#ugh the podcast version doesn't have a Russian accent#when its established that the captain is russian#maybe this is my own little quibble#but I have such a pet peeve for slavic characters with Anglophone accents#don't get me wrong his voice is good#but let down on the accent front#i also have this slight frustration with the last voyage of the demeter#I suppose you could argue flying under a Russian flag doesn't make the captain Russian#but....I think it is pretty firmly established as a Russian vessel
