Helluva Boss S2 E10
Blind reaction: Do the shorts take place after this episode or what? Because they imply that Blitzo is well enough emotionally to go on missions so I don't understand why he's suddenly so emotionally destroyed.
The ep could've just started with the client showing up and saved a few minutes.
The montage of angered hotel guests could've been cut as well. Millie and Bltizo should have just separated and then the haunting thing could've happened.
The flashback confuses me a bit. I thought IMP had the office and then got the book later, but I guess that was all in the pilot which isn't canon any more so idk.
Another thing the flashback brings up is that even back then Blitzo was shitting on Moxxie. Why? How long has that been going on and why has Moxxie been putting up with it for so long? After his shit relationship with Crim, I'd figure that Moxxie would bail on anyone how would constantly treat him like shit. Sure Blitzo isn't at the same level but being talked down to is being talked down to.
Blitzo is your best friend? Girl get help.
Why is this demon fighting them? Whey does he care about them. Why doesn't he just say 'hey I'm a demon too' and ask them to leave? Its not like either party cares that humans are dying. They could've just lied to the client and got paid. There's no honor system or a way to check.
General Thoughts: This episode was disappointing overall. It has the same energy as Unhappy campers where most of the episode is just things happening and there then is plot and character moments except this time its all in the A plot.
The episode wanted to explore Blitzo's emotional state and have Millie connect with him but it did it in a clunky way. The first part is more for comedy while the second happens because the antagonist is just attacking them for no reason. I don't understand why the fish demon is after them. Sure they're demons and they're assholes but there's no reason that he couldn't've just asked them to leave him be.
Is he going to feed on their fear or emotional instability? That isn't stated. Is he a type of demon that does so in irl mythology? I'm not doing research for this show and neither are most people. If he thought they were humans at first and was doing what he usually does and later found out they ere imps, that would be one thing, but he doesn't react to knowing they are imps, so I assume he knew the whole time.
idk, I'd probably wouldn't feel so let down if we hadn't waited so long for this episode. I hope the next two are better especially if it's the end of the season.
