Sometimes a social interaction goes so much better than you expected and sometimes it is every bit as dead end as you feared and now your social courage is just Gone
#granted it was in the autism group so like. I get it.#I know many autistic people don't reciprocate questions or keep a conversation going#but Man is it hard wanting really badly to bond and hoping to find connection with fellow autistic people#but it's actually much harder with them because it's entirely unreciprocated#almost everyone I bond with is an extrovert because conversations with introverts go Nowhere#I'm just! sad and have no confidence in my ability to Be A Person tonight. and I'm overly emotional#I know I should go home I'm just having a hard time being alone rn#augh. difficult pride I guess#bien rambles#for context I was with a group today and it was fine until we sat down to Hang And Talk#then I couldn't get a conversation started and I couldn't hear the other conversations either#so I just Sat Alone In Silence.
