concept for an AU idea of Vermin in DnD

Vermin would be of a fairy lineage, her village was aided by a dragon who deemed himself a god (big daddy) and he offered them his power should they worship him. At first their loyalty was won over by his claims of aiding them, tho in reality he was aiding himself and securing a following to grow his own power. Eventually when bribery wasn't enough he took to violence, eating anyone who dared to oppose him.

With the threat of being devoured the fairies of the village simply continued to follow their new deity and soon their society was nothing but slaves for the dragon.

A small army was created to build up the fairies defenses and to protect the hoard of wealth the dragon seized. Amongst them was Veronica (Vermin) who quickly climbed the ranks to be captain. She was strong and cut throat exactly the type the dragon desired but she is using her position to try and find a means to usurp him. Veronica would be a paladin warrior with her main weapons being dual scimitars.

She's tall for fairy standards but despite her still small size she can pack a lot of weight into her attacks. She also utilizes her wings to boost her speed.

Not sure what all will be kept of this for the possible game we're going to play but felt like writing it down cause i like the idea enough and it's a unique AU for Vermin that I hadn't tackled yet Having her be a knight makes sense given her current role as Big Daddy's bodyguard
