hmmmmm

so i've unfortunately fallen into a new hole of scarian/desert duo fic

and now i have to decide if i should reblog that stuff /here/ because this is my fanfic related acc despite a zero percent chance there's fandom overlap between ST and hermitcraft, putting it on /main/ and potentially alienating my solid ~3 mutuals there despite already talking about minecraft/etc p regularly, or option three: make ANOTHER sideblog so i can keep my interests clearly deliniated and less likely to make people dislike me

#mine #guess we're doing mcyt rpf now 😔 that's where my life is at 😔#tho there is a strange phenomena i've noticed on a03 where ppl will write this and tag it 'not rpf'#i think because a lot of it is like. taking place within the world of the game and like. the roleplay happening there?#which. kind of makes sense? but i always kind of thought of minecraft roleplay as like. more closely related to doing a bit with your #friends than an actor playing a role? at the very least the lines between what's just the player's personality coming thru and a character #become much more blurred as opposed to like. TTRPG roleplaying or like. LARPing #I mean to be fair i'm sure there are servers that go more hardcore with it #But like. He was still acting like himself #In a very showy way that he's always like on camera! which i'm sure is in a lot of ways different than how he acts irl! but like. it's #more of an eleborate system for telling jokes and messing around than anything i feel like?#idk. i should go to sleep. nobody will read this i'm certain anyway
