I also collect antique/vintage pictures that I find at antique stores or have been given to me! I’ll show a few of those because they are my prized possessions (and bc I promised to show you forever ago and forgot 😩). I’m planning on putting more on my wall this weekend :)

I really love your Azalea fics. I read your Mammon economy fic and another one shot and they were chef's kiss. I want to thank you for writing such wonderful angst. It always brings me great comfort. I was wondering if it was possible to make a masterlist just for her stories? I found one miraculously in my feed and I have read like 4 overall, but they were all out of order. I checked your masterlist from 1-4 but I was a bit lost. I'm new to tumblr but I apologize for being a dumb ass 😅 Also, I'm an only child, but I could still feel her pain. I always ended in tears from the few fics I read. I know Azalea ain't a saint, but Mammon's attitude is very frustrating. Every time they take a positive step forward, he always messes it up. Arella was frustrating too, but in I think I'm okay she finally seemed to understand the situation better. Since I haven't read everything, I may be missing details, but it's very frustrating how Mammon always remembers everything that has to do with their sons. Cyrus is understandable of course. But even so, he defends them when they don't have time to for example, babysit Mahlon, but of course Azalea is a brat for not wanting to because she has nothing important to do 🙃 Do you have plans for more Azalea fics? Will Mammon finally get his shit together and stop making excuses for forgetting his promises to his daughter and treat her equally like he does with his sons? I hope he does. Funfact: Azalea was the first out of the next gen characters that I ever made and even some of her mother’s traits came out of that initial draft for Azalea’s design. Idk if you could tell but she immediately became my favorite to write for out of the lot of them as her character is far more fleshed than any of her brothers or cousins.

As far as the rest of your ask goes especially in regards to Mammon and his treatment of his daughter. I want to write their relationship getting better due to my own need to have that parent-child reconciliation but because I currently have and have always had a shitty relationship with my own father, it just never seems like a genuine resolution and feels… fake-for lack of a better term.

You know what they say, write from experience, or something along those lines

Also i do want to kinda clarify that Mammon’s not solely responsible for how he treats Azalea over her brothers as she doesn’t communicate her own schedule with him since she just doesn’t trust her father- and to a certain extent her mother- with that information anymore. Like he’ll text her to find out what’s going on in her life and she’ll just straight up leave him on read. Mammon and Arella can’t plan around or take into consideration a schedule they don’t know and that’s where alot of this comes from.

5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?

Not to be boring and predictable, but it would be my main OC Ameer. He’s certainly the OC I’ve put the most time and thought into, as he is a main character in my fanfic. I love him a lot, and I’ve put a lot of effort into his character arcs, his personality and his relationships with other characters, so he’s certainly the obvious choice for the OC that I would pick to be known! But if I have to answer this question on Hard Mode and NOT pick Ameer…it’s a tough one because I think I would pick my OC who is currently known as The Mysterious Woman. But the problem is, I can’t really talk about why because it’s a secret!! 😂 I will say that I do enjoy writing her and I’m excited to show her off more!

To be honest I’m not sure if I could just name one!! What I really enjoy about being in the witcher fandom is seeing all the different OCs that people make – I think the fact that the witcher world is very vast and interesting gives opportunities for a lot of very interesting, diverse and unique OCs!! So one of my favourite things is getting to see all the really great OCs people have thought up of – there are some really great designs, backstories and characters out there, it’s hard to only pick one!! (Of course, all the OCs from elizabethoarts are lovely!! 🥰🥰 Admittedly I am biased towards those with pretty hair like Lizzy ahahaha)

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)

Again, not to be boring but Ameer means a lot to me. It’s very strange to me to think that I created him basically on a whim when I first started writing my fanfic years ago, thinking “oh this sort of character would be cool!” and now he’s an OC that I’ve put so much time and thought into. Especially because the past few years of my academic life have been pretty difficult and stressful, and maybe it’s cringe but working on my silly little fanfic was a very important source of fun and enjoyment for me, and Ameer is a very big part of that. I’ve enjoyed writing his character so much and developing his arcs, so even when I was in the middle of nowhere stuck on stressful placements, it was always nice to have this familiar, fun character to go back to, and who I’ve come to love so much. Thinking about it, I first got the idea of Promises to Keep in about 2018, and then started posting it in 2019, so that’s quite a few years he’s been bouncing around my head!! His character also gave me an opportunity to work through some of my feelings with being very anxious, in the sense that I was able to realise that it’s not something I should feel embarrassed or ashamed about. So yeah, he means a lot to me!! My Fox Son 💖💖💖

I’d say that Gwenllian also means a lot for a bit of a simpler reason – I made her before I fully realised some Things™️ about myself, so then looking back now that I have realised those Things™️, I appreciate her even more ahaha!!

Eight!

First impression:

My very, very first impression of Eight was “Oh, he’s the ‘romantic’ Doctor,” because I saw the clothes, the wig, the TARDIS design, and the intense, serious stares in his promo photos. I kept thinking, “They could have just cast Alan Rickman,” which is hilarious in hindsight. 😂 It was super evident to me that they were going for a Classic British Hunk type of character and at the time — when I was mainly absorbing Nine and Ten content — I found that… jarring.

Impression now:

In all seriousness, he has genuinely become my favorite Doctor. He’s sensitive but volatile, sometimes isolated but innately fascinated with the universe and the beings in it, and he’s ultimately quite alien, all of which is, to me, essential to being the Doctor. Mostly, I love that he can snap from soft to screaming in less than a second; it’s a character choice that I find gripping and it uses Paul McGann to his best advantage.

In the audios: I mean, basically everything he says and/or does?? But if I had to choose, I’d say the conflict between Eight and Zagreus and then his big scene with Charley. Also, Scherzo as an episode?? Okay, fine, I admit that I can’t choose and I’m also shippy garbage.

It took me, like, thirty minutes to conclude that I have too many ideas, and the essence of all of them is just Rose Tops Eight. So, that’s my big pitch. That’s my concept. Rose Tops Eight. (SOMEBODY LET BILLIE AND PAUL WORK TOGETHER, THEY’D BE BRILLIANT.)

Unpopular opinion:

I don’t think I have any opinions on him that are truly “unpopular” because my experience with Eight has been so shaped by Tumblr and the DW/BF community, but… I do think that Eight’s prescience/time sensitivity is underused in the audios. I want to hear him predicting off the wall shit! Just… complete prophecies out of nowhere!! That would have been cool and it feels like a missed opportunity. (Although, I haven’t listened to all of the Eight audios, so maybe he gets to do it more in the future.)

Favourite relationship:

Eight and Charley!!! Their friendship is SO GOOD, their flirting is iconic, and I personally wish that Charley could have just stayed with him forever. Like, I don’t think I’d ever get bored of their dynamic.
