What's the most random tv show/media you've ever written fanfic for? I had a phase years ago when I was younger where I was into the Little House on the Prairie tv show, and while I didn't consider it "fanfic" at the time, I liked writing my own "episodes" for it and a few other shows I was into at the time (they were very general, PG rated stories). I knew they were obscure shows and no one would read them, but to this day when I get a fanfic idea, it won't leave me alone until I write it:P

heck... i mean, technically i've really only written fic for spn. i never wrote fanfic for other media before, which is weird considering how old i was when i started lol :'D

but i have written some crossover fics with a couple other things...

In Jeopardy! is the last installment I wrote for the Everything is Subtext 'verse, even though someday maybe there'll be more. Canon case fic-ish, Cas goes on Jeopardy and wins a lot of money :') But... the Jeopardy stuff is all verified authentic to how it works in our universe too (or did when i was on the show back in 2010 lol)

Around the World in 24 Days is the last installment I wrote for the Tumblr Anonymous 'verse, again even if I might someday write more for it. AU Cas, Dean, and friends participate in an around the world race a la the show The Amazing Race. Written during a time when so many reality competition shows were getting fanfic treatment, and I was disappointed nobody else would write this one for me :'D (includes the tag "blatant misuse of an IKEA" lol)

Until I Know This Sure Uncertainty, I'll Entertain The Offered Fallacy 6 way body swap! Canon case fic, but also very very loosely inspired by the Comedy of Errors. but SIX WAY BODY SWAP!

Hurry Up And Wait canon case fic with all the LotR references

Ultraviolet human!impala case fic that's also secretly my love letter to U2's Achtung Baby...

The Terminal Job canon case fic so titled because it's just ~a tiny bit Leverage-y, but not really. but it sort of inspired the feel of the fic.

I mean, all of these are still firmly spn/destiel fic because really that's all the fic I've ever written. Before fic, I only wrote original fiction. Until I was in my late 30's. Which again, apparently isn't the usual fic author trajectory of "i used to write stories based on my childhood cartoons" or whatever. I've been writing since I was a kid, sure, but I just... never was inspired to write fanfic of anything until Dean and Cas forced my hand :')

Hi Lele ! Hope you’re doing good <3 and yeah shippers didn’t get the fact that he have a big platform and mistranslating things ( not the first time ) just to satisfy a ship is kinda harmful when the op didn’t said that, in that context.

Yes he has a second account but he still has a huge number of followers and he continues to mistranslate what a staff or even the mengaka says just for his ship and to please people who love this ship. They don't realize that it changes a context of a lot of things just because it's poorly translated.

and i talked to s-san he had to deleted his tweet bc those fans where attacking him just bc he said that it’s dangerous when you mistranslate things for a ship. which is right.

And the thing that is mind blowing is when for example, if someone says satoru and suguru are besties, they directly say that you are h^mophobic! And says if it were a ship with a female they would never say that! But I remember in SNK half of the fanbase in 2021 was against the relationship of mikasa and eren while isayama-sensei gave more details in the manga about their relationships than gojo and geto. hell even historia and ymir which is f/f were more accepted bc they had more details that they love each other in a romantic way than gojo and geto. for me, who experienced the same with my best friend in the sense that she was my first friend and 15 years later we lost sight of each other bc of an argument. These fans needs to know that there are friendly soulmates and tbh it's a thousand times better than romantics one lol. and if like i want to tweet about it i’m like hell no I don't want to be harassed or insulted.

For me Akutami sensei managed to make their friendship magnificent and I think many recognized themselves in their, myself include.

The worst thing is that these same fans tell you that you don't read the manga or translations ???????? I don't know if Akutami sensei gave them another manga to read but in each panels he wrote best friends clearly ! And when you ask them out of curiosity to show you the translations ? well, it's downright taken out of context and even false and when you tell them that, they insult you too.

i love jjk, love the relation between gojo and geto but i really really hope the manga end this year bc the amount of toxicity is mind blowing.

To be honest, that is the same wish I have; for the manga to end quickly. I hope gege stuck in his way and end the manga sooner than later. I'd hate if he drags the story more and more. The longer the story goes, the more my braincells go from all the drama :")

Honestly I really don't have any problem with Gojou and Getou's relationship, as I said before in this ask. I honestly appreciate how gege draws their canonical relationship but precisely because of that, I can't see them as a ship. However, just like you, my vexation over this particular ship comes from the shippers. I know in any fandom there'll be that some ships where the fans are very loud, but at least I hope akutami-sensei doesn't see this... mess. I will be so embarrassed as a fellow fan if he has to see this uncivilized behavior over a ship.

Although the japanese fandom does have their share of toxicity, I can say that it's very rare for ship fans to attack others. Shame them, probably, lol, if they tag things wrongly. But at least I can find solace from the sideline, unlike the other fandom which cause me headache from just watching them.

Alicent! You poor thing, you did not deserve what life gave u. Honestly so many thoughts are happening bc of Duty and Sacrafice but the two biggest would be Rhaenicent wedding night (fun fun miscommunication and differing expectations) and also the first time Alicent does something that makes Nyra “angry” and how Alicent try’s to placate her and the subsequent consequences of trauma for both scenes.

Oooooo now fun thoughts are happening on my end! A Rhaenicent wedding night in the D&S verse? Perhaps instead of the lucemond one that occurred....(slight NSFW warning from here on out, haha)

If Rhaenyra was as clueless about differing expectations as Luke was in chapter 4 of D&S, it probably would have gone similar on her end at first--checking in, trying to ensure Alicent's enjoyment and pleasure. But Alicent's reaction would be much worse than Aemond's. I'm sure you recall the horrifying scene with her and Viserys in HOTD episode 4? Yeah. She just starts dissociating the moment they're undressed and Rhaenyra puts hands on her, can barely find the presence to kiss her back.

When Rhaenyra checks in with her Alicent tries to smile and offer encouragement, says, No, no I like it, and yes, please keep going, it feels good. Alicent doesn't really know what to do with the stimulation to her clit, it's almost too sensitive. But as Rhaenyra starts sliding fingers inside her, tears begin streaming from the corners of Alicent's eyes.

Nyra just puts a stop to the whole thing at that point. She wraps Alicent in a blanket and says she'll call off the maester, that they'll deal with the ramifications of no mating bite in the morning. And Alicent is so ashamed, feels like she failed her and the whole kingdom, has ruined everything and will have weakened rather than strengthened Rhaenyra's claim to the throne/her reputation. She begs her to just keep going but Nyra hushes her, kisses her cheeks and her hair and holds her. Alicent falls asleep crying into her chest.

IF this happened months/years after the events in D&S and a lot more communication between them (which is what I'm planning on), there'll be times Alicent feels herself dissociating and asks Rhaenyra to do something else or give her a minute, apologizing even after Nyra keeps telling her she has nothing to be sorry about. But in her head she'll still be wondering if the next request or denial will be the final straw and Nyra will ignore it. Or will just find her absolutely too much to handle, or too boring and inexperienced, and quickly lose interest in her after.

Even though Alicent didn't like Viserys at all, it still stung fiercely when he lost all feigned interest in her opinions or happiness just because sex didn't happen while she was later in pregnancy/in recovery from birth or once he got too ill. And that was with a person who didn't care if she was a limp doll most of the time. Rhaenyra will want her to participate, to like it, so there's even more chance of failure. Though by this point they'll have explored each other a little, enough for Alicent to be sure she does want more.

Alicent also has a lot of insecurities about being enough for Rhaenyra in the bedroom as a female omega (poor thing has never heard of a strap-on, but don't worry, she'll learn).

As for the first time Nyra gets angry with Alicent and how she tries to placate her, how scared she is...man, that'd be a terrible, fascinating scene to write. I might add it to my list for future D&S verse drabbles/one-shots 🤔 I might add all of these! Lol.

Initial Three Hopes Demo Opinions

Okay so far I've played through the entirety of the Blue Lions demo content (minus supports and extra additional dialogue tidbits). Spoilers ahead.

I really, really, really prefer this plot to the original 3H plot so far. I think Shez joining and becoming a student makes way more sense than Byleth joining and becoming a teacher. I think the story is a lot stronger with just skipping over all of the high school mystery BS and cutting straight to the heart of the actual conflict.

So far at least, Shez is a lot less of an invasive presence in the main plot than Byleth was. they get their moments, but there's also been a lot of content where they've been sidelined/completely excluded from conversation and I find that very refreshing.

Along those lines, I'm surprised Byleth hasn't shown up more yet. They were in the prologue and seem to have completely disappeared from the game after that. I know they'll probably have a bigger role, but whatever that role is... No idea, unless the other routes have more to share.

Shez being fully voice does WONDERS for their believability as a character. My god. The thirty seconds of Byleth content we've gotten has also done more to establish the whole "emotionless, powerful merc" characterization than the entirety of 3H did (the power of showing, not telling)

I picked F!Byleth. It is very hard to take F!Byleth seriously as a threat lmao. She looks so goofy. Really wish they'd given her a different design. Though I suppose there's still a possibility they will get something, since IIRC the trailers all appear to have come from the prologue chapter?

There don't appear to be S supports? On one hand, I'm kind of glad. I know people were expecting them and TBH I'm not really sure why, since this doesn't seem like that kind of story. Of course, they could always come up later in the plot. Who knows. I wonder if there'll be endings too, or if it'll be more like FE:W.

I'm curious to see how the fandom reacts to the rearrangement of support ranks, since several characters now have fewer conversations with other characters than they did before. The demo only appears to let you get up to C rank, so I guess we'll have to see how it's handled when the game comes out fully.

I'm having fun, but there's a lot of mechanics to this game. Like, almost too many. It's just a tad bit cumbersome and I'm probably not going to end up using a few things because I just straight up won't remember that they exist.

PLAYABLE! MOTHERFUCKING! RODRIGUE! Additionally, no playable Gilbert yet. I think IS heard my plea for a trade offer and took it seriously lol.

I also enjoy the worldbuilding tidbits we've gotten so far. One of my biggest issues with the OG 3H was that they gave you so much info... but almost none of it was that interesting or related to the characters or the story. Like, I don't care what year Loog was born, but you damn well better bet I'm interested to hear WTF Dimitri's life was like before he came to the academy! You best BELIEVE I wanna know that Duscur has it's own language!

Dimidue are so gay. So gay. I love them so much. I think I'm going to explode.

what are you looking forward to the most in the ib remake?

!!!! this is going to be a bit long, and contain very minor bonus area spoilers

disclaimer first: i adore pixel art and at the scale that the game is at leaves a LOT of room for interpretation which is so so so much fun, especially since the whole premise is art gallery, it really adds a whole other layer to viewing the artworks. and i think ppl should consider playing the original before the remake, or at least, i really hope people don't think of the remake as a "more HD" or "better" just because the images are bigger or whatever. kouri himself has said something along the lines of not wanting to have his art outside of the game take away from your interpretation.

that being said..

first and foremost, i can't wait to see the paintings on a bigger scale, perhaps we can get a better idea of what some of them are depicting. it's really exciting to see what kouri'll do with the extra pixels.

for example, this painting in the orange area, "place out of reach". is this a white dove or a person in a white dress behind a heart shaped guardrail? who knows (for the record i think it's the latter but who's to say it can't be alluding to both? white doves, white dresses...).

here is a comparison between the original game on the left, and a teaser of the remake on the right, from kouri's twitter.

i hadn't taken a closer look at abyss of the deep before (never got around to magnifying glass everything like that person above it on the teaser pic lol), so i didn't even notice the two little.. things there LOL. in the remake, i can see what looks like two little fishes the larger fish is luring in 0_0 quite like .... ib and garry heehee. also what i previously thought was an angler, looks like it has a lot longer body than one🤔..

suffice it to say i'm super excited to see if anything will fit with the theoried floating around in my head ^_^.

TWO. i'm so so so so hopeful for new content 🙈 not to get anyone's hopes up but omg.. what if a new ending that would be crazy. but even minor differences would be really fun to see.. already it looks like the gallery rooms here are connected on the same map (?), and there's plaque on the wall that wasn't there before. kouri said that he was going to make the game even easier so more people can play it? already ib is a pretty easy game in my own experience but i wonder what puzzles or mechanics he'll change. also i wonder if there'll be new expression sprites <:-) i love kouri's art.

THREE. literally any new content outside of the game; clearly ib is very dear to kouri, even if he's been posting less art over the years he stil did something for each anniversary. so yeah 🙈 i really hope for more art in general, and omg i seriously hope more merch gets rereleased or just new stuff in general.

i literally need these so bad. also, the infamous mention of an artbook kouri made almost 5 years ago.

FOUR. i'm curious whether ib will be released on steam (since it'll be a paid version) and if it'll have an official english release.. the latter i feel like if it does happen, kouri may contact vgp.erson for that perhaps... or use the names in their translation for artworks and such (the names ib, garry, mary and guertena english names were decided already by kouri so there's no chance of those changing should there be an official english translation). i wonder if i'll have to write a majority of the transcript if it does get one....

FIVE. this could fall into other sections for comparing differences but :-) mary is getting a new theme song so i'm looking forward to that.

ok i think that's enough i'm pretty sure i forgot some small things i wanted to include while writing this but that's ok ^_^ i wanna see how many hours i rack up on ib should it be on steam LOL.
