Thinking about the "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs". I obviously strongly believe this is a good way to divide up work and tasks and chores and property and services etc. I've been thinking about how to apply it on a personal level. When struggling to do things myself I've cooperated with others also struggling, and called it this. But I'm thinking I could apply it more to ownership.
I think one way to apply "to each according to his needs" is to think you should only own what you need. Sorta Marie Kondo style, although "need" may include fewer things than "sparks joy" does.
Now with yule/christmas it's best to wish for and buy things that are necessary anyway. Not luxuries like jewelry and a fourth video game console, but things like shampoo, clothes/shoes that need replacing or sewing tools (for mending). And for me I have most of what I need, so I tried wishing for just money to a charity in my name cause like, "to each according to his need". Unfortunately the people around me weren't all that excited about that. I have tried wishing for wool clothes, cause they're gonna be pretty ethically made (although possibly undersold in terms of value) plus long lasting (meaning less pointless consumption and better for the environment and by extension literally everything and everyone).
There's also just, the rest of the year/years/time. I have some stuff to donate cause for example I have books I own that I won't reread. That I'll probably donate or sell depending on things like whether any place will accept them. I think donating books to the salvation army is probably better than letting them rot in my ownership, serving no purpose at all (I won't reread every book). But I just need to figure out where they accept what. Also: what I even can/will give away. and yeah some can be sold, cause like, they're best off serving as many people as possible, even if that just means 2 people (me and the next owner). I also have nonbook stuff but yeah. That's pretty much the same deal. With clothes there are usually more options to give it away.
I do wonder if there are any things that I don't consider like "obviously donateable" that I should get rid off somehow. I was doing a Norstat survey the other day and it reminded me I own and have access to much I don't use at all. So I could probably get rid of plenty of things that I "think are nice", but ultimately don't use. Because how can it be a "need" if I don't use it?
Now I'll say I don't use the harshest way to apply this, which is saying you only need literally the bare essentials like food, clothes and hygiene. I do believe you can need to have fun and hobbies and such. Hence me specifying the "fourth console", being something obviously excessive. If you have three consoles and really want a fourth one you should probably at least sell one or three old ones ykwim? Fun isn't bad, but excess is way too normalized and encouraged. This topic could be expanded upon for ages, so I'll cut this short here. You know consumerism, classism etc.
Also yeah "from each according to his abilities" is a thing to apply. I mean this one is kinda simple to me. But like, yeah contributing both with like occupation (education/work) and generally in communities and socially. Volunteering, doing favors etc when able. And recognizing that sometimes you aren't able to do more, and some obstacles to contribution are immovable and that doesn't make you bad. You aren't "supposed to" do more than you are able to.

My Rants about the 90s TV show Family Matters
I've recently just watched the entire sitcom "Family Matters" & I'm amazed (in a bad way) that when many of us, including myself, absolutely hate Laura, we r immediately referred to as "Myra Stans", but no honey. I haven't seen that many people talk about Laura's BS as much as they love to talk about Myra's red flags and now i just want to get it out of my chest.
I'm by no means what you would call a "Myra Stan" but i hate Laura from the bottom of my heart. Let me tell the reasons why. Many r too blind to see that this biatch is getting away by cheating on Stefan several times. When was cheating ok? And her excuse, u ask? Well, she said that she's confused and got feelings for both Stefan and Steve but is that a good reason to cheat? Absolutely effing not! There's never a good excuse for cheating and leading someone on. She's as horrible as her cheating brother. I thought she was a "goody two shoes", just like her dumb friends turn her out to be, at the beginning, that is. But all that changed, ever since i saw her begging Steve to be Stefan, as far as to ruin his transformation chamber, intentionally, so that Stefan could stay forever. She's shallow, conceited, selfish, fake victim and a gold digger. Why you ask she's a gold digger? Well, she once made a certain comment about how she would marry a guy who would buy her expensive jewelries.
Anyways, this show is my favorite and i admire the good lessons, humors, accepting yourself and loving urself as u r, wholesomeness but many things tried to sabotage this show a lot. I care about this show enough to actually criticize it . 🙂
Some examples include:
1) Harriet being played by a different actress right near the end of the series (believe me, it was so uncomfortable and weird for me to watch Carl kiss and hug a different woman that doesn't even look like harriet at all, even Reginald, Carl's actor, admitted that he felt weird and divorced),
2) then the writers actually took us, the audience, as a total fool, for thinking that we wouldn't notice that Judy disappeared (first, u bring one judy and then replace her with a different actress right after the first episode, but still that was fine by me, since it was only 1 pilot episode and we didn't get attached to that actress like Harriet or anything),
3) then you make richie be a toddler all of a sudden right after season 1 (which feels ridiculous). I know babies feel boring for the show but y bring a baby in the first place then.
4) then u show us Rachel being with one man for one episode and feeling guilty about dating ever since her husband died but again, like any typical sitcom, u make her date multiple guys from time to time without giving any logical explanation as to y did she break up with the first guy or the second, third, fourth and so on (Rachel did seem to have some chemistry with some of those guys too but every one of those guys appeared for only 1 episode ).
5) Next, you make Harriet's long lost dad appear for 1 episode and that's just it. Nobody ever felt the need to introduce him to the whole family or something, of course (and the show is supposed to be showing that family matters 🤦🏻♀️).
6) Eventually, u made everybody disappear (although Rachel and grandma appeared occasionally) and bring an annoying boring ass wannabe kid called 3J. Oh for the love of god, please 🙄😒. U removed judy, fired her because u couldn't have given her any sort of significant role and u thought that three's a crowd but yet u managed to add another male kid? It seems sexist to me, honestly, cuz apparently, all i saw was those stereotypical girls (Laura, Maxine )who r boy crazies, would be fine sucking any boy's lips, Maxine being that typical sitcom sidekick friend of the main character, having an obsessive stalker like myra and other than that, u had no idea of how to write that many female teens. It was either because u were stereotyping female teen characters or you were ignorant and lazy or u just didn't like judy at all to give her a different, non boy crazy role. On the contrary, look at how they made many male teen characters, there r a variety like Waldo (being a doofus yet skilled), Weasel, Eddie (being self centered, flirtatious and stupid), Steve (a nerd scientist) and so many more.
7) Also, they never gave any proper explanation as to y did Rachel left her son and went away, or y did Judy disappear (in my opinion, it would have been amazing if judy was kidnapped in s4 for being a cop's daughter and it was a real tragedy for the winslows but in S9, carl manages to finally find her and that would have been a way more amazing way to end the final season rather than that trash getting proposed by 2 guys). You never even seemed to give a proper excuse as to y did Waldo disappear. Ur just too good at making characters vanish from time to time. And yes, I absolutely despise 3j. He had no purpose in being there. It was stupid and annoying.
8) Did I forget to mention that how you ruined Steve character? And no, it's not because Steve became the main character but because of how he treated Myra. Hear me out. He did say at the beginning that if that "thing" ever feels the same way about him, then he's gonna ditch Myra, right at that moment. But, what type of a selfish, cold hearted absurd offer is that? It's like ur saying that I'm just gonna hang out with u, kiss u up until my crush loves me back cuz I'm lonely but if my crush ever return my feelings then I'm gonna ditch u right there, right then. And yes, Myra was insane enough to agree to that but deep down she thought that she could change his mind, which is not okay as well.
You see, it's not just that "offer" or "condition" that Steve offered but he was a cheater as well. Ugh. He was a cheater because he said that if his crush feels the same way, then he's gonna stop dating Myra right? But Steve was cheating way before his so called crush liked him back and he was already taken by Myra. In the prom, he was kissed by that snob and instead of pushing her away, he actually accepted it (even if that's ur crush kissing u, it was cheating nevertheless). It seemed like the writers had a fetish of putting Laura and Steve into compromising or any sort of situations together while make Myra have almost zero romantic moments with Steve where they r both enjoying each other's companion, mutually. Most of the moments we have from Steve and Myra r where Myra forcefully shoves her face down to Steve's throat, lol.
I could tell this right from season 1, that the writers decided to put Laura and Steve together as a couple no matter what (based on all the situations they were enjoying putting them into). You would have to be a dumbass if u actually got shocked that Laura liked Steve or something cuz certainly although there was no romantic tension between them but the forceful situations that they got themselves into was enough to make that happen.
Anyways, Laura kissed Steve while she was under the influence of love potion, alcohol but did he ever said anything about being taken by Myra or being faithful? Well, no, absolutely effing not. He also got kissed by that french girl but even then he didn't push her away and he literally forgot Myra's name. Ouch. All I'm saying is this series highlights many issues on the surface but has a serious problem of normalizing infidelity.
We r supposed to be believing that Steve is not perfect but has a heart of gold but how can we do such when we have seen him break multiple stuff, and isn't that much sincerely apologetic or anything, for most of the time, then even more importantly, being a cheater. Remember, once Steve was dating another girl, back in season 2, well, what did he do that time? That time, instead of being disloyal, he introduced the girl to some hot guy and then the girl left him. Well that's way more better than the way he treated Myra who was so much into him for himself, his personality, attire and Hobbies. Plus, he was so manipulative cuz everytime he broke something, screwed up, instead of properly apologizing and being humble, he would just use some sad pitiful words with the cute puppy eyes and expect the Winslows to forgive him, everytime and if they (Carl) didn't then he would often challenge Carl to a fight or something. And also, Steve was a hypocrite for being pissed at Myra while he himself stalked the Winslows for so many years, even as far as to go in their bedrooms! (and I'm aware that Myra was a bit more extra, didn't respect his personal boundaries but still, he was a stalker too but it's ok for him to do such since apparently he was a main character. ) Ok, well, enough about Steve.
9) Now, the tramp, Laura. Well, what can I say. I just don't know that what did Steve see in her. She's so basic, manipulative little piece of shit. I don't usually hate characters that much to actually write about my hatred on the internet but gosh she makes me sick. Now she was ok in s1, s2 and I still didn't like her at that time but I also didn't hate her but then I started to hate her ever since the Stefan thing happened. She's pathetic. Her character got ruined as well, thanks to the writers.
You see, I lost my patience when I saw her cheating on Stefan with Curtis while Stefan was working and her telling Harriet that she's not gonna be hurt for being a slut and cheating on 2 guys. Like really? That's the first thing that comes to ur mind? Sorry sis, but ur sick. It would have still been fine if u were a kid but no u were about 18 or 19 years old. Steve went through so much to give u a boy toy but u can't even be faithful to him and then all you can think of when being confronted is that u r not gonna be hurt. Talk about falsely victimizing urself. And the fact that she even said yes to Stefan's proposal at Disney world (that may have happened when she was a teen) but the least u could do is be faithful if ur not gonna actually marry him, duh.
She broke up with Ted cuz he complimented/ flirted with another girl. And that's cheating in her eyes. Well then what was she doing with Curtis, Stefan and Steve? And also why didn't she get the karma of being confronted and y didn't every boy that she ever used just ditch her right at the spot? Talk about hypocrisy and main character pros.
Also, she wasn't just a cheating slut but also a very bad friend. She often treated Maxine like trash even though Maxine treated her so good. Once Maxine warned her about a guy who only dates girls for sex and Maxine, herself, dated that guy, once. Yet that conniving bitch didn't bother to believe her, brushed her aside, made her feel like she's nuts, didn't care about her feelings and then saw it happen right then. I mean, it happened in s2. Imagine how mature Maxine was for that age of not being jealous of ur so called best friend dating ur ex and instead give her advice for her wellbeing. And what does this bitch do as an adult? She fights with Maxine cuz Maxine was dating her ex boy toy, Curtis, ridicules Maxine's ambition of being a beautician. Again, an egoistic hypocrite. Also remember how many times, she told Myra that she's her friend, well, which "friend" makes out with their friend's boyfriend while they are still dating each other? She also assured Myra that she's never gonna have romantic feelings for Steve, but lookie here. Not only did she have feelings but she made Steve break up with Myra. Not defending what Myra did, but her fear of losing Steve and going through extreme measures to make sure that it doesn't happen was really reasonable and understandable, especially when Steve started to live with that bitch and everything. I can't blame Myra for being so insecure cuz guess what, eventually, her fears did come true, unfortunately when she was not even being a psycho (back in the prom) and behind her back. 😢
Laura may have good sides (like the times, she stood up for Steve, being patient with Steve although he was being an obsessive stalker, help Maxine once when she was dating a drug dealer in s9) but it's as the saying goes " everybody has some good traits". So, she may had those good traits but that didn't make her an overall good person. Also about the drug dealing bf, I think the writers were just running out of ideas and that's y they thought of repeating that same type of plot from s2 (where Maxine warns about the guy who dates girls for sex) with boring lame S9 (where Laura warns Maxine about an older dude who sells drugs).
10) now about Eddie Winslow. Well, he, like many other characters didn't have that much of a character development. He was always selfish, shallow, surrounded himself with any random pretty girls, had no sense of loyalty or self awareness whatsoever, always got himself into some big troubles for how much stupid and naive he was, was very easy to manipulate and couldn't make time for his dad, many times, apparently cuz of how much "busy" he was despite being a weak student. I got nothing to say about him except him wanting to be a police officer was so fuckin forced. There was no development for that interest whatsoever. Once, back in s1 or s2, Carl decided to take Eddie with him and show him how police force works or something like that. But he didn't go. It was Steve as usual who went (I also felt like the writers wanted to make Carl be close to Steve than his own freaking THREE kids!). Well that's the only thing we know of Eddie ever being close to be a cop and he wasn't interested at all.
When he said that he didn't know what he wants to do with life, in s9, it felt so relatable for me. I also don't have any goals, am 20 years old, still going to boring college, not performing well as I did back in O levels, and have no friends or anything. So for me, it was a slap in the the face when I saw Eddie suddenly thinking that he's gonna be a cop just by thinking about it for 1 night. And the fact that he just started being a cop and yet got shot immediately cuz apparently the fake Harriet was scared that he might get hurt.
All I'm trying to say is that whenever someone warns someone else about something in this series, it just literally actually happens to them right after a few minutes which makes it boring and very predictable.
11) whatever happened to Rachel's place and Steve and Laura working there? It Was never answered. Whatever happened to lieutenant murtaugh? He was a funny good looking guy, in my eyes. I missed him so bad ever since he left and Weasle. Lieutenant was way better than that boring old captain savage or that other old dude, commissioner. Another thing was, Carl was never developed as a character as well. He was always hot tempered, which is ok but also sexist and it remained that way till s9, like come on. Also what happened to Stefan after he proposed that bitch for the second time? Like where did he go without proper confrontation?
12) Stefan character was so boring. I wish we didn't see him at all or if we did, then we saw him only once and not that many times cuz it took all the amusement of watching a nerd turn into a hot guy. We should also note that Stefan, like any other humans, do have flaws, so saying that he's selfish and that's y whatever that bitch Laura did to him was ok is actually never ok. He deserved someone way better than that trainwreck. Also, remember that Stefan is not a normal human but a clone of Steve, an experiment and so he's supposed to be having way more flaws than a normal person but alas, we saw none of that.
All we know is that he was self centered at first but then Steve fixed him and then he just became a one dimensional character who can only sweet talk people, do cool stunts, recite romantic poems and overall be a lover boy. He could be narcissistic or even be a womanizer and cheat on Laura's back while he was modelling. He could also be workaholic but we barely saw any flaws ever since Steve "fixed" him. He did say though that he's not gonna leave Laura ever again after coming back to her (although it was her who insisted that he pursues his career) from France and being fired from his job but yet he went to Italy. See, I really hate inconsistencies. So, that lie is supposed to be his flaw or was making a simple deal with Myra was his flaw? Who knows. But I definitely am not fond of this character, however, I don't hate him and he certainly didn't deserve all that.
13) Myra didn't deserve that treatment but she wasn't a good girl either. She was infact a psycho and I'm not defending any of these female characters. I only love Harriet, Estelle and Rachel (gotta love Rachel's beautiful voice).
Look, I have to give credit where it is due. So, I give it to the writers for showing us the early red flags that Myra had from the very beginning which eventually led up to the events in s9. But still I feel like things were a bit blown out of proportion or got far fetched.
She did have stalking behavior developing as she got older but we also saw that she was trying to befriend Laura and got stabbed in the back. Laura and Steve kissed multiple times but did she know anything about it. Absolutely no. They never told her anything. Two cheaters flocking together. Steve was kissed by a french girl without his consent but he enjoyed it and accepted it and forgot about Myra. Well, did he ever told that story to myra? Absolutely fuckin not. No wonder she went psycho and put a cam on his glasses. Her sudden extreme personality seemed like an exaggeration, even more, since she started to trust Steve and be a bit more less of a stalker ever since that nude art incident. But yeah, that girl got no self respect since she accepted the condition for dating Steve even though she was obviously not ok with it. I would have loved it if at the end Myra and Stefan dated each other or something.
14) last but not least, this series highlights many important issues like drinking, drugs, gang, gambling, racial issues, coercion, peer pressure and so many other stuff but it also portrayed many harmful stuff in a positive way.
For starters, one of them being, you stalking ur crush and helping them would mean that even if it takes years, still they r gonna fall for you. That's a very harmful message. In reality, most of the time, nobody's crush r gonna return their feelings. You trying too hard to impress them, be on their best side is either going to end up with you being used and taken advantage of and being hurt or you being miserable since ur crush barely know that u even exist and r in love with someone else.
I would have loved it if this happened: if Steve was just single at the end of the series. He dumps Myra for being obsessive psycho and maybe that other bitch Laura may come back crawling to Steve but by that time, Steve had already moved on. He was happy being single and he wants nothing to do with Myra and just be friends with Laura. Nothing more than that. Steve realizes that he's too good to love and take someone who rejected him for years and only came back because they got no better boy toy. Steve realizes his worth, he self improves himself not for being more desirable by women but just for himself. He also never cheated on any women he dated, which was mostly one woman and that's Myra. I've seen many say that Myra should have Steve since she accepts him as his true self but she also didn't allow him to breathe, so I don't think accepting someone for themselves is everything that matters.
Another thing I hated and didn't find funny at all was how Steve's parents treated him. We don't see them, again a common thing that happens to certain characters in any sitcoms, but they did abuse him, left him all alone and then we hear a stupid laughing track everytime he mentions something awful that his parents did to him.
All in all, I really loved Steve, at least at the beginning but after seeing him being disloyal but not held accountable in any form, I don't know anymore. I wanted to love him. He's too funny and cute but writers destroyed him and made him whiny and annoying. I hate the writers so much for these drastic changes and decisions. The ratings decreased for a reason. It was their lazy ass's faults. Not jaleel white's or any other actors' fault for that Matter. Jaleel white pulled out so many characters in 1 series and made it seem effortless. I love that guy. He's super talented and I love Jo Marie's sassiness and that savage strong voice. All the actors and actresses did a wonderful job. But not the producers, writers, studios, whatever. I blame them for creating tension between jaleel and other cast mates and the declination of the plot. I, myself came up with Many interesting things that they could do for s9, so obviously they could as well, if not better but they didn't care enough to do such. They really didn't seem to give a fuck about the audience anyways. Since they were ignorant, they could simply stop and end the series while it was still in it's prime like end it after s6 or s7. Anyhow, I just felt like ranting cuz I love this series (at least the first 8 seasons) but not that many characters in it and mainly because I hate inconsistencies and all.

late night thots 😏:
it's 3am rn, i'm still writing that fic but since it's so heavy on domestic stuff, i was thinking about wedding stuff with ghost.
he's definitely the type of guy that doesn't know anything about jewelry and ring sizes, but he wouldn't hesitate going around asking people. trying his hardest to be all sneaky and mysterious, and to not drop too many hints but legit everyone would see right through him.
but he'd definitely pick the prettiest ring to ever exist. he'd engrave his name inside it - ever heard that quote "i'll have my name burning on your skin for days"? yeah, that's his intention 100%. so no matter what happened, no matter whatever would get between the two of you - he could always remember giving you this little reminder of his love - of the promise he made to you; that he'd always make it back home to you.
he would start carrying a small notebook with him, and quickly scribbling something in randomly - hiding it before anyone could even catch a glimpse of what he was writing down. sometimes you'd caught him staring at you, sitting on the kitchen floor. he'd write a few words down before he looked up to you again - carelessly throwing the notebook away, before he cupped your face in his hands, pulling you down into the sweet embrace of his lips. other times, he'd do it when he was away from you, when he was supposed to be discussing the very important details of the next assigned mission - he'd stand in the corner, not paying any attention to the rest of his group or literally anything but his little project book. soap would start cracking jokes at him, but simon wouldn't even bother giving him the usual "cut the bs, sergeant" death glare. he was too busy trying his damn hardest to write down at least half decent, somewhat memorable vows or whatever you wanna call it - whatever it is, it was never really his thing but he's trying his hardest - for you. the thing is - he'd make up all these scenarios in his mind - running over each one, rethinking every single part of it, and when he'd actually propose to you, he'd just mumble a quick "wanna marry me?" not even giving you enough time to process his words, he'd pull you into a kiss - he knew the chances of rejection were slim, but it was never impossible and he just couldn't bare the thought of hearing it. when you'd pull away from the kiss his hands would be trembling, his entire body shaking - with anticipation mixed with fear, with tinniest bits of the most utter joy he's ever felt. the quiet whisper of your voice - "yesyesyesyes" - ringing in his ears - just about the sweetest thing he's ever heard. oh, and he'd give you that notebook.
he'd definitely buy you flowers each and every opportunity he'd get. he'd never let the old ones wither before replacing them with a fresh bouquet. he would also make a habit of buying you a different kind each time - unless it was roses - he would dare to buy you those more than once. after he'd seen how your eyes lit up that one time when he first gave you a single red rose - he picked it during a mission, tugging it underneath his jacket, which made it wilt hours before he finally gave it to you - awkwardly stretching out his arm towards you, "it reminded me of you" - what a cliche fucking thing to say.

"Y/N's alive?" Sam wants to make sure he heard Bucky right.
The Avengers are sitting around the living room going through files as Bucky explains to Sam what is going on. Nick and Maria took the jet back to the compound to grab everyone's gear and send a team to the old base where they found the files. Stiles, Derek, Scott, and Lydia left for Lydia's lake house a while ago to meet up with the rest of their pack.
"We think so," Bruce states.
"We know so," Steve corrects him.
"You heard what the girl said. She knows when someone is dead, and all the passwords were names of dead people."
Steve gives Bruce a harsh look, "She also said she can sense when someone is about to die. That means they aren't dead yet. Also, we just met her, and we're supposed to believe she has some connection to dead people."
"We also didn't believe in werewolves and yet here we are," Nat mumbles under her breath.
"It was werewolves who took her from Hydra." Sam informs everyone, thinking about the videos he just watched, "At least, I think it was werewolves. They looked like Y/N with glowing eyes and claws and shit. They killed everyone but they took Y/N. Why?"
"Werewolves took her?" Bucky questions.
"Yeah."
"We should look up these people who claim they're Y/N's friends." Bucky states, still suspicious of Derek, "How do we know that they aren't the ones who kidnapped her and have brainwashed her into forgetting us? How does she not remember us?"
"She was three when she was taken," Bruce points out, "Do you remember anything from when you were three?"
"We're not talking about me, we're talking about Y/N," Bucky bites back defensively.
"Does Pepper know?" Sam asks Tony.
"I'm not telling her anything until I have to," Tony grumbles, reading through one of the files on Y/N.
"When is that?" Wanda questions.
"Whenever I feel like it." Tony sighs, running his fingers through his hair in a stressed manner, "She's the one who gave up on Y/N. She's the one who so easily replaced her. She doesn't deserve to know anything."
"She's still her daughter," Bruce points out.
"Is she?"
"When are we going to tell the others?" Sam asks, thinking about Vision, Clint, and their other friends.
"We'll tell them once we get her and Peter back and can 100% prove that she's my daughter," Tony states.
They continue to look through the files in silence except for the howls from the house across the lake.
"None of these files have any indication of where they could have her and Peter now." Steve sighs, throwing the file in his hands onto the coffee table, "All they talk about is the multiple experiments they performed on her. On a fucking three-year-old."
"Language," Natasha mumbles under her breath.
"We aren't going anywhere until we find something," Tony states.
"Why did it take them fourteen years to come and find her?" Wanda questions, not understanding why Hydra would come and get her now, "What changed?"
"Maybe they were too busy with other things," Sam suggests.
"We've raided multiple Hydra bases and none of them ever had any indication of Y/N or Shadow Wolf. They wouldn't do that unless there's a reason." Steve doesn't understand how there seems to be no trail leading them to Y/N. Even before she was originally taken, they were never able to track her down, "According to the files, they took her when she was young because they thought it would be easier to brainwash her and more difficult to break her free. She's an adult now. She's not the same kid they took before."
"Maybe her friends are having better luck than we're having," Natasha mumbles in frustration.
---
"Liam, just try to control it," Scott tries to calmly tell Liam, watching him struggle against the chains holding him against a wall in the basement.
"I'm trying," Liam growls out. This wasn't his first full moon, but he still doesn't have full control.
"Scott, I can watch him," Malia tells Scott, aware that he wants to help Stiles search for Y/N.
Scott thinks for a moment, "Are you sure?"
"Yeah. If he breaks free, I'll make sure to kill him before he kills me." Malia states nonchalantly.
"I'd prefer if you didn't kill me," Liam continues to struggle for control.
"Then don't try to kill me," Malia shrugs her shoulders.
"Malia, if he breaks from the chains, just yell for us. Don't kill him." Scotts tells her, hoping leaving them alone will be okay, "Liam, find something to anchor you or be your own anchor."
Scott runs upstairs toward the rest of the pack. As he enters the living room, he can see Stiles hunched over the coffee table on his laptop he had Kira bring him. Mason is sat next to him reading through some of the Hydra files they were able to convince the Avengers to give them. Derek and Peter are on the couch going through the books they found on Hydra.
"Where's Kira and Lydia?" Scott asks.
"They're upstairs in the soundproof room. Lydia's hoping to tap into whatever it is she does and see if she can find out anything about Y/N." Mason informs him.
"What have we got?"
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." Stiles sighs in frustration.
"Maybe we should just accept that she's gone," Peter shrugs his shoulders.
"Don't even try and act like you don't care." Stiles scoffs at Peter's fake unconcerned persona, "You were the first person here and you've read more of those books and files than both Derek and Mason combined. I'm sure if I asked one of the wolves in the room, they could hear how fast your heart is beating because you're scared."
"I just happen to live closer than everyone else, I'm a fast reader, and I have a bad heart."
"You live the furthest away," Stiles points out.
"I happened to be out getting food."
"What food? You didn't bring any with you."
"I didn't have time to get any because you called me and told me I had to be here," Peter grumbles.
"I told you my sister's missing and that we're meeting at Lydia's cabin. I never said you had to be here." Stiles points out.
"Can you two stop talking?" Derek groans, tired of listening to them argue. They are distracting him from the book he's reading.
"He started it," Peter mumbles under his breath.
"Okay, so these Hydra people took Y/N. They originally took her about fifteen years ago and now they've come back to get her." Scott is trying to think of any logical reason for why they would take her in the first place or why they would take so long to come back and get her, "None of this makes any sense. Did they get her now because they saw her name on the Deadpool? Did they come and get her now because they were waiting on something or waiting for the right time?"
"So, she really is Y/N Stark?" Mason asks.
"Until I see a DNA test proving she's Y/N Stark, I don't believe a word they have to say," Derek states.
"She's not actually blood-related to Tony so how are they going to DNA test her?"
"Supposedly, they have some of her DNA from when she was a child to compare her to," Stiles mumbles.
"You okay?" Scott asks Stiles.
"Why wouldn't I be? My sister has been taken by some psycho terrorist group and the Avengers have come to take her away from me. I bet they have her packed up in a day and shipped back to live with them. I bet they don't even care about the fact that her life is here, her family is here, and her friends are here. Everything she knows is here." Stiles rants.
"They aren't going to take her away." Scott attempts to comfort the distraught Stiles.
"How do you know that?! You saw how they reacted when we were talking about her! How they reacted when they found out she's alive! They thought she was dead! Why wouldn't they take her away?!" Stiles scoffs in anger.
"They know she has a life here. You told them you're her brother. They know Derek's her boyfriend. They even know where she works. They won't just take her away from all of that." Scott tries to reason with him.
"What am I going to tell my dad? How am I supposed to tell him that there are people here who are Y/N's original family?" Stiles looks down at the ground sadly.
"I mean, they aren't technically her original family," Mason points out.
Stiles gives him an annoyed look, "Stay out of this."
"I should probably call my mom and tell her that Y/N won't be at work tomorrow," Scott sighs, pulling out his phone.
"Don't tell her why. I don't want her telling my dad anything." Stiles states.
"She won't tell him anything."
"I also want to be the one to tell her what's going on. I mean after our mom died your mom kinda became our mom, especially for Y/N. Our dad did his best but didn't know how to handle things when Y/N started becoming a woman. Your mom was always there for her. She shouldn't find out about everything over a phone call." Stiles explains.
"I think I found something." Mason states, reading back through the paragraph he just read, "You said Lydia heard her name in the fire, but she thinks that she might've heard it earlier at Derek's apartment, right? She didn't know it was Y/N's name because it sounded like it was underwater, right?"
"Yeah, that's right," Scott answers him.
"I think they have her at Crater Lake."
"Where?" Stiles asks with a confused look on his face.
"Crater Lake National Park. It's in Oregon. My family and I went there once on vacation." Mason informs them.
"I'm still not following."
"Crater Lake is the deepest lake in America. It was formed after a massive volcano eruption which also led to the collapse of the volcano. Lydia heard her name underwater, it's a massive lake. She heard her name in the fire, it's summer which means it's fire season there. Hydra even used to have ties to Portland." Mason explains.
"I still don't understand how this means they're holding Y/N there," Stiles states.
"In these files, they keep mentioning how they are waiting on a wizard or that the wizard isn't ready yet. I don't think they're talking about an actual person. They're talking about Wizard Island."
"Again, not helpful." Stiles is getting annoyed that Mason won't just get to the point.
"Wizard Island is the biggest island within Crater Lake. It's even nicknamed the Witches Cauldron which is also mentioned several times." Mason explains.
"Are you sure about this? We don't want to go somewhere and she's not even there." Scott states.
"At least it's something. We can go tell the Avengers and we can jet over there and at least see if she's there. I've got a gut feeling about this and it's telling me that I'm right." Mason tells him.
Derek angrily stands up off the couch and starts to walk towards the front door, "Grab your stuff. Let's go get my girl back."

LO Aphrodite redesign 💌
| Persephone | Apollo | Ares | Aphrodite |
Where do I begin? 🤔
Original LO Aphrodite didn't have much going on? I don't even know what to say about her, she's kind of a bitch and that's it I guess. Her design is disappointing for someone who's supposed to be the goddess of beauty.
On my take:
Aphrodite is one of Apollo's best friends (just after Hermes), or at least she thinks so. She definitely does not hang out with Apollo because she likes him, it's more out of pressure. Pressure to be popular, pressure to be liked, pressure to be powerful, things she knows will come more easily for her if Apollo is on her side. Unfortunately, Apollo is fully aware of that, he knows she's a fake friend like many of his, he's the god of truth, he can tell.
Their friendship is kinda like Thetis and Minthe's friendship?
"They're BFFs!! Wait no, now they're trying to ruin each other's lives... Just kidding, they're friends again!". The difference is that Aphrodite knows, she just pretends she doesn't.
Now, don't get me wrong, she's not just sitting around hoping that Apollo will help her in her future. She fights for what she wants, and does it pretty hard, actually. The thing is, she has some kinda bad self-worth problems, for being constantly treated like a pretty girl and nothing more. She seems hella confident on the outside, but... she isn't really? It's more a facade than anything.
If all that wasn't enough, she's also in an unhappy marriage with Hephaestus by the influence of Hera, I'm not going to get into much details, we all know what happens next.
For her design, I really went with a Barbie vibe. The blonde long hair, the makeup, the trendy clothes, the nice jewelry, perfect nails and all.
Speaking of jewelry, I replaced her magical... belt? (I don't remember the exact name) for a necklace. She's not much into pants, let's put it like that.
Overall, I really liked the result 💕
Everyone feel free to share your ideas and opinions, I love to hear it 👉👈

Part two of Receiving Gifts!
(This is seriously way longer than it should be)
-
They were fifteen, when Ran received her third sentimental gift from him.
It was a single red rose.
School dances were never her thing. They were loud, crowded, and a little awkward. But of course, having the Suzuki Sonoko as your bestfriend also meant going to hoards of parties and events and a 'no' is unacceptable. It was also a school requirement that made Ran ultimately agree.
She wished she didn't.
Literally everyone was dancing on the dancefloor, leaving her and a couple of other people on the side, glancing at each pair with a tinge of jealousy. Even Sonoko was enjoying herself swaying back and forth with a handsome stranger!
Ran was by no means confident about her looks but being told that you're pretty growing up made her at least believe that she wasn't unattractive.
She also wasn't dense nor blind not too see boys walking towards her but stopping midway. She could be the one to adjust and meet them but something in the suggestion didn't feel right.
So, instead of dwelling over her lack of companion and dance partner, Ran decided to content herself with the event's buffet table and swallow the bitter taste in her throat with food.
That was her supposed plan, until a red rose appeared right in front of her. Slowly backing away, Ran met the brave stranger, in the form of her other bestfriend.
"Shinichi?" astonished, she blinked hard to make sure he wasn't a figment of her envious imagination. Opening them again and seeing him wearing a black suit that, suits him very well, she was convinced.
Finally getting her grip, she asked, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be working on a case right now?"
He grinned proudly and sported a dreamy look, Ran already guessing what he was about to say.
"Finished early, what can I say? I'm highschool detective Kudo Shinichi, saviour of the police force." she rolled her eyes, as if they were swayed by his cockiness filling the atmosphere.
"Okay, highschool detective Kudo Shinichi," Ran teased, quoting his name in the air, "you didn't answer the question. Why are you here? You don't like stuff like this, right?"
One of the things they had in common would be their dislike at events that requires too much unecessary energy to expend. Shinichi, of all people, never liked wasting energy unless it's soccer or mystery. Seeing him attend a school event just to dance was a ridiculous notion.
The high school detectives' grin faltered, sharp eyes avoiding hers. A beat passed until he finally answered.
"I got nothing else to do. I'd rather attend the school dance than actually make the project anyways." Ran silently agreed. Going to the event would be a lot more tolerable than the substitute project.
"And besides, like I'd let anyone here dance with you..." due to the new music starting, she was unable to hear his words.
"Sorry, the music was too loud, what did you say?" Shinichi smiled rather falsely, before slightly waving the red rose around.
"I said, do you wanna dance? Since you looked a bit too lonely back there." he jested, earning him a glare. Nonetheless, Ran accepted both the rose and his hand, feeling a little conscious how it perfectly fit hers.
Upon reaching the dancefloor, she immediately tried to touch him, gripping his well toned shoulders rather tightly. He winced.
"Ease up, we're going to dance, not do karate." he tried to lighten the air, only to receive another tight grab, this time, the hurt was intentional.
"Shut up," Tentatively easing her hold, she complained, "I'm new to this."
Fingers quivering ever so slightly, Ran figured she had to calm down. Breathing with a pattern and sighing heavily seemed to do the job, with the hands resting on his shoulders loosening, gentle unlike the first time. The fifteen year old made sure to keep her eyes stuck at the ground, afraid to get lost in her companion's dangerous eyes.
As Ran found her spot, it was Shinichi's turn to have a hard time. His hands stayed at his sides, fidgeting and sweating in panic along with confusion where to hold. His gaze went to her slim waist, but restrained himself from moving. Thankfully, her voice broke him out of his dumbfounded reverie.
"Shinichi? What are you doing?" she looked up, impatient and getting a little awkward. This is why she hate school dances!
"O-oh, right." Cautious and unsure, the young detective softly held both sides of her waist, making Ran internally gasped at the electricity she felt. Sensing her hands tensed on his shoulders, he waited. But there was no punching or kicking that transpired, making Shinichi more confident and firmed his grasp.
Then, as the new music played, both teenagers swayed slowly, trying. She noticed that his head was pointed upwards while hers was glued at their shoes. It was honestly a bad position, eventually having one of his foot hit her own.
"Ow," she quietly yelped, resounding with his "Oh, sorry!" making her perk up while his head bobbed down, causing deep blue and light violet to finally clash. Time stopped as both couldn't move, too busy staring at each others' colors, drowning.
Until, Ran laughed.
Shinichi, still dazed and not getting what was funny, raised an eyebrow. "What?"
She giggled, amused at his skeptical expression. "I mean, you're supposed to be the great Kudo Shinichi who knows everything. But," knowing her next line would annoy him, she flashed a smirked, " who knew you can't even dance?"
Sure enough, the great detectives' face warped from bafflement to offended in span of a few seconds.
"I'll have you know I dance very well," he scoffed, voice lowering and confidence wavering the next. "I just need adjusting, that's all."
Ran shook her head for his lame excuse, giving him a challenging stare and a teasing smile. "Show me then."
Never the one to back out from anything, he tightened his hold on her waist and answered her with a smirk as a sign of acceptance. "Then show you, I shall."
The ice finally broke.
And that was how her night turned out. Both bickering and arguing dumbly while swaying back and forth, the dance absolutely messy and sloppy. But, it didn't change how their smiles were wide and fond as they gaze upon each others' orbs, how their steps were light and sweet making others glance in envy, and how the color of their faces were comparable to the single flower Ran was holding the entire time.
Compared to the other two, the rose was a simple gift. But for Ran, it was more than that. It held value no other material can have. It was her witness. Witness to her first dance, with her first love. And for Ran, no other flower or any amount of roses could ever replace that.
-
The memories of his unforgettable gifts come back to her like they just happened yesterday.
Now, they are currently seventeen when Ran receives yet another special gift.
There, he stands on the stairway of the Detective Office they both had so many memories with, bringing her another present.
No, he isn't carrying another stuff animal that alleviates her loneliness, he didn't tame a cat just because she wanted to adopt it, and there is not a single rose or flower he can possibly offer her.
He holds nothing. Not even a piece of jewelry or a handwritten letter. Instead, he wears a dirtied jacket, a shirt brimming with red blood, and an entire body covered in bruises, cuts, and gashes.
He looks tired and worn out, but he still manages to smile so victoriously, making her heart flutter once more.
She hugs—no, pummels him to the ground, not caring if anyone sees. She tugs and cries on his shirt, but tenderly touches and caresses his wounds. He encircles his arms around her small frame after recovering from the shock her action brought. Then, bringing his teared lips to her ears, he whispered.
"I'm here now."
She smiles, knowing that finally, finally, he means it.
"Welcome home."
Despite the lack of an object or animal or plant, tonight, Ran receives the best gift she could ever ask for.
Him coming back to her, permanently.

Enchanted: Part of Your World #1
"Can you do me a favor, sweetheart?"
Fiona Seville was on the phone with her father Dave as she sat on the couch in her apartment. Her frizzy hair was a slight mess as she adjusted her legs. "Y-Yeah, of course, Dad."
She could hear him sigh on the other end of the phone, along with a cough. "I was supposed to go to a benefit masquerade ball tomorrow night. The one that I go to every year."
"Right! The one for state arts programs?"
"That's right. Well... I can't make it this year. I ended up with bronchitis and your brothers have to take care of me at home."
Fiona frowned. "I'm sorry, Dad..."
"It's alright. I was just wondering, since you were closer, could you make the donation in my place at the ball?"
She bit her lip. She was not typically a person to deal with large crowds, but for the only parent in her life, she'd take a leap of faith. "O-Okay but if I make the donation for you, can you transfer me replacement money after?"
"Of course, sweetheart. You have my word."
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
After a few phone calls with her agent, Ethan Blake, Fiona was able to donate money, book a ride and acquire an outfit for the night. She'd spent the past few days looking around for pop culture tidbits she might have missed over the past week or so. She practiced talking to people in the mirror, and she arranged to get out an hour early from work that day.
So now, here she was, sitting in the front seat of a Dryve car in a stunning silver ballgown made by one of Ethan's friends, Addison Sinclair. The driver wasn't much for conversation, preferring to listen to the radio, but she didn't mind.
Eventually, the car pulled up to the designated drop-off point for the masquerade in front of the Sheridan Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, a line of paparazzi along the velvet roped red carpet. Fiona put on her mask and took a deep breath.
Showtime.
Fiona made her way out into the stream of flashing lights, walking toward the start of the red carpet. She only recognized one face in the line of paparazzi: Ana de Luca of Trend Magazine, one of her favorites. She put on her sweetest smile as she heard murmurs about how no one knew who she was, and she prepared for the barrage of questions with a nervous glimmer in her eyes.
Surprisingly, none of them approached her but she was asked to pose for pictures, to which she obliged.
What mattered more to her was getting inside after speaking to both of the hotel's front door bouncers and the bellhop, who helped her find the ballroom in which most of the event was held.
The ballroom was massive, much more extravagant and intimidating than Fiona could have ever imagined. It felt like she was walking around in a fish tank full of people.
It terrified her.
"This place is pretty cool, isn't it?" A young man in his early twenties asked her confidently. "Definitely better than my prom."
Fiona smiled, the conversation alleviating some of her nerves. "Yeah, it's beautiful in here."
"Is this your first time going to this?"
"Yeah."
The man gave an understanding smile. "Me too. I'm Chadley."
"I'm Fiona." She fixed her hair and her mask, shifting her remaining nerves into movement.
Chadley smiled. "Do you want to go get something to drink?"
Fiona nodded back at him. "I'd like that."
The two made their way over to a table with refreshments, Chadley immediately going over to the flutes of champagne. "Bubbly?"
"No thanks." She tried looking for other drinks but only ended up finding water on the table. She grabbed a glass and a reusable straw kit, following Chadley.
"How'd you get an invite to this party? Did you have to pass some initiation or something?"
Fiona laughed. "No. Why, did you?"
"Yeah, kind of! Mr. Groot said that I needed to start sharing my brain cells with my kind and jump into a canyon with no braces for my teeth." He said it with nonchalance, making Fiona recoil a little. His eyes widened. "No no, it's okay! My agent Ethan told me that it was his way of saying I needed to venture out of my comfort zone or something.
She sighed in relief. "This Groot guy might need to find a better way to come across with what he's saying correctly... But at least you have Ethan. He's my agent too."
"Oh sweet! He always has the best suits."
Fiona could think of a few other outstanding qualities about Ethan that would rank higher, but she did have to give Chadley that. "What do you do?"
"I'm a film actor. What about you?"
"Oh! Um..." Fiona's cheeks tinged pink slightly. "I'm a barista but I do have this character acting gig. I do birthday parties and stuff."
"That's cool! Do you like it?"
"Yeah! It's fun to make characters on your own that you can help people with, you know?"
"Hell yeah! So are you working during this party then?"
She shook her head. "No, my dad's a composer. He comes here every year, but he got sick and couldn't make it this time. He wanted me to make a donation this year for him, and I'd do anything for my dad."
"I get you. I'm gonna go talk to more people but-" He took a napkin and wrote down a set of digits. "Here's my cell phone number if you need something. I've gone to some stuff like this, I can help you."
Fiona smiled warmly. "You're so sweet, Chadley! I appreciate this, thank you."
"No worries, Fiona! Hope I see you around." He went off into another portion of the ballroom.
Afte watching him go and making sure he was alright, Fiona went to go sit next to the stage. It was sparsely used at the moment, a few musicians tuning and doing mic checks. She took a few minutes to browse her Pictagram feed idly, pausing on a post by the Wilshere siblings when she noticed something familiar about the backdrop.
"Excuse me." A tall male with shoulder-length hair and a beard said as he approached, gentle and calm with his security badge visible on his belt. "I need you to not block the stairs, ma'am."
Fiona blushed and glanced at the stairs. "Sorry, sir..."
"It's okay. Some of the acts are just ready to sound check."
"Right, of course." She followed him out of the way before spotting a pair of blondes approaching the stage: the Wilshere twins.
Fiona was in awe.
The male of the pair nodded to the security guard. "Thank you, Damien." He turned to Fiona. "Sorry for making you find a new wallflower spot. We just don't want anyone to get hurt, especially a charming young thing like you."
"Arthur! Don't tease the poor girl!" His sister strode over and gave a wide, warm smile. "Sorry about him." She took Fiona's hands. "You seem overwhelmed, love. Are you alright?"
Starstruck but true to Avery's observation, Fiona bit her lip. "I'm not used to navigating parties like this."
"I understand. These things can make a girl feel so small in a world so big, especially for your first time at one of these parties." She squeezes her hands. "There's a few different rooms next to the ballroom being rented out for the ball as well. Those might help you find a smaller group of people around here."
"Avery? Your turn for sound check," her brother called out.
The blonde sighed. "I have to go. But you've got this. I believe in you."
Fiona watched Avery go onto the stage, still anxious but more hopeful than before. She gave both her and Arthur a wave before walking around the ball a bit more.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
After half an hour of roaming all of the other rooms, Fiona found herself in one that resembled a casino. It was a bit smaller than the other rooms, which helped her anxiety, but it felt very much like a boys' club in there with the amount of older men. Several men stared at her as she walked in, appraising her like jewelry. Or worse. She did her best to not give them any ideas or pay them any mind.
Unsatisfied playing games with any of the older men, she made her way over to the bar that was for the most part unoccupied. She sat on the other end of the bar, ordering a coffee instead of alcohol because of her need to have a clear head to survive the night.
When her coffee arrived, the waitress also placed a notebook in front of her, a pen tied to the spiral. She opened it cautiously, seeing neat handwriting on the first page.
Are you alright?
Fiona looked up from her spot and noticed the only other patron at the bar: a younger male but still considerably older than her, nursing a glass of scotch in his hand. His eyes met hers, and he smiled genuinely back at her. She pointed to him and then down at the notebook. He nodded in response. She quickly wrote a response after grabbing a pen from her purse:
Yeah. My first time at one of these events. It's a little scary.
She slid the notebook over to him so the waitress didn't have to do it. She watched him write, moving his hand in a gentle and elegant fashion, before he slid it back to her.
I understand. I didn't want to scare you and add to that. Do you want to sit with me?
Fiona took a moment to collect her thoughts before sliding her purse onto her shoulder. She collected the notebook and her coffee, walking over to sit next to him. "Sorry. I-I just figured if my answer was yes, I didn't want to be redundant.
He nodded in reply. "That's alright. I'm Thomas, by the way."
She smiled. "I'm Fiona."
I want you to know I'm a mirrorball I'll show you every version of yourself tonight
Thomas crossed his legs, right over left. "So what got you to come out here tonight, Fiona?"
"I-I came for my dad. He normally comes down here but he's sick this year."
"What's your last name?"
"Seville."
The name seemed to click in Thomas's head. "Ah yes, I believe I'm somewhat familiar. Dave's his name, right?"
"Y-Yeah."
"I remember him. We've met in passing before, I believe. The most I know is that he's a composer. Are you in the music industry as well?"
I'll get you out on the floor Shimmering beautiful And when I break, it's in a million pieces
Fiona shook her head. "Not exactly. I'm a barista most days, but I also do children's birthdays and other stuff like that as a costume actor. Sometimes it involves singing, but it's not the bread and butter of what I do."
Thomas smiled. "Impressive. You definitely achieve the Disney princess aesthetic tonight."
She blushed. "Thank you. You look nice too."
Hush, when no one is around, my dear You'll find me on my tallest tip-toes Spinnin' in my highest heels, love Shinin' just for you
The two could hear the bartender turn on the television, and a picture of Thomas without a mask on flashed across the screen as part of a television tabloid, along with his full name.
Mortified, Thomas partly covered his face with his hand.
Fiona looked at him sympathetically, reaching for his empty hand. "Is everything okay?"
Hush, I know they said the end is near But I'm still on my tallest tip-toes Spinnin' in my highest heels, love Shinin' just for you
"I... I have a problem with fangirls sometimes." He held her hand gently. "I'm sorry."
She shook her head. "D-Don't be." She looked around. "In all fairness, half of the people here look like you because of the masks and everything."
He uncovered his face. "You're not even a little starstruck at me?"
Fiona smiled and shook her head again. "I-I mean, I *do* know who you are now. But... I mostly look at Trend and music industry magazines, so I don't get your exposure a lot."
I want you to know I'm a mirrorball I can change everything About me to fit in
Thomas took another sip of his scotch, contemplating her words. "Well... What is your impression of me, then?"
You are not like the regulars The masquerade revelers Drunk as they watch my shattered edges glisten
She looked at him thoughtfully. "I-I think you seem like a hard worker. You have ambitions that aren't always in the realm of reality, but you try. And you make every effort to keep your private life and your work separate. You think art is a second life in and of itself."
Thomas sat silent for a moment, stunned. "And how did you manage to decipher all of that?"
Fiona's smile hinted at a hidden laughter. "You don't seem like you've sold your soul to any towel rack of a tabloid, Mr. Hunt."
He knew the game she was playing now. She seemed to warm up to him quickly, something that could hurt them both if they weren't careful.
But the angle she was going for now? Two could play at that game.
Hush, when no one is around, my dear You'll find me on my tallest tip-toes Spinnin' in my highest heels, love Shinin' just for you
"You'd think correctly, Ms. Seville," he said with a regal and teasing side-smirk. "However, seems it's my turn to pick your brain."
Fiona flushed, almost retreating from the teasing as her fingers on one hand started playing with the edges of her frizzy hair. "G-Go ahead."
Thomas was gentle as he shifted on the barstool, taking a full look at her. "You are definitely in touch with your inner child in a way I don't see often around here. Not necessarily the innocence, but you tap into that with your curiosity, your sincerity, your kindness."
Fiona shied away slightly at the very accurate read of her.
He let her have a moment to recover before continuing to speak. "I would love to have more time to figure you out fully, to get to know you, person to person... if you'll have me."
Hush, I know they said the end is near But I'm still on my tallest tip-toes Spinnin' in my highest heels, love Shinin' just for you
She looked up at him with soft silver-blue eyes, searching herself for the answer as she contemplated his request. "O-Okay. Can some of that time be without a crowd...?"
He smiled. "I know just the place." He took her by the hand and led her out to an open balcony, pulling her into a slow dance as the door closed after them when they got outside. He led her, one arm around her waist and the other holding her head protectively to his chest.
And they called off the circus Burn the disco down When they sent home the horses And the rodeo clowns I'm still on that tightrope I'm still trying everything to get you laughing at me
She pulled away from the close embrace, moving to hold his hands again. "I-I..."
Thomas smiled, a patient ease to his posture. "Yes, Fiona?"
"Can we have... more than just tonight to know each other?"
He held her cheek. "I would love nothing more."
And I'm still a believer, but I don't know why I've never been a natural All I do is try, try, try I'm still on that trapeze I'm still trying everything to keep you looking at me
In an instant, her lips tilted to reach his.
And nothing else that night mattered for a weightless, ethereal, eternal moment.
Because I'm a mirrorball I'm a mirrorball I'll show you every version of yourself tonight

7 Minutes in Heaven - Billy Hargrove x Reader
WARNING: Mentions of rape (nothing too bad though), swearing, some kissing, and Billy Hargrove
You hadn't expected to pick him. You also hadn't expected things to turn out the way they did. But above that, you hadn't actually expected to even play. One of your friends had dragged you into the circle of teens and you just followed what everyone else did. Once you picked a spot, you noticed that Carol was holding a small box which held an assortment of random objects.
"What's in the box?" You asked your friend. They gave you a weird look, "Haven't you played Seven Minutes in Heaven?"
They gave you an exasperated sigh as you slowly shook your head, "You put something of yours into that box then, once it's your turn, pick another thing out of the box. Someone will claim it, and you have to go into a closet with them for seven minutes."
"Ok..." You glanced around the circle. Your eyes caught the gaze of a tall blonde across the circle. He was Billy Hargrove, the so-called "King" of the school. You quickly looked away, but returned your gaze after a couple of seconds. He was still staring, but this time he smirked at you. Face burning, you turned back to your friend. They were putting their object in the box. You scrambled to find something to put in. You quickly decided on your ring. (A/N: If you don't have a ring, please just pretend it's something else!)
~~~~~
After everyone had put their stuff in the box, Carol threw in a necklace and shouted to the rowdy group, "Everyone shut up, we're getting started!"
The circle immediately quieted. Carol grinned, "You all know the rules. Pick an object, go into the closet, have some fun, and come out after seven minutes."
A handful of guys whooped as she dangled her hand over the top of the box. She smirked coyly at Tommy as she plunged her hand in, swirling around the objects. After a few seconds, her hand emerged. She uncurled her fingers to reveal a small ring. She looked around the circle, "Whoever's ring this is, you get to go first!"
You gasped as you saw the familiar piece of jewelry. You hesitantly took a step forward. Carol laughed and ran over to you, "You get the entire school to choose from, so go ahead."
You took a deep breath and looked into the box. On the top was a small triangular earring and next to it was a bottle of Farrah Fawcett hair spray. You swiftly grabbed the hair spray, hoping for a girl that you could just talk to. Carol snatched the hair spray from your hands, "WHO'S HAIR SPRAY IS THIS?"
"Umm that's mine." Everyone turned to stare at the person who spoke. It was none other than Steve Harrington. He stepped out of the circle and took the hair spray from Carol. You stood dumbfounded as he turned to you. Steve stuck out his hand for you to take, "Shall we?"
You glanced back at your friend. They nodded vigorously. You turned back to Steve but noticed the way Billy was standing. He had been casual earlier. Arms crossed, sly grin, relaxed expression... but now his arms were at his sides, hands clenched, brow furrowed, eyes ablaze.
Steve sighed and grabbed your hand, gently pulling you toward the closet. Billy twitched, seeming as if he wanted to step forward, but stayed where he was. You entered the closet, Steve close behind. The door shut behind him and you were enclosed in darkness.
"So... what exactly are we supposed to do while we're in here?" You began to ramble, trying to fill the silence, "My friend explained the rules, but they never said exactly what we do--"
Steve put his hand over your mouth, stopping you from speaking, "How about I just show you instead?"
Your eyes widened as he replaced his hand with his mouth. He reached around you and grabbed your upper thigh, pulling your leg around his waist. You began to struggle against him, but stopped when his grip tightened.
There was a loud thud as he shoved you against the closet wall. You moaned and closed your eyes as he reached under your shirt and began groping your chest. Steve pulled your shirt off and unzipped your shorts. As his hand began to venture down your shorts, you tried to push him off for the second time.
"What's wrong?" He reached for you, but you ducked under his arm. He grabbed your waist and roughly pulled you into him. You tried to escape him again, but he chuckled and merely pulled you flush against his body, "Why are you acting so hard-to-get? We all know that Hargrove is all over you. Why do you think I actually got into this closet with you?"
"W-what?" You stared up at him in shock. He rolled his eyes.
"The only reason why I'm remotely interested in you is because Billy Hargrove is infatuated with you, but can't get anywhere near you."
Before you could say anything else, you heard loud footsteps approaching the closet door. Steve quickly planted his lips on yours and shoved his hands in your hair, messing it up. The door flung open to reveal Billy. He stared at the two of you. His eyes flashed with shock and grief before switching to an icy cold that made you shiver.
You began to struggle against Steve, but he wouldn't let go. Tears welled up in your eyes as you glanced back at Billy and tried to pled for help. He let go of the closet door and grabbed the collar of Steve's jacket, pulling him backward, "Time's up, Harrington."
You quickly zipped back up your shorts. Billy waited for Steve to leave the closet before approaching you, "Hey doll, you ok?"
A tear fell from your eye as you snatched your shirt off the ground, "I'm f-fine. And please don't call me doll."
Billy scoffed, "Fine but you're obviously not ok, PRINCESS."
You threw on your shirt, making Billy a little disappointed, "I think that, out of everyone, I'd know my own emotions."
"Yeah, but you're not telling yourself the truth." You planted your hands on your hips and turned to face Billy, "And the truth is what? That I was molested by Steve Harrington in a game where all kids do it make out?"
"Wait... you didn't want to make out with Harrington?"
You shook your head, "N-no. He came on to me and I tried to push him away, but he kept coming and there was nothing I could do."
Billy's eyes widened. HIS princess being attacked by HARRINGTON? He grabbed your arm and pulled you out of the closet. He dragged you back into the circle of people. They immediately quieted and turned to look at you. Steve sat next to Carol and Tommy, laughing about something. Billy strode up to him and grabbed Steve by the hair.
"AH! DUDE, NOT THE HAIR!" Steve exclaimed in pain as Billy pulled him up from the ground. Billy released him and snarled, "Don't ever fucking touch Y/N again."
Steve blinked, "What?"
"You heard me."
"Obviously, but why do you care?"
"Because you tried to rape her." There was a collective gasp from the crowd. Steve glanced at you before laughing awkwardly.
"Dude, I think you've had too much to drink. Why don't you go sober up before you tell fake stories." Billy's eyes narrowed at Steve's words.
"Fake? Why don't you ask Y/N if what you tried to do was 'fake'."
You tugged on Billy's arm and looked up at him with pleading eyes, "Billy, please stop. It's not a big deal."
When Billy turned to look at you, you were startled by his expression. Anger was written all over his face but his eyes were filled with some sort of want or... lust. They flickered between your eyes and your lips for a moment before he grabbed the sides of your head and shoved you against the wall.
You shut your eyes in anticipation as he leaned over and placed his mouth directly next to your ear, "You're really fucking hot when you beg, princess."
With that, he bit your ear gently, causing you to gasp. He quickly entered his tongue into your mouth. You fought for dominance, but he was stronger and more experienced. As he explored your mouth, he grabbed your thighs and pulled your legs around him before carrying you out of the room and into the nearest empty bedroom.
He laid you on the bed and yanked his shirt over his head. You stared in awe as he undid his belt and snapped it between his hands.
"I've been waiting to do this for forever."
