we said goodnight and then I never saw you again
#Months ago when Google announced they were/are deleting inactive accounts-#-i checked the emails between my best friend and myself and I noticed that our last corresponding messages was us saying goodnight#We did get to say goodbye 😭#I met him on topix's video games forums when I was 11 and he was 14#He would go inactive for frequent periods of time and when he returned he eventually disclosed that he had terminal cancer#This was rough. We continued to be there for each other and he endured so much#I was to scared to message him when he never emailed me back because I was so scared of not getting a response and assuming he passed#(I had a whole other situation a year prior#where this happened with a long distance boyfriend. I don't know if he ghosted me or killed himself-#Either way I didn't want to relive that)#He really was the nicest and funniest guy I knew#I'm forever grateful that I got that time with him and he trusted me with that information#Loon.txt
