Helena is just so funny I'm sorry. She's trying to convince herself she's playing 5d chess with Mark but deep down she wants the romance plotline Helly has and then in reality she's a horror movie villain with not enough genre awareness. Every single interaction with every version of Mark she holds power over him and she needs that power to feel secure! She abuses it to have sex with him and hides that information from him on the outside so that she can always feel like she's in control. But unfortunately it means she can never have that full authenticity that Mark and Helly have. She's going to try her best though! She'll give it all she's got and it'll be delightfully creepy and disturbing to watch.
