#I will flood my dash with bh6 content and y'all can't stop me

In the ongoing saga of let’s flood my dash with BH6 stuff for BH6 month...more bird-kids. \.o./

So this is from my BH6/Ducktales crossover Safe in Brother’s Wings (read it now in its entirety on FFN and AO3!).  A lot of this was just some daily sketches, mostly me having fun with different bird-kid designs and expressions.

Starting from the top-left we have:

Boyd, who doesn’t appear in the fic but might in a sequel, and directly beneath me messing with foot designs for him.  Since Boyd seems based on an African Grey parrot, I wanted to fool around with seeing if I could actually draw a bird-kid with zygodactyl feet (two toes forward, two toes back) and have it work.  Still want to work on it some more, you’d think I’d be better at it considering I’ve seen parrot feet up-close for most of my life. :\

Next up we have sketches of Donald and Della, Donald looking a lot calmer than he appears in-fic and Della looking about average.  Donald’s design basically started with me plugging what are the most aggressive bird species in the US into a bing search and going from there.  Yes, loons have killed people.

There’s also Dewey, which was an exercise in posing bird-people and designing tail fans.  The rounded one is most common but there’s a few different versions.

Then there’s one of the triplets mantling, which probably drew from my other species of Chaos Creatures and then gives me a lot of practice...and Boyd, doing the cute doe-eyed thing.  The duality of man....

Lena and Webby on the opposite ends of the emotion spectrum.

Nox and Lena in chapter 61 of the fic.  They were displeased.

Tadashi teasing a displeased Louie, who has opinions.

Bird-kid rolling about happily, random hand sketch, and Della adopting Donald no takebacks this is part of her flock her flight now.

And finally, at the bottom, Nox flying and probably getting ready to tackle somebody.  Drawing wings is fun. :D

Still more to go, but I’m also working on finishing the half-done art pieces too--my goal is to have at least one art piece done for each day of February. :D
