periodic friendly reminder that a "trauma bond" isn't a bond made between two people over their shared trauma.
a trauma bond "occurs in an abusive relationship, wherein the victim forms an emotional bond with the perpetrator."
it's more akin to Stockholm syndrome than something mutually formed and worth cooing over in a fan pairing.
so saying your OTP is "trauma bonded" just means you're saying that one of them is abusive and the other is emotionally bonded to their abuser, hth.
