tag game Wednesday Thursday!
thank you for tags and mentions @gallawitchxx @thepupperino @wehangout @blue-disco-lights @gardenerian @deedala @energievie and @jrooc !!! I love you all so much.
how did you get into the fandom? Girl, let's get in a Time Machine to 2013.
I had just had a massive injury that left me unable to walk or leave my bed for months. In this time, I was watching YouTube a lot. YouTube knows me well, so one night said "oh, this is gay, you will like it." The clip was the van kiss. Like, the first kiss. It piqued my interest and soon I'm in a YouTube wormhole. Season 3 had finished so there were some newer uploads. I loving the morning scenes with the Gallaghers too, and once I kind of pieced it all together I went on amazon and bought the first 3 season digitally. There I was, obsessed and bed bound. After a little googling I found Tumblr around Christmas, and lurked until season 4 started. Then I started poking my head out a bit and reblogged some stuff. But I wasn't really fully "in" until I started writing fics in 2014. Then I got more active and after writing a series called Four Eight, more people learned who I was (via a post by a super "popular" and now deactivated Tumblr account). Then I was in. sidenote: Eventually I did physical therapy around the time the club kiss aired (being there for that in real time?? Guys, I'm still screaming) and I'd watch that over and over as I iced my weak leg and took half a prescribed Percocet. The club kiss was better than the Percocet.
how long have you been here? So technically I guess I've had Tumblr 10 years. In December it will be 11. HOWEVER I was not active for several years in between like season 7ish until after the series ended, so I guess I should subtract. But that gets too be too much math.
what’s the first fandom channel you found? (Youtube, Reddit, Tumblr, Insta, Twitter, FB, other?) Youtube at first since that's how I found them. I was also really into watch fan video edits and watched them OBSESSIVELY.
what’s your favourite now? For fandom, Tumblr! Nothing quite like it. I'm glad to be back.
which mutual have you known the longest in the fandom? Oh my gosh. @captainjowl, @wehangout and @the-rat-wins are the ones who come to mind but I'm sorry if I'm overlooking some. So many people left!
which tumblerino’s did you have your first fandom crush(es) on and wanted to get to know? I remember really loving @captainjowl and being so glad when we got to be friends. Then because I almost have a Tumblr Season 2 life, I was really impressed by @heymacy and she just JUMPED off the screen. I wanted to be friends so I sent a message about chapell roan and now we talk ALL THE TIME. I've met so many newer to me people and I am so glad I know so many cool people.
first Gallavich fan fic you read (or that blew you away that you remember) I wish I remembered the first fic I read!! Sexual Harassment in the Workplace was posted around the time I started writing fic and of course that's amazing. I know works by anythingbutgrief were some of the first too. Beautiful.
first fan art that blew your mind? @steorie blows my mind every time. That's the first person I remember just losing it over. But there are so many incredible artists!!
fanfic trope that you were sure wasn’t for you but now you low key (or high key) love? a/b/o! But I mostly was like "what the fuck is this about?" And then got on board pretty fast.
What surprised you most about this fandom? the level of talent is absolutely wild.
moment in the show (or YT vids if you’re one of those) that you fell in hyperfixation with Gallavich? the first one was probably s3 "not everybody gets to blurt out how they fucking feel every minute!" because i was like, OHHH OH THIS IS GONNA HURT ME & then it just kept getting worse.... @gallawitchxx just said it best BUT! I have a tattoo that says "sorry I'm late" so I guess you could say I'm into that one too.
Ian or Mickey? Ian is my baby, my friend. my familiar. I adore them both and it's hard to choose, but I loved him right away and never quit.
Which Gallagher or Milkovich are you? I'm honestly a lot like Ian. But maybe if I swung Milkovich I'd be Sandy.

"Morning, Stevie!" you started calling him Stevie not even a week after you moved in. Sure, he hates it when Donna calls him that, but god did it sound so beautiful when you say it.
You two walk out at the same time everyday, bothered by some of the sellers on the street blocking the door "Excuse us." you say as they made way for you and Steven. A vintage pink corvette was your way of transportation while Steven chooses the bus, but you weren't in a rush today "Stevie! I'll give you a ride. Get in."
Steven blushed, shaking his head "No no, it's fine, love." hearing him call you love made you accidentally kick your leg up. You stared confused at your leg before turning your head towards Steven again "Come on." you pouted.
"I'm serious— oh, bollocks." he drops his keys by accident "I'm alright."
You drove by his side slowly "Stevieee get in. I'm not letting you take the bus when I have a car."
"It's just-"
"Is it because it's pink?"
"No! No, not at all. I don't want to be a bother, that's all." he sighed.
"Steven. Get in." you pull down your sunglasses "I'm not taking a no for an answer."
"Yes, ma'am." seeing you so serious had him flustered. Maybe it's a weird kink he developed after knowing you were a lawyer.
He sat in the passenger's seat and buckled his seatbelt. You smiled at him before fixing your sunglasses "Okay! First stop, the museum."
Steven knew everyone's going to stare at your pink car. He just never expected so many people turning their heads towards you too. You were beautiful and radiated beauty and sunshine, you were an attention grabber.
He just imagines you in all pink in your firm, in a room filled with blue and black suits. He thought it was cute.
"Do you have like, a license? You can take my car on my days off."
"You don't have to." Steven shook his head "Really, you're too kind."
"It's alright! Whatever makes your life easier." you flashed him one of your bright smiles "I can drop you off every day if you wanna. I'm not as busy anyways."
"Take the offer, Steven. Beats having to cramp in every day." Marc says from the reflection of the right side mirror. Steven shook his head before turning towards you "It's fine, love."
"Come on. Rent's hell. Let me save you some commute money, okay? I may be fashionable, but I can be such a cheapskate-" the car comes to a sudden halt as you snap your head towards a shop window. Steven was pushed forward but thankfully held by the seatbelt "What's wrong?" he breathed out.
"What time do you have to go to work?"
"Before ten. Why?"
"It's eight. Do you mind making a short stop with me?"
Shop assistants surrounded you as you worked your magic "Ooh, and this one. Do you have it in pink?" you giggled as you slipped on another heel "Okay so like, the trick is to ignore the assistants." you whisper to Steven "They'll sell you anything in full price. Head straight to the expensive ones before slowly going to the ones on sale."
Steven nodded as he listened to the advice you gave. He felt a bit nervous as you spoke to the shop assistants, you seemed so confident as well. In contrast, Steven felt fairly awkward and he was just observing how you interacted with the people around you.
He was very intrigued by the way you were trying on shoes, the way you were talking about it with the shop staff— he couldn't explain what exactly it was that he found attractive about you, and it was slightly annoying him.
"Chica está loca..." Steven looks at the full-length mirror, Jake was staring right back at him. He raises an eyebrow at Jake "She's crazy. I've never met a girl who wears so much... pink."
Steven was about to talk back when you pull him to the counter, swiping your card and taking your shopping bags "Okay, so like, I got fourty percent off. I have a loyalty voucher." you two made your way back to your car, stuffing your bags in the back "Thanks for coming with me, Stevie. Well, you didn't have a choice anyways."
"It's alright, really. It was... fun." he smiled at you, getting inside the car "Never really shopped with anyone before."
"Really? Not even with friends?"
"Don't have any."
"Aw, how come? You're so fun to be with."
Steven's heart skipped a beat. He stared at you with bright eyes as you drove. He felt his face heat up. When he turns his head to face the side mirror, he finds Marc judging him.
"You've just met her, huh?"
"Shut it..." Steven mumbled under his breath, looking away from the mirror. He watched you, still smiling as you drove. It was like you weren't real, like you were too good to be true. If he had known years ago a woman like you existed, he would've searched for you everywhere. But you landed right outside his flat.
"I don't think I can pick you up after your work, training interns and all." you stopped near the steps "I'll see you later, Stevie."
"You don't have to, it's really okay." he blushed "I'll see you around, love." he got out of your car, looking back at you as he walked up the steps. You pushed your sunglasses down and waved back before driving away.
After an exhausting day, you drove back at 1 am. You shoved your files in the back seat with your shopping bags and rested your face, your signature smile falling from fatigue.
The streets of London were quiet, only the crickets' mating call filling the cold air. You rub your eyes, some of your mascara rubbing off "So tired..." you sighed as you turned the car to the right.
Though your sleepiness immediately went away when you spot a ridiculous ugly-patterned shirt. It was Steven walking back.
"This late?" you whispered to yourself. You sped up a bit to catch up with him "Stevie!" your cheery voice halted the quiet night.
His head turned towards you, a scowl displayed on his face. Though his eyebrows softened upon realizing it was you.
"Don't they have buses out late? You poor thing. Get in." you smiled as you unlocked your car, allowing him to enter.
"I should've totally given you my number. If I only knew you'd be out late like me I would've picked you up." you let out a yawn before continuing "I'm not that busy, I swear. Like, I'm a lawyer but I know how to manage my time."
As you went on and on, Steven just sat there and listened to you.
You parked your car and stepped out, trying to get all your shopping bags in one go. But Steven stepped in and helped "Aw, Stevie, thanks so much!" Steven looked exhausted too.
You talked more in the elevator, detailing how frustrating your day was at your firm before walking to your doors.
"-and he was like no and I was like totes! And he was like noooo and I was like, definitely!" you giggled "Whoever said orange is the new pink is totally disturbed."
You unlocked your door and let Steven in to set your bags down. He went to step out afterwards when you pulled on his sleeve "Thanks so much again, Stevie. You are like, too good to me. We should totally shop again some other time! Goodnight!" you placed a kiss on his cheek before closing your door.
He froze in place, staring at your door before unlocking his own door and getting in. He breathed in the cold air before walking to his fish tank, feeding the two fishes before his vision focused, looking at his reflection on the glass.
"Marc! What was that?!"
Marc looked back at Steven "It's nothing."
"Back off. I really like her, okay? There. I said it."
"You kissed my wife and your crush kissed me on the cheek."
"I said I was sorry."
Jake spoke up, appearing from a small mirror "You like her? Dios mío, that woman wears a lot of pink. What is it about her? Is it because of the car? I have a limousine."
"No! She's- she's really nice."
"Be more specific, amigo. Nice isn't how you like someone."
"Enough." Marc shakes his head "Steven, if you like her then go ahead. But just don't get attached."
"What do you mean?"
"I have Layla— we have Layla. I'm married to her. You can have a crush on your little neighbor, sure, but it's not like you can date her."
"Marc... come on, I have my own life... we have our own lives. What if I decide I want to date her? What if I really really like her, you know?"
"I don't know." he sighed, scratching his eyebrow "It's gonna be complicated, you know that."
Steven let out a sigh, looking down "I-I know... but I just... I just really like her."
Jake on the other hand was deep in this own thoughts. Marc heads to bed when Jake fronts, taking over the body. He cracks his neck before walking out and knocking on your door.
You were just about to take off your makeup when you head his knock. Your fluffy pink slippers squeaked as you made your way to the door, opening it "Stevie? Did you miss me already?" you giggled.
"Do you want to go out with me?" Jake put on his best performance, speaking in a kind of shy British accent.
"Out? Like, a date?" you blinked twice.
"Yes."
Jake understood now. He saw the way your eyes sparkled and your blinding smile "Oh my gosh, yes!" you squealed before covering your mouth, looking side to side across the halls, worried you might've woken up your neighbors "Yes. Let's go out. Uh, maybe lunch? I'm free."
"That's alright with me." he nodded.
"Alright." you couldn't help but smile like a fool "Goodnight, Stevie."
"Goodnight..."
After closing your door, you silently screamed, jumping up and down in excitement. Your exhaustion suddenly disappears as you start planning out your outfit for the morning.

Chapter XII - Company dinner
word count: 3k words
Since your mother-in-law was spending time with Haru, you took the time you needed to relax, sleep in the afternoon, pack for the trip, then get ready for the dinner party.
It was the first time in a while when you went out, and you were really in need of socialising face-to-face with some adults.
You picked a knee-length dress and some black thighs, and you felt a bit self-conscious of your stomach that still didn't completely disappear after giving birth, but chose to ignore it and just go out and have fun.
"Ready?" Minho smiled at you. "You're really beautiful!"
"Thank you!" You smiled back. "You don't look too bad yourself."
He was wearing a casual black suit, and he looked like a model, as usual. His shirt had one too many opened buttons, and you took a peek at his chest shamelessly.
The ride to their company wasn't too long, and as soon as you arrived and Minho took you to one of the rooms upstairs. You were glad to see that the boys were already there.
"Da-Eun! I missed you sooooo much!" Taemin hugged you tightly, and you sat down next to him.
Onew waved at you over the table and mouthed a "Hey, beautiful", making you smile.
The drinks were pouring as you and Taemin were playing a funny would you rather game that consisted of dilemmas. You found a Facebook page about it and knew he would most definitely love it, but you didn't want to send it to him, even if you messaged almost daily.
Your messages mostly consisted of him sending pictures of his cat or food, and you sending back Haru's cute sleeping poses and little toes.
Well, you only sent toes once, actually, because Taemin shocked you by sending back a picture of his feet as well, so you figured that whatever you sent, he'd send back. This was indeed a weird power to have.
"So, the next one says: 'There's always a fog in your house' OR 'There is moss growing on your bed'. What would you choose?" You asked him, laughing.
"Would a moss bed be comfortable?" He contemplated, supporting his chin on his fist.
"To be honest, having fog in the house would be pretty fun. Like a concert or something." Jinki answered, making you raise your gaze and look at him. He must've been bored out of his mind to participate in your silly game.
You saw something in the eyes of the girl next to him, who was sitting directly in front of Minho, and you wondered if it was just your imagination. Why would she look annoyed at you?
You didn't pay it much mind at first.
"I think I'll go with moss." Taemin replied after careful consideration.
"I'm definitely picking the fog." Jinki laughed. "I mean, think about it, it's pretty cool."
"How's that cool? What if you can't see where you're walking?" Taemin scoffed.
"Or like, if you burn something up while cooking. Would it be fog, or smoke?" You added.
"Woah, you're thinking far!" Jinki exclaimed.
"What about you, Da-Eun?" Taemin asked. "Settle the debate."
"Hmmm. Depends how thick the fog is, but I'm not sure I'd like sleeping on moss."
"Come on, it would be fluffy!"
"You do have a point." You chuckled.
"So, you're on team Taemin then, or are you joining the dark side?" Jinki asked you with a grin.
"The fog side-" Taemin started.
"I'm team Fog." You shrugged.
"That means it's 2 vs 1, so we won." Jinki boasted.
"No way! Not fair. Minhooooo!" He shouted, but he didn't hear Taemin at first, being immersed in a conversation with the woman in front of him. You softly bumped your elbow into his side, making him give you attention.
"Yea?" He smiled. "Sorry Ji-an, just a sec." He excused himself and turned to the three of you. The girl rolled her eyes.
"We are having an intense debate," you explained, deciding to ignore what you just saw, "and wanted another opinion."
"Let's hear it."
"So, would you rather sleep on a bed where moss is always growing, or would you rather have fog in our house at all times?"
"Well, I can always cover moss with bed sheets." He shrugged. "So I guess moss is better."
"See?!" Taemin grinned. "Moss is the obvious choice."
"What idiots would pick the fog?" The girl next to Jinki and in front of Minho, who he was just talking to a moment ago – Ji-an, if you understood correctly, who rolled your eyes at you talking to your husband – intervened.
"Guess we're idiots." Jinki shook his head and looked at you.
"No, we're definitely smarter." You replied serious. "Minho, look-" You now turned completely to him, and his eyes stayed fixed on yours as you explained your rationing.
"Even if you cover the moss with bed sheets, moss means there's a lot of humidity. The bed sheets would always be damp and uncomfortable, and who knows, you might even have fog, since fog is normally formed where it's humid. The room would definitely be humid-"
"Yea, Minho! You can't pick moss and force Da-Eun to sleep on a damp bed! Ew." Jinki exclaimed, referencing the fact that you two are married so you probably sleep together.
That felt like a rock fell on your head, because you've never slept next to Minho, not even last night, when he didn't bother returning to the bed. Jinki's words made you over analyse. Minho was your husband, why did you never sleep next to him? Did he even like you romantically, or was he just caught up in the moment last night? You definitely started to have a thing for him. Heck, you sucked his dick and masturbated to the thoughts of him moaning your name.
Your gaze moved again around the table, and you saw Ji-an's cold eyes on you again, as Minho captured your hand and spoke. "You're right, you're right. I'll pick fog as well if my dear wife picked it." He tapped on your hand a few times soothingly, then resumed his conversation with the girl in front of him.
"Okay, let's just move on." Taemin waved his hand around. "You've cheated, Da-Eun!"
"I didn't! Oh God! Okay, the next one says: 'every time someone tries to sell you a membership, you say yes', or 'every time you want to dance, the music stops'. What would it be?"
"That's kinda unfair." Onew remarked. "We wouldn't be able to do our job if we picked the second option."
"We can just sing, though?!" Taemin exclaimed.
"Yea, imagine singing the instrumental parts." You laughed.
"Having to get every membership is a bit much, though." Jinki thought.
"I don't know how to dance, but imagine like going to the club with friends and the music stops everytime you move."
"Or at a concert. Fans would be so shocked!" Taemin burst out laughing.
"Do we all agree that the membership is the lesser devil?"
All the three of you nodded.
"Hey, I'm gonna go get some air, I'll be back in a bit." Minho whispered in your ear, and you just nodded, getting back to playing with the guys.
"Just a question before we start again. What's with that girl? Maybe it's in my head, but it feels like she's been throwing daggers at me the whole evening." You asked, chuckling nervously, as soon as you noticed Ji-an getting up from her seat and leaving the table as well, following Minho.
"Oh, it's definitely not in your head." Taemin laughed.
"Yea, she and Minho had a thing a while back, but they broke it off due to very little time to see each other." Jinki clarified.
"She definitely still has a thing for him."
"Oh." Was all you could reply, while you let the information sink in. "Anyways, let's get back to our game. Next one is: 'every week, you have to send a detailed report of your week to your friends'-"
"Taemin already does that." Jinki laughed.
"OR 'you can flush the toilet only once a day'." You continued, ignoring the interruption.
"I don't send you detailed reports! There's so much more I could send!"
"Like what? At this point, I swear you're even texting me when you go to the bathroom."
"No, I'm not!" Taemin defended himself, and you raised a questioning brow.
He scoffed, and seeing the gaze you and Jinki threw at him, he finally admitted. "Okay, I am. I guess I'll pick this one since I'm already doing it!" He laughed. You loved Taemin's energy so much.
~
You continued playing for a while, the three of you having a lot of fun and getting drunker with each passing minute as you downed the 7th bottle of Soju together.
While Taemin contemplated on the answer to your latest question, you noticed it's been a while since Minho left the table. Ji-an wasn't back either.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom. Wait for me." You declared, while standing up with resolve. On your way to the bathroom, you turned a corner and saw Minho and Ji-an in a pretty compromising position. She was holding his collar, while his hands were on her wrists, but you couldn't tell if he was pushing her away or keeping her close.
You considered turning around and giving them privacy, but there was a sinking feeling in your stomach, and you didn't know if you actually wanted to give them any more privacy.
Minho was your husband.
Why should you let other women touch him?
If that's what he wants, he should tell you and you should just get divorced, then.
You shrugged and started walking towards them, slowly. They didn't notice you at first, so you overheard bits of their conversation.
"Look, I'm sure we could make this work. After I heard you got married-"
"Please let go." Minho replied with a sigh. "I really don't want to do this here."
"Let's go back to my place, then?" She asked, hopeful.
"Ji-an, that's not what I meant." He sounded tired. "I obviously don't want to get back together, I have a family-"
"A fake one." She intervened and tried pulling him closer by the collar, but he didn't budge.
You got fairly close to them, and as soon as he saw you, Minho's eyes grew wide.
"Sorry to interrupt." You showed them a smile that didn't reach your eyes.
"Da-Eun, I swear it's not what it looks like-" He pushed Ji-an's hands away and turned to you. "I didn't-"
"Come on, Minho, stop pretending! I know you still have feelings for me too!"
"We broke up ages ago, Ji-an..." He frowned.
"Bullshit! What, don't you think I know that you two don't love each other?" She shouted and looked at you, as if threatening you.
Ji-an was beautiful, undoubtedly so. You understood that Minho might have had a thing for her in the past. But you were his wife.
Why should you cower in front of her and let her disrespect your relationship like this, with no shame whatsoever?
"Look," you started calmly. "I don't care what was between you." You grabbed Minho's left hand and noticed the gold ring on his finger. Ever since you told him you liked seeing him wear it, he never took it off.
That gave you courage.
"But we are a family, and we have a child to raise, so I will say this respectfully only once: leave my husband alone. Yea? The past is the past." You continued smiling fakely, and Minho held your hand tighter.
"I won't have it. You're just taking advantage, having everything handed to you on a silver plate, and you preach 'family'?! Minho is just a cosy blanket for you to fall on, while he is my whole world!" She continued. This was a personal vendetta against you.
"Why did you break up, then?" You shrugged. "But you're right about that. He does hand me everything on a silver platter." You looked at him, noticing Minho's worried gaze on yours. "But you know what? That's not a problem, because... I'm willing to give him back a golden one instead." You glanced into his eyes, confessing the feelings you've been harbouring for a while now.
Going to therapy helped you understand that you shouldn't feel guilty for feeling love for someone else. You could start loving Minho while still being in love with Kibum and his memory, and that was okay. It took you a while to comprehend this, so you were glad you brought it up in therapy three months ago. It gave you plenty of time to adjust to the feeling growing in your chest and the happiness you felt whenever he was around you.
"You're such a whore, you know that? Your boyfriend died not even a year ago, and you already want someone else?!" She mocked you, but her words didn't even registered. They were empty, like all those comments you've been reading on the internet. "And the thing you said earlier about the child, you really think he could ever love some other man's baby?!" she pushed your buttons, but you didn't have to say anything in response, because Minho started ripping her ear off about how disrespectful she was. He seemed sick of staying silent and didn't want you to go through this battle alone, since it wasn't even your battle to begin with.
It was his fault that things escalated to this point.
"That was the dumbest shit you've ever said." Minho replied coldly. "Who are you to tell me who I can and cannot love?! Who do you think you are to speak like that about Da-eun when you don't even know her?!"
"Minho, I didn't-"
"Don't ever say something like that about my wife or my baby again. About me? Go and bullshit all you want. But don't you dare say that ever again about them, Ji-an. Got it?"
"But-"
"Got it?!" He repeated harshly.
Her face dropped as she realised that she said the wrong things. Minho continued on and on about how inappropriate she's been, he let her know there was never going to be anything between them again, and she should just leave the two of you be and stop trying to get between you, especially when it came to things she knows nothing about.
You were truly happy that he stuck to your side, and his hand tightly holding yours as you started to walk away from Ji-an amplified that growing love in your heart a million times.
Still, you unloaded all these feelings on Minho without actually knowing how he felt about you, so as you were walking through the hallways, you saw the door to the stairs and decided to suggest a small detour.
You nudged Minho towards the stairs, and as soon as you passed through the door, you looked at him.
"Da-Eun, I'm so sorry..." He started. "That was Ji-an, my ex-girlfriend. We dated for a while before... but you know I was away for a year during filming. We broke up, and I haven't spoken to her since, I swear."
"Minho, you don't have to explain." You shook your head. "There's nothing to apologise for, and I'm not mad at you."
"You aren't?"
"Why would I be?" You tilted your head with a frown.
"The way she was touching me... I would be upset if another man held you like this." He replied and grabbed your wrists, placing your hands on his neck, similar to the position he was in earlier with Ji-an. "She grabbed me, and I didn't want to outright smack her hands away, although I should have... I was just taken aback."
"That's okay."
"I'm serious!" He added, almost desperate.
"I appreciate you telling her off when she spoke like that about me and Haru."
"Of course. It's the truth. We are a family." He affirmed, and damn was it hard to not kiss him right then and there.
But you had to find out something first. To hear it from him.
"Minho, I... I need to know something." You glanced into his eyes, and you realised how much you loved how sparkling and alive they looked.
"Anything."
"But I'm fairly intoxicated, so bear with me."
"That's fine." He chuckled.
"I need to know where I stand. I mean, I prefer being rejected than being confused, so... Uhm, I'm having feelings for you, so if you don't feel the same way, please do me a favour, and reject me loud and clear-" You said, but before you managed to finish your rambling, Minho was already capturing your lips with his in a fevered kiss. Your hands moved to his nape as he started pushing you against the wall, and you couldn't get enough of his raw passion.
When your tongues made contact, you felt euphoric. You couldn't taste him enough. You wanted him closer, you needed him, but it was not the time, nor the place to have such an intimate encounter. The steps and voices that you started hearing from above told you as much, so, much to your dismay, Minho broke off the kiss and glanced into your eyes instead.
"I like you so much, Da-Eun. You have no idea."
The voices were getting closer.
"You are simply breathtaking. I can't get enough of you." He continued in a whisper, and despite your bodies creating distance, his eyes told you that he wanted you as much as you wanted him.
"Hey, if it's not Choi Minho!" A man you didn't recognise greeted him. Next to him was a woman that looked around your age. "And this must be your beautiful wife, right?" He continued, looking at you. You were sure your cheeks were flushed with embarrassment, so you just hoped the make-up was enough to cover it.
"Hey! Yes, this is Da-Eun. Love, these are our stylists, ..."
You continued chatting for a while before the pair excused themselves, and you decided to head back home as well. After you greeted Taemin and Onew goodbye, you hopped in your car and went to the apartment to rest before departing in the morning.

Elijah stood in the crowd, absentmindedly sipping his champagne while listening in on different conversations. Laughter bubbled throughout the compound at another Mikaelson ball. He sighed and made his way to find his brother. He heard Klaus from far off, bickering with Hope about the dress she had chosen for the night.
"Dad, it's my birthday ball. I should be able to wear what I want!" She huffed. Elijah turned the corner into one of the various hallways of the compound, coming around to see the father and daughter facing off.
He chuckled, "Children, please," he said, eyeing Hope's admittedly short dress. Her hair was curled and she sported a sky blue cocktail dress. "Although your father may have a point," Elijah stated, raising an eyebrow.
Klaus gestured to Elijah, "Thank you, brother!" He exclaimed.
"I'm 18! I'm going to wear whatever I want," Hope said, storming into the party with finality. Elijah walked closer to his brother, putting a hand on his shoulder, stifling a laugh.
"She is very strong-willed, like her father," He said, raising his champagne flute to his lips. Klaus glared at his brother and sighed. "She has a point though. She is a young woman now. Just give her this one night to do and wear what she wants." The men turned and departed the hallway, heading back into the party. Klaus grabbed a champagne flute and headed to stand on a flight of stairs. Elijah stood at the base, looking into the crowd again.
"May I have your attention!" Klaus called out into the large room, "I would like to say a few words about my daughter, Hope." Klaus smiled down at her as he began his speech. Elijah continued to scan the room. His brother's voice faded from his ears when his eyes landed on a woman amongst the crowd, standing with his sister Freya. She was beautiful, wearing a blush coloured, floor-length dress. Her Y/C/H hair flowing down her back in an elegantly curled braid. She beamed up at Klaus as he gave his heartfelt speech about Hope. Elijah felt an unfamiliar sensation in his chest, a feeling he hadn't felt in a very, very long time.
In unison, the crowd lifted their glasses and cheered, "To Hope!" The woman put her glass to her full, pink lips. The room erupted into conversation and movement, and Elijah lost sight of her. As if jogged from a trance, Elijah put his champagne on the nearest surface and began searching the crowd once more. He pushed passed strangers and friends alike to get to where he had spotted her. He broke through the other side of the crowd, looking around for her or Freya. He found the two making their way around the outskirts of the party, talking and laughing together. He took a second to compose himself, putting his left hand in his suit pants pocket. Taking a deep breath, he followed after her.
"Good evening," he said casually, coming up behind the two women. They turned and Freya greeted him with a smile and a warm hug. The stranger stood by with a polite smile on her face.
"Elijah! I was wondering when I'd see you," she pulled away and turned to the woman next to her. "Y/N, this is my brother, Elijah." Freya smiled at Y/N.
"Hello, Elijah," She greeted, extending her hand. Rather than shaking it, Elijah took her hand and raised it to his lips, kissing it softly. Blush crept up Y/N's cheeks as Freya's eyebrows raised.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Elijah said, not taking his eyes off her Y/E/C ones. "May I have this dance?" He heard her heartbeat quicken as she gave a small nod, letting Elijah gently tug her to the dance floor.
"I guess I'll just hang out here! By myself!" Freya called after them, huffing to herself.
--
Y/N was a New Orleans French Quarter witch. That was how she and Freya had met and became friends. Y/N had started coming around the compound more and more frequently over the following weeks, becoming closer to the Original family. Rosie cheeks and stolen glances at Elijah filled her visits under the excuse of hanging out with Freya. She loved her friend, truly, but she couldn't get her mind off of the oldest Mikaelson brother. He, on the other hand, seemed to distance himself from her after his first introduction. She had hoped that she didn't offend him in some way. “Maybe I’m just not his type,“ She thought to herself.
"Y/N?" Freya's voice sounded in Y/N's head, jogging her from her thoughts.
"What, I'm sorry?" She looked at her friend, confused. They were sitting on a couch located in the library of the compound, pulling a late-night together. Her thoughts of Elijah had distracted her mid-conversation.
Freya rolled her eyes. "I asked if you'd like to come to the Halloween party we're throwing here this weekend. Hope wants it to be a big event, and you know Klaus would do anything to keep her happy." Freya smiled at Y/N.
Y/N nodded, thinking about the father/daughter relationship Hope and Klaus had brought a sad smile to her face. She was glad Hope would have the love of family throughout her life. Y/N was alone in New Orleans, growing up in different foster homes and halfway houses. Her real family unknown to her, she had been tossed from house to house because of the unexplainable things that happened around her. Until she met Vincent, back when he was still married to Eva Sinclair. He taught Y/N about what living in New Orleans really meant for people like her. He made her feel like she belonged.
"I'd love to come! Costume party?" Y/N asked, sipping tea from her mug.
Freya nodded, "Hope wouldn't have it any other way."
Elijah rolled his eyes. "I will not be wearing a costume. I believe I may just stay behind and let you all enjoy the fun," He said to Hope and Klaus. Hope was trying on her little red riding hood costume for the party that night when she turned and glared at Elijah.
"Come on, Uncle Elijah. Auntie Bex is! I even got dad some devil horns that he's going to wear, right dad?" She looked over at Klaus who grimaced and looked at Elijah pleadingly.
"Yes, darling, I'll wear them," He said, defeated. Hope smiled and looked back at Elijah. Elijah shook his head again, turning to exit the room.
"Y/N will be there," Hope exclaimed as he walked toward the door. Elijah stopped in his tracks and closed his eyes, sighing. She knew that would get him to come. He wasn’t as good at hiding his feelings as he thought he was, or maybe Hope was just perceptive. Hope smiled triumphantly to herself as she turned back to the mirror to look at her costume once more, perfecting the details.
--
Y/N entered the compound, her dress flurrying around her as she was met by a large crowd of people. The sun had set and the party was in full swing. The Mikaelson’s sure know how to throw a rager, she thought to herself. She walked farther into the crowd, her dress and cloak billowing around her. She headed toward the bar, keeping her eyes peeled for Freya.
"There you are!" Freya's voice came from behind her, muffled by the music. Y/N turned and saw her friend dressed in a bright pink dress, star wand in hand with a large crown atop her head. Y/N stifled a laugh at the sight.
"And what are you supposed to be?" Y/N said over the music.
Freya frowned, "What, you don't get it? I'm Glinda! You know, from The Wizard Of Oz?" She flourished her wand in Y/N's face and laughed.  Freya was already a few drinks in. "Who are you supposed to be?" She asked, her words slightly slurred.
Y/N looked down at her costume, and back up to Freya. "I'm Sarah Sanderson! From Hocus Pocus," Y/N twirled in her spot. She and Freya giggled as Y/N spun. Mid-spin, she spotted Elijah coming down the stairs and her breath hitched in her throat. She didn't take Elijah for the costume type, so she hadn't expected him to be here tonight.
He looked absolutely regal in his black suit and tie. Large white angels wings sprouted from his back. He looked around the room while coming down the stairs, not yet seeing Y/N. Freya followed Y/N's gaze and saw Elijah.  She drunkenly put an arm around Y/N's shoulder.
"You know, I think you have a thing for my brother," She accused. Y/N blushed, turning away from the angel.
"I'm the last person he would be interested in if I was," Y/N cast one last look his way before turning back to the bar, ordering a drink. "Let's get this party started," She said to her friend, giving her a smile. She reminded herself to not get attached. Everyone leaves eventually.
--
Y/N and Freya were joined by Rebekah, but they couldn't quite tell who she was dressed as. All they could tell was that it was tight and it was spandex. The three danced and drank in the middle of the party, not a care in the world. Elijah watched from the bar protectively. Something about this woman was so magnetic, so charming. He couldn't bring himself to admit that there was a flame ignited in his heart at the sight of her. He doesn't let people in. She's a mortal witch, her life span was the blink of an eye compared to his. No, he wouldn't let himself get attached. She would see him for the monster he was. He turned to mingle with the crowd, although he never let the three women leave his line of sight.
Y/N was having the time of her life with her friends, drunkenly dancing the night away.
“I’m going to go grab more drinks!” She slurred to the other two girls. They cheered in response as she turned and stumbled toward the bar. She caught the bartender's attention and ordered. He returned with three shot glasses and she thanked him, turning to get back to dancing. Before she could take a step, she collided with someone.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” She cried, slurring her words. She stumbled back to look at the person she collided with, finding the handsome angel she had been eyeing earlier. He pursed his lips, wiping the front of his suit with his handkerchief. “Elijah,” she gasped, “I am so sorry, let me he-”
“Do not bother, Y/N,” he said, holding his hand up. He glared in her direction, not looking in her eyes. She gulped at his response.
“Please, let me make it up to you,” She tried dipping her head to catch his eye. He turned and motioned to the bartender for more shots.
“Have a pleasant evening,” He nodded curtly at her and turned to walk away, leaving her standing there, unsure of what just happened. Anger flared in her chest as she watched the angel walk away. She grabbed one of the shots that the bartender had set out and downed it quickly. Taking the other two to her friends, she let the music take her away, continuing to party.
-
The night continued on and the party began to thin out, while the three girls in the center of the dance floor kept going, laughing and dancing. Elijah had kept his eyes on them, amazed at how the two witches could keep up with the vampire. Elijah looked around at the few stragglers left, sitting around drunkenly talking to one another. He made his way across the compound, heading towards the stairs to head up to his room for the night. The music was quieter now,  not as upbeat. Y/N saw him moving across the dance floor and stumbled as fast as she could to get in front of him.
“Elijah,” She slurred,  “Please let me apologize for earlier. Dance with me!” She scooped him away before he could object, wrapping her arms around his neck, not letting him leave.
“Y/N I-” He started, but she shushed him, swaying to the music.
“Elijah I know you don’t like me that much, and I don’t know why but I just want to let you know that I’m sorry for spilling those drinks on you and I’m sorry for making you hate me for whatever reason,” she drunkenly let her head fall on his chest while she spoke, her eyes fluttering shut.
Elijah’s eyes widened at her speech, his hands falling to rest on her back. She hummed at his touch and smiled, eyes still closed. “Y/N… I apologize for making you feel that way, that was not my intention.” He looked down at her, “I just wanted to keep you safe,” He whispered.
Suddenly Y/N slumped into him, dropping like dead weight. Elijah reacted quickly and scooped her up, seeing she had passed out. He looked toward Freya and Rebecca who had already fallen asleep on the couch, snuggling into each other. His heart warmed at the sight of his sisters together. He refocused on the beautiful woman in his arms and began to climb the stairs, heading toward his room. He gently opened the door and crossed the room, laying her in the bed and covering her up. She adjusted into the comfort of the bed, grabbing Elijah’s hand as he slid his arms out from underneath her.
“Stay with me?” she mumbled. His heart softened and he silently agreed, stripping out of his wings and suit jacket. He crossed to the other side of the bed and slid into it, careful not to touch her. She turned to him and opened her eyes slightly. “Will you hold me?” she asked quietly. Tears brimmed her eyes.
He nodded and opened his arms to her, confused and worried. “What’s wrong, darling?” He whispered.
She moved into his open arms and placed her head on his chest, wrapping one arm around the front of him tightly. He felt his shirt dampen where her head lay. He held her close, rubbing one hand up and down her back, waiting for a response. He felt her start to tremble next to him.
“I think I’m in love with you, and I’m terrified,” she whispered into him. She let out a small cry, scared of his reaction. “I’m terrified you’ll hate me for telling you. I’m terrified you’ll leave if we do end up together. I’m terrified of everything falling apart. I’m terrified of people leaving.”
Elijah’s heart cracked at her words.
“Y/N.. I think I’m terrified to admit the feelings I have for you. I wish nothing more than for your safety and happiness,” He kissed her hair and he felt her relax in his arms. She had fallen asleep on him, inebriated and vulnerable. Elijah held her for the rest of the night, stroking her hair and cherishing the moment.
-
When morning came, Y/N thought her head would explode. She groaned and rolled over, putting her hands over her face. The bed was empty beside her. How did she get in the bed? Her memory was fuzzy, but she remembered large white wings and strong arms carrying her. She sat up in bed, suddenly panicked, realizing who’s room she was in. What else had happened? She concentrated, squeezing her eyes shut.  “I wish nothing more than for your safety and happiness,“ She remembered hearing his deep voice whisper to her before she fell asleep. Her heart thudded heavily in her chest. Had she dreamt of this confession? Did her drunken subconscious trick her into hearing his voice?
Someone cleared their throat in the doorway, startling her. She looked up to see Elijah holding a tray with water, aspirin, eggs, and toast. She blushed intensely, trying to brush her hair down and make herself look decent. He smiled at her warmly. “Good morning. I apologize for startling you,” He said. He crossed the room to her, putting the tray on the nightstand and sitting on the bed next to her.
He stared into her eyes, warmth flooding his chest. “It wasn’t a dream,” he said quietly, confirming her silent hope. He heard her heart flutter at his words.
Tears brimmed her eyes again. She bit her lip and looked down at her hands. “What does this mean for us?” She whispered.
He reached out and moved her chin to look at him. “It means I love you.” He smiled at her. Tears spilled onto her cheeks as she smiled and leaned forward, closing the space between them. She kissed him with no regard for the world around them. Her hands moved to his neck, tangling in his chestnut hair. He pulled her close, deepening the kiss and laying her on the bed. The eggs and toast got cold before Y/N got to them.
-
“I’ve been wanting this since you asked me to dance that night.” Y/N said, playing with Elijah’s hand as they laid side by side. “I haven’t been able to get you out of my head.” She smiled.
He adjusted to put his arm around her and pulled her close, kissing her head. “You will never have to be terrified again. I am here and I’m not leaving you. You have my word.” He moved her chin with his free hand to gaze into her Y/E/C eyes. He kissed her again, hoping to convey his pent up love and lust in one kiss. He knew he’d never be able to make her understand the depths of his affection for her. Just as he knew he may never know the extent of hers for him.
She pulled away slightly and whispered, “I love you and I’m not terrified anymore.”

As the Hero fell upwards through the sands of time, the days rewinding like the gears of a clock, he landed calmly on the cobblestones of Clock Town Square, at the dawn of the first day. He had been through this many times before, and had grown accustomed to reliving the same 3 days, helping the same people with the same schedules, slowly making more and more progress each time. At least he didn't feel an enormous time crunch, even with the threat of the moon hanging above him, he was always able to rewind the days, and could take days to rest, to sleep or ride Epona or play with the inhabitants.
He rarely did, but it was nice that the option was there.
He was pulled from his thoughts by Tatl getting his attention with a soft tinkling sound, looking over at the stand near the Deku flower, and the note pinned to it.
"That's certainly new…" she said cautiously as they approached, Tatl reading aloud to Link.
Tumblr media
The pair exchanged a confused and frightened look. It wasn't signed, but they knew exactly who left the note for them.
BEN sat on the edge of the field, their boots hanging over the barrier where the grass turned into sand, looking out at the canyon leading to the beach. It had been so long since they had entered their game, only playing it from the outside. Perhaps they had been showing too much love to Breath of the Wild lately and not enough to the dark masterpiece of their former prison, or perhaps it was the only world they could enter that felt truly real, where the sun was warm and the wind blew. They HAD become a bit spoiled, learning that adding weather effects and random wind blowing did wonders to immersion when they entered a game.
They closed their eyes, speaking up before looking behind them.
"You didn't have to rush over here. "as possible" doesn't mean "instantly", you know…" BEN said gently, lowering their ears with a guilty smile.
Link frowned softly, keeping his distance from the elf. He couldn't draw his sword AND sign, after all, so he would have to make due. "You didn't specify. I've learned better than to provoke you."
BEN couldn't exactly blame his caution. It's why they were here, after all. "My bad. I'll be more specific next time. But I suppose it's neither here nor there now…"
"...is there something you want, BEN? " Link asked, clearly a bit anxious by being asked to meet.
"...a few things. I won't lie and say there isn't a favor I'd like to ask the both of you-"
"Like you have any right to ask Link for anything, at this point!" Tatl quickly interjected, turning red in anger. "You've terrorized us for no good reason, revealed truths we didn't need to know, and then just left us alone one day!"
"-BUT," BEN continued, "that isn't my main reason for being here. First and foremost... You're long overdue for an apology from me."
Link and Tatl looked at each other in confusion. "...pardon? " Link questioned.
"...I've been doing a lot of thinking and self reflecting lately. Especially because I finally have reason to want to improve myself. And I think I've gotten pretty far in trying to right the wrongs of my past, and try to change as a person. But I still never gave the both of you a proper apology, or even an explanation for how I treated you…" BEN sheepishly said.
Link looked down at the seated person, absolutely dumbfounded. All the times he had been attacked by BEN came instantly into his mind, only to not even be able to so much as scratch them in return, even the might of a Goron doing nothing to them. All the times he had been followed and told he was insignificant, worthless, a joke of a hero, told he was nothing more than a bland, boring conduit for the player of a game in a world far grander than his own. Only for BEN to just... Disappear one day. Gone. Vanish into thin air, and only return occasionally, seemingly at their leisure. Something... Didn't add up to him, and he wasn't sure what on Earth made them suddenly stop tormenting him, and now want to make things right.
"...I'll hear you out, at least," Link finally said, stepping forward to sit next to him. If nothing else, were he going to harm Link, BEN would have done it by now.
"Not that it makes us all hunky-dory yet," Tatl offered, settling on Link's shoulder.
BEN smiled softly, letting out a relieved breath. They stayed quiet for a moment, deciding their words carefully. "I'm not... Sure where to start. So much has happened to me. I guess I should start when we first met. When I first entered this game. It was my favorite game, and with me when I died," they started.
Tatl interrupted, jingling softly. "...when you died?"
BEN nodded softly. "When I died. I was just about your age, Link, about 12. More specifically, when I was murdered. Father simply... Got tired of me, I suppose. He tricked my religion's leader- we refer to him as The Father- into thinking it was my time to Ascend when it wasn't. The whole explanation of my belief system isn't important in this, just that I was robbed of something very important and sacred to me because of it."
"That sounds horrible," Link signed.
"It was... And I was only 12, and not the greatest at understanding or expressing my emotions... I was so angry, absolutely furious at losing that chance, as what had been done to me. I've always had a strong sense of justice, if you can believe it. I don't easily stand for people wronging me. But when I died, my spirit was trapped in this game. All that rage bottled up, with nowhere to release it... Until I started releasing it on you. Very unfairly."
"I'll say," Tatl said, though there wasn't much bite behind her words.
"Eventually, someone played the game, and I was able to break free, find someone else to torment. And after that, start lashing out at everyone who had hurt me, making them
PĄŸ,"
BEN continued, their voice glitching out just a bit at the final word.
"...i moved on to more innocent people after that. I was out of control. To the point where my goddess, Luna, intervened. She stopped me herself, gave me a new body, made me into a young adult so I wouldn't be trapped as a child forever, and I carry the souls of everyone I hurt in my blind sadism, until I join her again one day. And I've worked hard to be a better person now. I've found so much to make my life wonderful, and to make the most of my second chance…" BEN trailed off.
"...but you still want to make amends to everyone you've hurt," Link finished for them.
"...I don't expect you to forgive me. I don't think I can be forgiven. But I really AM sorry for how I treated you. Both of you. Of everyone I've lashed out at, you're the least deserving of it. No matter WHAT'S happened to me, it's NO excuse for how much I've hurt you. And even if you never forgive me, I would love the opportunity to make it up to you…" they finished softly.
"...would you excuse us for a moment?" Tatl asked, flying a slight distance away. Link glanced over at BEN before rising to his feet to follow, and speak with the fairy alone. BEN politely stayed looking forward, allowing them the privacy.
"...do you believe them?" Tatl asked.
"...yeah. They seem genuine," Link admitted.
Tatl nodded softly. "I do, too. There's much simpler ways to trick us or convince us if that was their intention. Even if they said they wanted a favor, this is a lot of lengths to go to for just that…"
"I wonder what they want," the hero mused, glancing over at BEN.
"...maybe ask? Perhaps you can also ask a favor of him, test his sincerity," she said.
"What would that be? " he asked.
"Well, you've said you're curious about his world, whatever it is that our entire world is only a game in, a small part of. Maybe you can ask to explore his world. It'd give you the opportunity to spend more time with him and let him earn your trust, anyway," she offered.
Link nodded softly, then whistled to get BEN's attention. "Alright, BEN, we've talked it over. First, I want to know what favor it is you want…"
"Actually, it's a favor specifically from Tatl," they explained.
"Wait, me?" she questioned.
"...my daughter has watched me play this game a lot. And she's absolutely fallen in LOVE with you, she ADORES seeing you on screen. Her first birthday is in a few months, and there's... Circumstances about my life, and now hers, that will make her very different from other children, with so many secrets to keep. She could really use having a companion by her side, a friend to offer wisdom and company and help when she needs it. A copy of you, like how I copied Epona, to watch over her and make her feel less alone…" BEN said.
"...you have a daughter?" Link asked.
"And a boyfriend. Soon to be husband," BEN explained, holding up their hand to show off their ring.
Tatl let out a soft chime at this. "Well... I'm certainly flattered you think I'd make a good companion to her…"
BEN smiled softly. "I don't expect an answer today, don't worry. There's still a few months before her birthday. And I understand if it's not something you're comfortable with…"
"...we have a proposal for you, in that case," Link began. "You want to make amends to us. We're admittedly curious about this world outside of our own. So, let us explore. Show us your life, and what lies outside this "game", and earn our trust. Then we'll consider it."
BEN thought this over. They'd have to be careful, but this wasn't impossible… "...I can't completely remove you from the game. I'd have to copy you, then merge the copy and your true self after. It's basically the same thing, though, you'd keep the memories and everything. And you'd have to do EXACTLY as I say, I... REALLY can't have attention drawn to myself or the people I live with. If there's something that catches your attention, you can't gawk, just stay calm and ask me. And there's going to be a LOT, the real world is nothing like this one. Hylian sign doesn't match up with any sign language in my world, so you'll at least be able to speak freely. But if you can do that, and trust that I'm keeping us both safe when I tell you to do something... I'll happily show you around."
Link considers this, then nods. He holds out his hand to BEN, who shakes it.
"Then we have a deal."

Suite 114 | Pt. 19 |
■ pairing: Jimin x Oc
■ genre: fluff, smut
■ words: 4k
Time passes in the comfort of his arms. Not fast. Not slow. But as it should.
I dozed off almost immediately after we collapsed into my cloud of pillows and blankets, but eventually wake up from the chilled night air wafting across my upper body.
With the help of the soft sound of his breathing, I relax further into the man beside me, curling myself around his frame and draping my leg over his thighs.
With his head turned up and eyes closed in comfortable sleepy silence, I count the beautiful blemishes scattered across the expanse of his neck, committing every detail of them to memory. The photos I used to gawk over online in no way compare to the creamy skin a breaths length in front of me. Fine hair tickles my fingers as they graze over a particular spot that my lips ache to touch.
Jimin's bare chest expands under my arm and I tilt my head up further to watch his  mouth open wide to release a loud yawn that vibrates his whole body. Smiling, I pull myself up to press my lips against the patch of skin I’ve been staring at for God knows how long.
My bed creaks as his body twists to mirror mine.
“You’re still awake?” He asks hoarsely, positioning his face closer to mine on the pillow. I feel his soft fingers play with the skin at my waist, pinching and subsequently rubbing as if apologizing to the abused skin. Not that it hurts, if anything it feels extremely relaxing, more so knowing whose hands are doing it.
“I don’t want to sleep right now,” I reply.
He kisses my forehead and drags his lips down my temple to press another into the fullness of my red cheeks.
He giggles and mumbles against my cheek, “When will you stop blushing around me?”
My neck feels ticklish suddenly and my shoulder cringes upwards against him, “Whenever you stop kissing me so much.”
His torso lifts off of the bed, his hands pressed on either side of me to hold his weight above mine, “Oh, so should I stop kissing you then?”
In the most playful way I can, I roll my eyes at his absurdity, “Of course not,” I lift up, aiming for his pouty lips but end up kissing his cheek instead when he turns his head abruptly.
“Uh uh. No more kisses for you,” his own cheeks redden as he smiles down at me and sits back on his knees
“Nooooo,” I whine like the child I am and pounce at him. With more ease and agility than a human should even have, he slips off of the bed in one quick movement, leaving me to face plant into the sheets where his body just was, “Jimin!”
His loud chuckle echoes loudly off of my bedroom walls, “I like when you’re whiny,” falling to his knees gracefully next to the bed, he places his palms on either side of my head and lifts my face to his, “I guess if you need my kisses that bad then….”
I grab the hair at the nape of his neck and pull him into my waiting lips. He smirks and giggles into my mouth at first, but I persist on, swiping my tongue against his full lips to let him know exactly what I want. I know the exact moment the switch in his brain flips, as he grasps my underarms and pulls me off of the bed.
Knowing that I can trust him to catch me, I withhold the yelp in my throat and barrel on with my tongue until his lips part and mine grazes against his in fervor. With my hips now settled in his lap and my knees pressed against the floor, I subtly grind into the hardness I feel growing beneath me.
“This-” he tries to pull away to speak but I tilt my head and press my mouth tighter against his.
I had absolutely no intention of having sex with him again, but feeling him press into my naked bottom spreads fire through my limbs again and I'm weak to resist what my body wants. Even if it just got it's fill not even an hour ago. If I didn't know he was hard and almost beckoning underneath me, I wouldn't dare be as brash as I'm about to be any moment.
Slipping my hand between us, I grab onto his erection and center myself as best as I can before plunging down onto the length of it, taking him to the hilt in one go.
His lips yank away and he presses his forehead against mine, “Fuck, Anna-”
I watch his eyes glass over as he looks down between our gyrating bodies, admiring the way his length disappears and reappears between my folds. My walls clench around him at the pure ecstacy covering his beautiful face. Resting my upper arms on his shoulders, I grab more of his hair and leverage myself so that his face rests against my chest and bounce on his lap as if my life depended on it. And honestly, in this moment it feels exactly that way.
We hold each other close, not one inch of us separated from the other, and ride out our sudden, lust-filled highs.
My eyes are locked onto the popcorn pattern of my ceiling as I cum, the little mountains of paint swirl in my vision until I finally close my eyes and ride the steep wave back down into reality. Into the shaking lap of an orgasming Jimin. His face is indescribable right after he's done. Like nothing could ruin his mood in that moment, not even an asteroid crashing into the room. I just want to stare at the gorgeousness of him for hours with nothing else on my mind besides the many shades of pink blotting his full, agape lips. And the way his eyes flutter, fighting the urge to stay closed and fall asleep.
Falling back, I let my back rest against the edge of my bed and take deep breaths to calm my racing heart. The room smells like pure sex and I kind of like it.
“What are you smiling about?” he asks.
I look down at Jimin through low lidded eyes, “I didn't even realize I was smiling,” I say.
I lift myself up, disconnecting our  bodies. The evidence of his orgasm leaks out of me and travels down my thigh as I sit on the edge of the bed. Jimin inhales sharply at the sight of the white, creamy substance staining my skin and now my bed sheets.
Usually I'd grab a blanket or pillow to cover myself up, but I feel completely at ease sitting naked, even under his watchful eyes. It feels natural now.
“I know this is a little late to ask,” he says, grabbing my unstained thigh and rubbing circles into my flesh with his thumb, “But, you're on birth control right?” His dark brown eyes stare up into mine carefully.
“What if I'm not?” I feel bratty and decide to challenge him just for the heck of it.
His bottom lip slips between his teeth and he raises to his knees to wrap his arms around me and settle between my legs, “Then maybe I'd have an excuse to stay.”
I melt.
Like fucking butter in his arms.
I may be reading into his words wrong, but it sounded like he wants me to get pregnant. That's crazy.
My brows furrow in on themselves, contradicting the way my chest vibrates from the pounding within. Confusion must be clear on my face.
“No, Jimin. You're crazy,” I whisper, as if someone were to overhear.
His hair shakes and tickles my chest as he moves his head back and forth. When his chin moves to rest right on my sternum, I search his wide eyes for a clue as to what is going through his mind. Is he just high on post-sex oxytocin or is he serious?
“I am. I know it's probably wrong, but it came out so easily,” he voices, his breath blowing gently up my chest. Goosebumps cover the area it's touched.
“No babies for me right now,” my lips purse. I hope he doesn't see how shy this conversation is making me feel. Not like I haven't thought of little baby Jimin’s before, but I never thought the conversation would actually come up. Especially this soon.
He lowers his face to my belly rolls and places little kisses around my belly button, “Maybe in a few years then.” He says seriously, lips brushing against the fine hairs of my abdomen.
He doesn't see my eyes widen, but I know he feels my figure stiffen a bit because he tilts his head a peaks up at me, “Jimin!” I whine and smack him on the shoulder playfully, “We literally just met!”
“That's never stopped people before,” he says. I feel his mouth upturn against my belly and the slow rumble that makes its way up his frame as he begins to chuckle.
“JIMIN!” I yell and push at his shoulders, to which he falls back, in the most exaggerated display I've ever seen, onto the floor where he grabs his stomach and belts his laughter up into the still air.
All I want to do is throw myself on him and join in with his contagious laughter, but if I sit any longer on my bed I'll never be able to remove the huge stain forming underneath me. Not being able to keep a straight face at his display of outright cuteness, I bite my lip has hard as I can and walk to the bathroom shaking my head. Though, when I see my reflection in the mirror, cheesing smile despite biting the shit out of my lip to control my laughter, I relinquish the hold on my lower lip and let it spill out.
Cleaning myself up takes just a minute with the help of magical wipes, and I'm returning to a half dead Jimin, still on the floor, glaring at the ceiling in no time. Literally glaring, as if they are having the most infuriating conversation. I take a moment and admire his sculpted body in the gleams of moonlight penetrating my bedroom window.
I'll honestly never be attracted to anyone else. It's almost a curse. I'll be utterly ruined if things weren't to work out...nobody else could even compare.
Ignoring the pile of clothes I had on before our little– not so little actually–rendezvous, I pull out a night shirt and throw it on. Realistically, I should shower, but some primal part of me wants to keep whatever is left of him inside of me for as long as possible. Plus, a shower would take away time spent with him before he leaves, which I feel approaching fast.
Silence surrounds us for a bit as I sit on the bed and watch him rise from the floor and pull my sweats back up his legs. Something on my desk catches his attention and he slides across the carpet to inspect whatever it is. His back is facing me, blocking the object that he examines quietly.
“Hmm,” he hums and turns with with his hands clasped around the object of interest, “I don't know how I should feel about this.” His brows quirk as he holds up a purple pen with a tiny figure of Mang breakdancing at the top of it.
I chortle in such an unpretty way at the ridiculous look on his face, “Don't worry, I no longer have eyes for Hoseok. Mang is super adorable though.”
He twirls my favorite pen in his hand and runs it between his thumb and pointer finger vigorously, “So, you had eyes for Hobi?”
My heart jumps into my throat. Shit.
“Oh! Well-I…...Okay,” I sigh and try to collect my thoughts and figure out a way to not make this anymore awkward, “I'm not going to deny that I've never been attracted to the others, but I've always been drawn to you the most. Now more so than ever…. obviously,” I giggle nervously, “Honestly, the rest of the guys are more like brothers now and my view on them is much different now…..”
“Anna.”
I pause mid-thought and look away from his hands, up into his crinkled eyes.
“You don't have to explain, silly. I was trying to be funny,” He drops the pen back into its place on my desk and smiled at me, “Plus I know how alluring Hoseok is, you don't have to pretend you're not attracted to him, everyone is.”
Wait a second.
“What are you saying?” I question him with squinted eyes.
“What do you mean?”
I watch his face turn from one of humor to confusion, “To me it sounds like you find him attractive.” As soon as the words leave my mouth a deep red flourishes his round cheeks.
“Ugh, well-” He turns away and pretends to examine the rest of the clutter covering my desk. No way am I letting this slip away. Jumping up from my spot I step behind him and raise on my tippy toes to rest my chin on his shoulder.
“‘Don't pretend you're not attracted to him’, Jimin,” I chuckle into the curve of his neck and press a kiss to the heated skin there.
I spot his striped shirt laying beside my feet. I pick it up and press it into his hand. He stares at it for a moment before pulling it on. When his face re-emerges I notice that it's still tinged pink but not as much as before. He really is embarrassed by my teasing and deep down, I find immense pleasure from it.
We stand a foots length apart watching each other for a minute in pure silence. I sense the mood switch almost immediately and a feeling of dread burrows it's way into my chest and stomach.
“When are you leaving?” I ask the question suddenly burning at the forefront of my mind.
His hair covers my view of his face as his head drops, “Tomorrow,” he sighs.
“Oh,” I sound, as if I didn't have a gut feeling already, “So, no staying tonight?”
He looks up at that and steps forward to cup my face in his hands.
“I'm afraid not. I'm not even supposed to be here right now,” his lips curve for a split second, “I packed earlier so that I could come see you.”
I smile as well, but it's not as genuine as I'd like it to be.
“When do you have to leave then?” My heart collapses in on itself.
I don't want him to go. Why did I have to fall for someone I can only have in fleeting moments?
“Hours ago.”
His hands leave my face and find my wrists. I'm pulled to the window where he stops to sit. He pulls me down beside him and I turn my body so that we face each other with the glass panel to my left and my legs intertwined with his.
“Do you sit here often?” His eyes are gentle as he loops upon me.
I nod my head, “A lot actually. I like to read whenever I have the chance.”
“Will you sit here whenever I can call you at night?” His hand grabs ahold of my ankle.
“You know that night time for me will be super early morning for you, right?”
“Of course I do.” He responds without hesitation.
“You need to sleep as much as you can”
He sits up straight, “I will, don't worry. I just need to call you even if it's only to hear your voice and tell you goodnight.”
It takes all of the willpower I have not to melt into a puddle of mushy feelings onto the floor. However strong I may be the keep from fainting from such an overwhelming feeling of love, I can't control the few tears that glide down my cheeks and drip onto my shirt.
I'm ridiculous, really. I may seem like a strong, independent woman on the outside, at least I hope that's what others think of me, but the real me is malleable and soft. Even the tiniest things can penetrate my falsely-thick skin.
Do I just accept that some crazy, weird, teenage girl hormonal shit is happening inside of me?
The sound of air being pulled roughly through teeth pierces my tumultuous thoughts.
Jimin has his hand in his hair, keeping the dangly front pieces from hiding his almost flawless forehead. His eyes are watery, but not like mine. He seems to be having an inner struggle with himself, based on the tense set of his usually relaxed lips.
“I'm sorry, Anna. I know this is all…….crazy.” He leans forward to wipe the tears from my face with his thumb on one side and the back of his hand on the other, “You feel it too, don't you?”
Oh, I feel it. But does he really feel the same? The same crushing weight that has me  emotionally on edge 24/7.
“Yes,” I murmur, avoiding his eyes out of shyness.
His touch leaves me and we sit in silence for the umpteenth time tonight. Both of us caught up in our own thoughts.
Jimin is the first to move. His form rises from the window seat and ponders over the inspect the few books I have on a shelf beside my bed. He runs his finger across a few spines before speaking, “We won't be back until awards season in December.”
I frown, “That's in three months.”
“Yeah. Then after that we leave again for the second leg of our tour. I know it's a long time, but I promise to keep in touch.” His eyes reveal no emotion as they turn back to me.
I know how long they usually go on tour and knowing them, they will more than likely announce more dates as time passes. Not that it's a bad thing, but now more than before, I worry about his, and the others’, health. And sanity.
And whether what we have will be able to last through just a telephone or computer.
“I know you will,” I say, crossing my legs, “Try and stay healthy though.”
“Of course,” He smiles gently.
A bright light illuminates the opposite side of my bed and a chime follows. Jimin walks around to grab his phone and read what I assume to be a text message. His face is lit by the blue light from the screen and I swear I can see the disappointment in his eyes as he types.
After, turning his phone off and placing it on the bed he, once again, fiddles with his hair, “I have to go now.”
“Oh.”
“My driver is outside.”
I jump up from my seat in false haste. Every nerve in my body wants me to go as slow as I can at seeing him out, but it's going to happen either way. Why put off the pain?
“Um—I’ll get your clothes.”
He nods and I make my way into the bathroom to grab his clothing that I had hung up earlier to dry. As expected, they are still sopping wet, so I bundle them as best as I can in case anything is still dripping.
When I return with the wet clothing in my arms, I display the best apologetic face I have, “I should've offered to dry them downstairs at the laundromat but I wasn't thinking straight.” I place the clothes in his arms.
“Let's make a deal,” he says, pulling the shirt out of the bundle and handing it back to me, “If you let me keep this on,” He grasps at the striped shirt he currently sports, “I'll let you keep this wet shirt.”
“Well that shirt is yours anyways…..” I laugh, taking the shirt.
“I'd actually leave it with you, but I don't want to go back into the rain shirtless. So keep that one.”
“Why do you want me to keep your shirt so bad?” I cock my head to the side and place a hand on my hip, the bratty side showing its face again.
“I like the idea of you in my clothes. My girl, in my clothes.”
“Your girl?” I swallow.
“My girl.” He hums and pulls me into his arms, dropping the clothing onto the floor causing a resounding thump.
Just about the same noise my heart makes.
“So…...are we……” My lips shut as I realize what I'm asking.
“What?” His teeth peek out from behind his lips as he smiles.
“Nevermind,” I shake my head and lay it on his chest.
He runs his hands through my hair and tilts my head up to gaze into my eyes.
“Anna. Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes.” I answer, embarrassingly fast.
The eyes I've loved for years look down at me in admiration.
“My first girlfriend,” His smile is so wide and bright, I can almost feel the light illuminating my face.
For a second I'm heartbroken that I can't say the same. I've had boyfriends before, none as serious as this by a long shot. But there's something about 'the first’ and I wish I could share his joy in that.
It all seems insignificant though when his lips touch mine.
•••
The whole night seems like a blur now, as I sit in my window seat, watching the spot where his car just was. I try to ignore the ache taking over my chest, knowing that I will only see him through a screen for the next 3 months at least. At least I will see him in some form or another, I tell myself.
It doesn't work.
I fall onto my bed and mope into the pillow that still smells like his shampoo. Looks like I'm not washing this pillowcase for a while.
Does that make me weird? I think to myself
Maybe I'm just in love.
Right as I'm finally falling asleep, my phone dings.
I open the newly-downloaded app, Snapchat and click Jimin's message. A picture pops up of me asleep against his chest with text that says ‘I have the world's prettiest girlfriend’.
Fuck. How am I going to survive this.
