bro Wendell and Wild had no right being that good of a movie
#melon rambles#I put off watching it for awhile because I wasn't really in a spooky movie mood#but I sat down to watch it today and bro. bro#I knew going into the movie that kat's parents were dead so I thought I was prepared#and then the movie was one emotional gut punch after another#the writing/story of the movie was AMAZING#I'd seen some people review that it was too fast or difficult to understand what was going on#but I actually felt like it did a great job of always keeping the plot moving without making it seem awkward or have an unnecessary lull#and then I also ended up really liking the visuals of the movie#stop motion animation my beloved <3#when I first saw pictures of the movie I wasn't sure that I liked how the characters were styled#the exaggerated features of everyone's faces kind of caught me off guard because I've never really seen a movie styled like that#but I ended up really liking it when I watched it#and it's refreshing to see characters that all look different from eachother and don't just have a basic round face shape#also I really liked the music#both the soundtrack and the rock songs they included in there#anyways yeah good film
