I love the sexual tension in this scene with my brain reading the t-shirt between them as 'horny':

Dean Ambrose - Request 10
SORRY FOR THE DELAY <3
Request: hey can you do a imagine where reader and dean go on vacation and reader wants some romance since they really don’t have time do to work . but dean being laidback dean is nonchalant and reader gets upset and decides to ignore dean and dean feels superbad about it and decides to make it up to her with the fluffiest thing you can imagine ?
In the months leading up to Wrestlemania, Dean and Y/N had been on the road non-stop. Spending maybe a day, at most, at home before they were off again. Between media, house shows, pay-per-views, commercials, or practice, they were exhausted. If it were up to Dean he’d keep going, but they had missed their 7 year anniversary and Y/N had urged him to use his pull in the company to get them a week off for some much needed R & R. He did just that, and the two of them flew down to Hawaii.
7 years together was a big deal. At least in Y/N’s mind. To Dean, it was only a short time in their forever timeline - that’s how he liked to put it. It was cute, but that didn’t mean that these years didn’t need to be celebrated.
While laying out in the sun, Y/N had been researching some of the most romantic spots to check out while they were in Maui, mentioning a few to Dean including a restaurant that would have music and dancing under the moonlight.
The idea itself sounded like heaven - dinner, drinks, and moonlight dancing with her amazing boyfriend. It was an absolute fairytale.
Once they arrived back to the hotel, Dean showered and went out to the balcony overlooking the water to listen to one of his podcasts while he waited for Y/N .
With the night she had planned, she took her time to make sure every bit of her looked good enough to eat; after almost two hours, she was sure she had accomplished just that.
She slipped on a floor length dress that was flowy enough for the heat, but also hugged her curves well, with a slit up to her mid-thigh.
Dean walked in, pulling his headphones out of his ears before freezing in his steps to get a good look at her. “Woah.”
All these years and Y/N still blushed when she had that effect on him.
“You like?” She asked, spinning around slowly to emphasize the low cut back of the dress.
“Hell yeah I do.” He smirked, smacking her ass playfully as he walked into the kitchen area to grab a water from the mini bar. “All that for the bar though?”
The smile fell of Y/N’s lips as she spun around sharply, to see in his face that he wasn’t kidding. “The bar? Dean - I thought we talked about going to that restaurant on the water.”
“Where’d you get that idea?” He raised a brow, taking a sip from the bottle. “I just want to grab a burger, throw back a few beers, and call it a night.”
Her heart sank as she looked down at her dress, then up at him, infuriated. “Where did I get the idea?” She replied, her brows lowering in anger as her heart started to race. “When we were laying out on the beach and I said verbatim ‘Dean, this place looks so romantic. We should go for dinner!’ and you said ‘yeah babe.’”
“Woah, why are you getting so worked up over this? It’s just food. What’s it matter where we eat?” He asked, holding his hands up in defense, watching as she hurriedly` ripped off her dress, red-faced and on the verge of tears. “... Babe.”
“It matters because this was supposed to be something special for us, Dean! We’ve traveled all over the world, shut down bars everywhere - this wasn’t just another travel stop, this was a big deal for me! I came here for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend. WHO CLEARLY HASN’T EVEN BEEN LISTENING TO ME!” She yelled, trying to hide the tears as she pulled on a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. “All i wanted was a little romance - but i get that’s too much to ask from you. Have fun at the bar.” She walked out, slamming the hotel door behind her, leaving him stunned, staring at it.
Dean wasn’t the romantic type by any means. He had intimate moments where he’d light some candles at dinner or send random bouquets of flowers with love notes, but just once she wanted them to get all dressed up and make a night of it.
He sighed, thinking about chalking it up to weird female hormones but he couldn’t ignore the pangs of guilt in his chest. Y/N was the type of girl to like all that lovey-dovey shit. She’d watch rom-com’s and cry or point things out. He’d worked hard to get her, then it just seemed like he didn’t need to try as much. She deserved more than that.
“She.” He groaned, looking at the picture of a giant sea turtle that was hung above their bed. “I fucked up didn’t I?”
------
Y/N sat on the sand, watching the waves crash on the shore for over an hour. By then the tears had come and gone, trails drying on her face. She calmed down enough to question if she’d over reacted, but she couldn’t help but feel disappointed. She’d just wanted something more on this trip.
She’d heard of all the relationships that failed due to their failed schedules, and the whole thing made her nervous. What if one day the spark fizzled out? What if one day he realized he didn’t want to be with her? Had things started to get stale?
With a sigh, she stood, brushing the sand off of her pants and started walking back to the hotel. Dean was her best friend. Fight or no fight. He was always the one she spoke to when she was upset, and if she was upset with him, then they’d just have to figure it out.
Sliding her keycard to open the door, she was caught off guard by how different the room looked. She peaked at the number on the door just to make sure it was the right one before she walked further inside. Looking down at the ground, she followed sound of music along a trail of candles and rose petals that led into main room which was lit up by more candles.
On the bed, she spotted the dress she’d put on earlier, her heels laid next to it with a small rose. Dean was nowhere to be found, but she could hear the sound of music coming from the balcony doors. Through the glass she could see a table with two chairs on either side and a large bouquet of roses in the center.
Her eyes welled up as she started to realize what was going on. He’d gone above and beyond what she’d even thought he was capable of.
Taking the hint that he wanted her to put the dress on, Y/N slipped into it quickly, sliding her shoes on and checking herself in the mirror before she walked towards the glass doors.
Dean stood on the other side, dressed in a button down shirt and a pair of suit pants, leaning against the railing looking out at the water. The sounds of her heels clicking on the floor made him turn around and his face lit up.
“You’re home.” He smiled, picking up a rose from the table and handing it to her. “I’m sorry.” He whispered.
Y/N accepted the rose, smiling softly as she held it up to her nose, breathing in it’s sweet smell. “Dean… this is -”
“It’s what you deserve.” He replied. “You’re right. I’d been taking you for granted. I know it’s hard keeping a relationship going in our line of work, but you’ve stuck it out with me babe. I’m so sorry for letting you forget just how important you are to me.” He continued.
Her eyes teared, and he smiled reassuringly, wiping it with his thumb as they chuckled lowly.
“Dance with me?” He asked, holding his hand out.
She bit her lip and nodded, looking up at the moonlight, then at him. Stepping closer into his body, his hand wrapped around her waist, holding her against him as they swayed to the music. He twirled and dipped her, never missing a step.
“You are the most important thing in my life.” He whispered. “Without you, there would be no me.” Dean said, watching her intently as he took a step back, digging into his pocket to pull out a little black box, and sinking to his knee. “Y/N , I’ve been hanging onto this for a while now, and I can’t think of a better time to do this. We might fight like cats and dogs, but there is no one in this world I’d want to go through all of this with. Will you do the the honor of becoming my wife?”
She watched him carefully, listening to his words as tears had streamed down her face. “Are you serious right now?” She asked, knowing all of the pranks he loved pulling on her, but when he nodded, there wasn’t even a hint of a smirk on his lips.
“Dean, of course I’ll marry you!” She cried out, unable to control her smile or her emotions.
He was physically relieved and smiled wide, slipping the ring on her finger before lifting her into his arms to kiss her passionately, spinning them around.
“I should storm out more often.” She whispered into his neck, causing them both to laugh.
“Don’t push it.” He laughed.
