Rocker huffs, leaning back in the chair. “He's a coworker,” he begins. “He came over one night after a bad day at work, he was fighting with his wife. He was just gonna stay in the spare bedroom. It was an accident.”

Buck sucks in a deep breath. “Okay, maybe we shouldn't assume-”
