Yuri's literal pained begging and desperation to get Karol to get out of there and him being so emotionally vulnerable is one of my favorite parts of this game but also of his character.

Added on to that too, the slight fluctuation in his voice when he asks if Karol can do this (since he's been fighting already and is worn out) after he's been proven wrong and Karol saved them all? Just that vocal recognition of Karol's strength mixed with gratitude? Yuri panicking when Karol collapses after (and Rita and Raven worrying so much too)? I adore emotionally vulnerable Yuri because he's so expressive. He's good at hiding his feelings but when they do come out, they're so strong.

Also though, Karol asking "If I don't do it now, when will I ever" just. gets me. so much. because he knows if he doesn't do it now his friends will die and after that? What's even the point of bravery if he couldn't have it when he needed it most?

I RLY love that balance of joking with him #like messing around with him and also vocally treating him like a child sometimes bc he IS #but also knowing when to treat him with respect BUT ALSO knowing when to express genuine care #I also LOVE how Yuri isn't judgmental of Karol being twelve and actually respects that he can do so much #there's this perfect balance of goofing off with Karol and treating him with love and respect #I love how much Yuri cares about this kiddo. I love how Yuri just looked at him one day and was like #this kid. I'm adopting this kid. my brother-child now.#and yes. I love the like. sibling-parent balance. when like. two ppl are far apart enough in age that #the older sibling is basically the parent when neither of them HAVE a parent #Yuri and his relationships basically make this game for me LOL
