This is likely going to be two for DT17 and two for DT87 since John is pretty up in the air on 17 and his introduction in 87 with the comic about the relic/treasure race was... fine?

With how old school John is and being from around the time period as Scrooge and Goldie, it’s pretty likely that he too would also be wise with how he uses his money. Perhaps he wouldn’t be too thrifty with it like Glomgold (since well, Glomgold kinda stole that part from him), but it’s funny to think of an extra duck in the Billionaire’s room that isn’t so keen on playing the traditional staring contest and the like. Maybe a game of cards, or some of the other activities would have him be giving Scrooge a change of pace in competition with his monetary rivals.

After the F.O.W.L./Chaos God mess rolls over, John is probably going to try and be a more modern business owner for once. Given how being perpetually frozen in ice was rather unnerving, he’d like to at least make it big now that he has time on his hands and something to shoot for, but only in what industries could he find success in....? Maybe something that has to do with a well used resource, or the production of a new one that would be more ecofriendly might do the trick? That sounds like something Scrooge would want to challenge him in.

For DT87′s continuity, we all can’t deny that there’s definitely going to be some bungling between John and Scrooge over the most trivial of things, and it’s likely going to be up to Jeeves and Duckworth to get them out of perilous predicaments or to give them advice that might kickstart ideas and schemes. And it certainly wouldn’t be bad to see both Scrooge and John speak towards the public on television or live recording when it comes to debates, items of Duckburg, or just maybe very, very expensive and exclusive classes on financial management. Flintheart would probably join in if he doesn’t have to do any time in jail.

With the ever increasing threat of weird things and oddities coming by Earth, it’s most likely that both ducks have their facilities prepared with some sort of defense against those things that would commonly be known to appear in the area. It’s also likely that neither of them will try to have their subsidiaries based in St. Canard as that happens to be pretty... shady ground for a lot of crimes and that’s bad for business. Perhaps Cape Suzette or Spoonerville is better?
