feels much more real than the usual 'here's some rich ppl who don't have real problems' shit#we love not only working class/non-rich protags but ones that do not refuse money when given it even out of charity#and that care abt making sure they'll have a stable income before they recklessly follow their dreams#edit: omg he has like a whole rest of the speech bless him very good yes buy your mom a house and your dad a car#yes you need money to fulfill those dreams hell yea
