One of the things that do convince me that Childe is in fact a slightly broken human being and not just a magnificent monster is his awful posture.
It seriously undermines that whole "demon prince" aesthetic he has going on. The way it's normally used in character visual design, it
1. is a very human trait
2. usually signifies a certain inability to cope with life
In literature (I've never seen it in cinema or games) it could also point at someone being from a lower class while posing as a noble and it does fit him.
It could very well be only the last part but I don't think hoyo would bother just for that.
If he had a perfectly straight back like every other character I might have joined the "he's just having the time of his life and isn't traumatized at all" crowd. Even if he just had a FL-like slouch I'd say "oh hey, it's like his monster form", but it's much worse than that.
He's also a magnificent monster and is having the time of his life, of course.
