Work's being absolutely ridiculous, so please send me quilt or plushie ideas! Puns and pride flags are bonuses but not required, I'm looking for anything like color combos, patterns, suggestions that are more vibe-based than specific color combo based, anything
It's sorta difficult to figure out what level of detail I have to remove in order to anonymize my job, but basically two of the other people who do my job are out, so I'm helping cover for them, but one of their contractors turned in paperwork showing three different dates for when he did [job that should have only taken one day]. I ended up having to call the customer and ask when our contractor did [job]. Thankfully the customer found it a little funny and was willing to answer, but I hate cold-calling customers to tell them our contractors can't do paperwork correctly and we need their help to fix it
#the person behind the yarn#it's been a long day already and it's not even noon#I'm on my lunch break#and usually I have my lunch break at my desk and keep working#and just don't answer phone calls#but I think I might take a real lunch break today#because oh my gosh these contractors#how difficult is it to TURN IN YOUR RECEIPTS#I WANT to pay you but I CAN'T if you don't GIVE ME YOUR DANG RECEIPTS#I know I'm not the person who normally processes your paperwork but I promise I can do it#I am the paperwork checker! it is my job to doublecheck what your usual person does!!#just send me the dang receipts!!!!

Head Over Heels
Summary: It's technically not your fault that you sprained your ankle, but Matt's annoyed with you anyway (at least, he pretends to be annoyed with you — but you know better).
Pairing: Matt x Fem!Reader
Warnings: A few swears, but otherwise just a whole lot of whumptober fluff!
"You're going to hurt yourself."
"I am not."
"I just heard you nearly fall over in the bathroom—"
"Because I'm rushing, Matt, that's what happens when your partner holds you captive for too long in bed and makes you late for work!"
Matt was in the process of buttoning his work shirt, a task that you noticed was taking him nearly triple the time it usually took, because his attention was entirely on you. "No one at the presentation will care if you're not wearing heels, sweetheart."
"I care!" You jangled your keys, checked your pockets again for your wallet, and slipped on a jacket. "It's a fashion thing. High heels equal professionalism."
"I like to think that I'm a professional lawyer, and not once in my life have I ever had to wear high heels to court."
"You're overreacting. I'm like a gymnast in heels. Ready? Watch this."
Your stilettos clacking against the floor, you performed several twirls, rotating as though you were a ballerina. For the first few, Matt said nothing, but then he reached out and stopped you with a firm hand on your shoulder.
"The heels sound like precarious twigs," he said.
"They're not precarious and they're not twigs. They're pretty." For added effect you started to skip by him towards your purse.
"Just — please stop," Matt said, finishing with his last button and gesturing downward. "Walk like a normal person, at least?"
"Don't worry. I wasn't planning on skipping into the office," you assured him. "Look, I'll see you for lunch, okay? I've got to split."
"Twelve o'clock. And also promise me you won't twirl like that during your presentation," he said, and leaned in to kiss you before you left.
It was another of those impossibly busy days when you and Matt wouldn't be able to spend much time together. He was going to be in court the entire afternoon, and you had a major annual presentation for work, meaning that you'd both be out overtime and wouldn't get home until late. The bright side was that you both had an opening at noon to meet at a small diner in Hell's Kitchen and catch up over lunch.
You cursed your high heels as you tried to speed down the stairs of Matt's apartment. They really weren't conducive for someone who was running late. Halfway down, you lost your footing; the stem of the heel missed the edge of the step and you jolted downward.
And, mercifully, caught yourself on the railing.
Knowing for certain that Matt was listening to you and likely heard your misstep — as well as the way your heart was hammering from the adrenaline of nearly falling down a flight of stairs — you muttered aloud, "See? Everything's fine," and continued on your way. Shortly after, your phone vibrated with a text from Matt:
Are you trying to give me a heart attack?
Laughing to yourself, you stowed your phone back in your purse.
And the high heels did work out, for most of the morning. You gave your presentation and then buried yourself at your desk in paperwork, confined to work for the rest of the day on everything you'd fallen behind in while prepping for the presentation. You couldn't help but glance at the clock every ten minutes; noon was going to be the breath of fresh air in an otherwise stressful day.
Fifteen minutes to noon you got up from your desk and made your way out onto the street. The sun was shining, a soft balmy breeze carried the fragrance of blooming lilacs as you passed a small garden, and plush clouds drifted overhead idly.
And then, just as you were hurrying to crossing the street — technically the pedestrian light was red, but you had a solid seven seconds before the approaching car would actually reach you — there was an ominous snap, and you found yourself falling onto the pavement, your ankle rolling in the process.
Well, not just rolling. It felt more like your ankle was jerked down into a direction it definitely shouldn't have been in, accompanied by a soft pop and a flaring of sharp, throbbing pain.
The car that you would have easily made it past had to brake, honking angrily at you, and you waved vehemently in apology as you struggled to your feet — shit shit shit that hurts — and hobbled out of the street.
"Bitch!" the man shouted from his window as he accelerated by you, tossing a middle finger at you.
Usually that would probably be enough to ruin your day, being yelled at by a stranger, but you were much more preoccupied with the stabbing pain in your ankle. Did I break it? Should sprains hurt this much? You stared, stunned, at the broken stiletto that was half-dangling from your shoe. It had simply snapped in half, for no reason at all.
"Traitor," you muttered to it, taking shelter in the shade of a building to assess your ankle. Gingerly you tried touching it, but it flashed with pain as you pressed on it. Inhaling deeply and tilting your head backwards — do NOT cry don't cry don't cry don't cry— you began to continue your way to the diner.
Matt wasn't going to be happy about this. And you already knew there was no way you could hide it from him. You were limping so badly that it was difficult to walk; each movement felt as though you were tearing your ankle again. If you could arrive at the diner first and get yourself seated, then maybe you had a small chance of the injury going unnoticed, but your limping must have delayed you just enough, because you could see Matt through the window of the restaurant — he'd already arrived.
And his head was already tilted in a way that meant, yep, he's definitely onto me, he can already hear me.
"Hi," you greeted him weakly as you walked in, ignoring the fact that tears were spiking in your eyes. Matt was already on his feet, grabbing his cane almost as an afterthought and approaching you quickly.
"I didn't think it was you at first," he said, quietly so that other patrons in the diner wouldn't hear. "Your gait was so different. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, it's not so bad," you said, knowing he'd hear right through the lie, but not caring much in the moment.
"Let me feel it."
There was no sense in objecting; Matt, you knew, wouldn't be satisfied until he'd done his radar scanning of it so that he could know precisely what was going on in your ankle. "Okay," you agreed. "But let's use the bathroom. These people trying to enjoy their meals don't need to see you feeling up my ankle."
It was a single-user bathroom, fortunately. Matt entered first and held the door open for you, and only once it was shut and locked did he abandon his cane and stoop by your feet. You leaned against the sink as his fingers grazed your ankle.
"What's my diagnosis, Mr. X-Ray?" you asked, trying to come off as playful, but it was hard hiding the pain in your voice. It didn't help that Matt wasn't having it. He stood up, hands on his hips, jaw twitching.
"You fully tore the ligament," he said. "I told you that those heels would get you hurt."
"Whoa, excuse me. This was not my fault. I didn't trip. The heel just happened to snap on me, so it is one hundred percent, completely, utterly, not my fault."
"You knowingly wore dangerous shoes," Matt insisted.
"Stilettos aren't inherently dangerous, Matt! They're shoes! I just got a bit unlucky—"
"Unlucky? You can hardly walk."
"I'm fine," you said, a bit more firmly, and tried, recklessly, to do the twirl you had done that morning to prove it, but had to stop immediately because it sent a rocketing flare of pain through your leg. "Ow. Shit."
Matt steadied you instinctively. "You should take the rest of the day off and go to the doctor."
"No way. I'm so far behind in work. Besides, I'm good once I'm sitting, it's just walking that's hard."
Matt said nothing at first, but helped you get from the bathroom to the booth, one hand loosely holding his cane and the other supporting you as you leaned on him. You were grateful for his strength practically holding you up; already your ankle was swelling and walking alone would have made a scene. Still, it earned a few stares from several of the other people eating in the diner, but you ignored them.
"I guess I should clarify," Matt said, only once you were seated. "You are taking the rest of the day off."
You furrowed your brow, outraged. "You can't tell me what to do."
"And I'd really recommend seeing a doctor," he continued, "because—"
"Last week you—" You realized your voice was loud and lowered it to a whisper. "Last month you came flopping onto the bed at three in the morning, gasping for breath because you fractured a rib, and when I begged you to see a doctor, you said, 'I'm fine. Don't worry about me so much.' Don't you see how much of a hypocrite you are?"
"I don't care whether or not I'm a hypocrite, I care that you go to the doctor," he said, then added, "But if you don't, you're at least not going back to work. You need to rest, elevate the ankle, and ice it."
You bit your lip. "What if I simply refuse?"
"Then I'll call Claire and make her come pay us a visit tonight to check on you."
The thought of burdening Claire with having to make a trip out to Matt's apartment just for your sake was enough to make your cheeks burn. "You wouldn't."
"I would," he said. "Unless you at the very least stay home the rest of the day and ice your ankle."
"I can't believe you." You fell into silence, punctuated only by the waitress coming to take your beverage orders. Once she left, you tried to brighten things a bit, because Matt's mouth was curved in such an unhappy frown that it was beginning to stress you out. "At least it wasn't my favorite pair of stilettos. If it had been, I might be tempted to try super-gluing the heel back on."
It didn't seem to improve his mood, because Matt didn't smile. "I'd prefer if you just stuck to flats from now on."
"That's a lie. I know you love my heels," you said, impetuously leaning across the table to grab his hands. "You may not be able to see my legs, but I know you can sense them, and I know that stilettos make them, like, ten times sexier."
"You know what's not sexy? A sprained ankle."
"Wow. Thanks for really bulldozing my self-esteem." You paused. "If my ankle makes me so un-sexy, then maybe I'll just... sleep on the couch tonight instead. Wouldn't want you to be near me if I'm all sprained-ankle-ish."
"You're impossible."
"I have a better idea. I can be bait," you said, watching Matt's expression carefully. "I'll stumble out onto the streets tonight — you know, all 'Woe is me, I've got a sprained ankle' — and that'll attract every mugger in the vicinity, seeing a vulnerable girl alone. They won't be able to help themselves, they'll just be dying to come over and rob me. And then, lo and behold! Daredevil dives in and catches all of Hell's Kitchen's criminals in one fell swoop."
Sure enough, you could see an irritated amusement in Matt's mouth, the type that meant he was torn between smiling and getting annoyed. "I'll agree to that plan when Foggy learns how to meditate for more than five minutes at a time."
The waitress arrived and took your orders. You sipped on the water she had delivered, your eyes not leaving Matt's face.
"What is it?" he said, finally. "You're dying to say something."
"Yeah. I want you to admit that it's not my poor high heels you're angry with. You're just worried about me."
"Can't it be both?"
"Leave my high heels out of this and admit it, Matt."
"Fine. I'm worried about you. Does that make you happy?"
"Sure does," you said, squeezing his hands and smiling. "By the way... did I ever mention that I'm head over heels in love with you?"
"Oh, my God."
A/N: This was just a short piece inspired by two separate asks I received that fit together quite well:
Prompt 1: hi!!! could you do a hurt/comfort where reader breaks her heel and sprains her ankle while walking home and matt finds her??
Prompt 2: May I request a Matt fic? I've been seeing girls on YouTube that test their heels out by running around in front of their s/o, and I thought it would be really funny with a clumsy reader and Matt having an absolute heart attack. Thanks!
Just realized that I completely altered the first prompt by having them meet at a diner rather than Matt finding her, so I apologize! I hope it was still alright to read :) happy whumptober, everyone!

Daminette arranged mariage au part 7
**************************
Damian arrived right on time as usual, to pick Marinette up for dinner. In the car they went over the plan one last time.
"So the plan right now is just to tell your brothers that we are dating until the papers go through confirming you are Xander's father, right?" Marinette said watching the city fly by.
"It shouldn't take long." Damien replied, "Rich families tend to get things done faster then anyone else. Everything should be in order before the end of dinner."
"But what about when they start asking questions?"
"We avoid the questions until the paperwork goes through, then we can tell them the whole story." He Paused thinking back. "When I got back I didn't talk about what happened. I didn't tell anyone so they should be interested enough in the story to leave their questions till the end."
"This might not go well dames," Marinette started Fidgeting with her bracelet, "what if they don't like me? Or they think I'm helping your mother? Or what if-"
"No, mari." He said, his voice bringing her away from her anxious thoughts, "it will be fine. i promise. they will love you and once we explain, everything will be fine. We are here are you ready?"
She nodded and stepped out of the car. The manor was even more extravagant then she had imagined. She was going to need to come back to sckech just the doorway not to mention the rest of the house. Thinking about the architecture helped to calm her nerves.
"Here we go" she said stepping up to the door. It opened before dhe even had the chance to knock. Behind the door was an elderly man in a suite.
"Hello Ms my name is Alfred, I am the Wayne's butler and your name is?"
"Just call me marinette.”
“I must insist it wouldn't be proper to call you anything but your last name.” Alfred said.
“Just marinette for now but you will probably know my last name by the end of the night.” he looked at her curiously, why didn’t she want him to know her name yet?
“Very well ms marinette,” he said before turning to damian, “master damian your family is waiting for you in The sitting room.”
the two of them walked into the room and marinette was expecting a lot of things, but not this. damian just looked so done with his family.
“Ahem.”he said drawing attention to himself. “Marinette these are my brothers Dick is the one hanging from the chandelier” she waved at the familiar man. “Tim is the one drinking straight from the pot of coffee and Jason is the one throwing knifes at Dick. Oh and cass is the only normal one sitting on the couch.”
“Hey!” the boys all yelled in unison.
“Its a pleasure to see you again marinette.” bruse said before the boys could start arguing “I presume that our other guest will be here after dinner?”
“That is correct Mr Wayne.”
“Its Bruce as I have told you.”
marinette rooled her eyes smiling. She wasn't going to call him Bruce
“Hold on what other guest?” Jason said confused.
“Dinner is served.” alfrid said from the doorway as he lead the group out of the room.
“Damian wait!” Dick said reaching out for his little brother. Damian turned glancing at marinette who nodded.
“What do you want Grayson?” he siad eager to get back to marinette.
“I don't think you should be seeing marinette you know how dangerous our 'job' is and-”
“She can take care of herself” he cut his brother off turning to follow were the rest of the group had gone.
Dick grabbed Damian’s arm makeing him stay this was importent.“I'm sure she can but she has a 2 year old son who can't take care of himself and I don't think-”
“Richard.” that got his attention damian never called anyone by their first name.
“Yes?”
“Xander is my son.” that took a moment to Process before-
“WHAT! WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE IS YOUR SON!”
without answering Damian walked out of the room. Dick folowed him into the dining room, where evryone looked at the two.
“Dick whats wrong? we heard yelling and you look like you saw a ghost.” Cass said conserned.
“Its nothing,” Damian replied sharing a meningful look with marinette. “I'm sure Grayson is fine. so marinette do I need to take any of my brothers to the garden”
evryone looked shocked at the implicashons but marinette just giggled.
“No they have all been wonderful. besids you know i can handle your brothers.”she smiled.
“Listen, marinette, if damian kidnapped you blink twice.” jason said in a sereous tone.
she gigaled again, “He didn't kidnap me besides we both know I can beat damian in a fight.”
“take that back! i have beaten you plenty of times before.” this made the boys and cass very intrested, if damian was defending himself he must have actualy tried to beat her, and falled.
“Dames I beat you 68% of the time.” interesting.
“so you admit i have beaten you before!” he said triumfently.
“Yeah when I let you win.” damians mouth fell open in legitament showk. he looked over at his father, who nodded, before making a statment that would change this family forever.
“Marinette Anne dupan-chang al Ghul Wayne you take that back right this minute!”
the reactions were very mixed. Dick was shocked. not only did his baby brother have a child but it apered that he was marred. Jason didnt know what to think. he had begun to coneckt the dots, marinette had foud the father of her chiled, she then showed up with his brother and she had the same last name as him. $#*! Tim alerdy knew about all this from his reserch and cass decided to wait for an explanation.
“No.” marinette said scrunching up her noes playfully. "I refuse to take it back."
there was silence for a moment before Bruce spoke.
“Maybe we should continue this discussion in the sitting room”
“So would you like to explain why marinette has the same last name as you?” cass said once they reached the other room.
“Not really but-”
“dames be nice, we knew we were going to explain when we came here tonight. I'll text luka.”
.”Who's Luka?” Tim said, he hadn't read anythig about a ‘Luka’.
“Its a long story so let's start from the beginning,” marinette started.
“Three and a half years ago I was walking back to my family's house after hanging out at a friend's house. Before I got home I saw a man who needed help, so I went over to help. him i cant remember what he was doing but when I got there I felt a prick in the back of my neck. I pulled the dart out before I hit the ground. The next thing I knew I was in a room laying on a coute. the door was locked and I could hear yelling from someone else in the building. I could tell it was a man but I couldn't make out what he was saying. it wasn't in french I later found out he was speaking Arabic. After the yelling stopped i heard the door unlock and got ready to run but when the door opened a woman was standing there with two big men behind her. She walked in and because of the two men I couldn't run. She started speaking to me in french she said 'my name it Talia. I need you to put on this ceremonial dress.' To which I replied as any sane person would that I wasn't going to put on the dress and they needed to take me back home. She asked 'did you hear that man yelling a moment ago?' 'Yes?' I said though I wasn't sure what that had to do with anything. 'if you don't put it on and do what I say I will kill him.' So I put on the dress. They tied my hands behind my back and blindfolded me before leading me out of the cell I was in. When they took the blindfold off I was kneeling at an alter. Talia began speaking in french so I could understand. She was saying things about the strongest bond known to man, and a queen for the future king. I didn't understand what she meant until I turned to see a boy my age bound and kneeling next to me. Thats when it hit me we were getting married. She made us drink something from a chalice before we were ushered into a different room. We were both untied and left alone. the door locked behind us. The only thing in the room was a bed. The boy introduced himself as damian and said that he wasn't sure why his mother made us get married but that he was going to get some answers. He looked pretty cute when he said that.”
Damian blushed at her compliment.
“Anyway Talia's explanation was that damian was 16 and for the league that meant he was a man and had to get married. And I had the great honor to be the one he married. I, was pissed. She said that as such a powerful magic user i was worthy to marry the future king of the league of assassins. I was even more pissed. She had the audacity to say that getting married, AT 16, to someone you had never met was a good thing. That little-”
“Alright mari I'll take over.” Damian said resting a hand on her sholder. “Anyway she said that after a year of mari training with the league we could go back to our normal lifes until we turned 18, at which point if we didn't at least move in together they would kill one of us. best mom ever. After that we were left alone to talk. Every day we trained and talked and worked hard. Once a month they would move us to a different compound and give us a huge array of blood tests. We became good friends. it was us against everyone else. Since we were already married we decided to give this whole romantic thing a try. But after six months I was sent to meeting with Talia she said I was going home and knocked me out sending me back to you. I searched and searched but I couldn't find any sign of marinette. so I had to asume Talia killed her. I couldn't think about France without thinking about her so I blocked all news from France. I didn't say anything to anyone for a month. And evrey year for one day I couldn’t speak, the anniversary of the last day I saw her alive.”
“I wasn't dead incase you were wondering.” marinette said picking up where damian left off,” I was sent to the med bay. No one would tell me what was happening or were damian was until Talia came in and said damian had fulfilled his usefulness. she exsplaned The only reason i was there was because damian had spent to much time with his father and had gone soft. The league needed a new heir to the throne. They picked me to be the mother of that heir. I was stuck there for months. I knew they weren't going to let me go. After the baby was born they were going to kill me. One day something big happened, I don't know what but it was big enough no one was watching me. I escaped. I hiched rides to France and snuck across borders. When I finally got back i saw a doctor as soon as I could. I didn't know if the baby was ok. He was born when I was 17.” she turned to the door where a young man stood holdng a toddler who scrambled down and ran over to his parints. “Everyone I would like you to meet Xander Thomas dupan-chang al Ghul Wayne.”
“Damian you have a son.” cass said wide eyed.
“I'm aware” damian said handing the boy his phone with a game already opened up.
“Xander is my nephew??????” Dick said staring at the boy like he had grown a secend head.
“Yes.” marinette said simply.” It took a year to defeat Paris' villain. After that I moved here to find damian and tell him about Xander.”
“Dang. So you know about Robin then?”
“Yep”
“Why didn't you say anything??? I've known you for over a year and you said nothing????” the betrayed jason said.
“I didn't want to explain anything until I could tell damian. i thought He should be the first to know about his son.”
“We have a break in at gatham museum.” alfered said over the intorcom
“We are not done with this conversation.” Bruce said.
“Suite up!” called Tim.
“Marinette do you want to come?”
she smiled at her husband “I wouldn't miss it for the world.”

A LunaTic and Her Gunn (Part 115 2Xs2) "True Intentions"
@crystalbaby12 @backoftheroomandnotbelonging @5sosfam1dlover @rosefilledhearts-blog
"I've got different colored sticky tabs for the different spaces." Luna announces as she enters her storage unit.
Jackie and Sam are there with The Movers. Luna goes through picking out which pieces will go to The Brownstone, her Studio Apartment and the Recording Studio she just bought. She had signed the closing paperwork electronically with Monica and Ben earlier this week on the latter properties. The Apartment is ready but the Recording Studio needs a contractor for the equipment installation. Jackie being on top of that, they start the gutting process next week. Everything else is being moved out today.
"Whoah!!! Be carful with that!!" Sam cries out in concern as she watches The Movers roughly handle an original, stretched Mapplethorpe.
"What the FUUUUUCK." Luna groans as she rubs her forehead. "Why wasn't that crated?" She asks no one in particular as her phone rings. "Hello?" She sighs into the receiver.
It's Kylie. Luna's therapist. Calling because it's 2P on every other Thursday. Luna excuses herself, trusting Sam and Jackie while she finds an empty stairwell.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
"It's just conflicting, Ky... " Luna let's out with an annoyed sigh and a cloud of smoke from her pen while playing with Colson's padlock around her neck.
She's been on the phone with Kylie for the last 45mins talking about everything and anything. Colson, Justin, trust, feeling over exposed, setting up the lable. Her therapist advising her to breathe as always and to make a Pros and Cons list regarding marrying Colson. Knowing there is no option, Luna humors her with an Okay before they get off the phone.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
"How do we look?" Luna asks after coming back in from the stairwell.
"Good." Jackie begins to reassure her. "Everything you want is loaded into the two trucks. I'm gonna ride to The Brownstone and Sam to The Apartment... Uhm, Lee said you're good to go at Electric Lady Land around 7P... "
"And I talked to Mikey, he'll be there no problem." Sam chimes in.
"You guys are fucking AWESOME. Thank you." Luna pulls them in for a three way hug. "I gotta go meet Petey." She informs them once they release. "You guys good without me?" She asks.
Both women nod. Giving promises of phones calls if there's any problems as Luna heads back towards the stairwell; popping another XR and two 30s during her descent. It shouldn't be THAT hard... They're only responsible for moving half of her life.
---------------------------------------------------
Colson gets in touch with The Boys and heads to Amsterdam Billiards for pool and beers. Popping his own handful of Adderall along the way. Stepping out of the cab, Mod greets him with an excited hug.
"What up, Kid!" He squeezes his unhappy friend. "Aww, come on... Don't be like that, you know Luna'll come around. She always does." Mod tells him with a slap on the back as they walk inside.
Benny, Baze, AJ, Rook and Slim have a table racked up. Mod grabs more beers as Colson joins them. They're all talking about the GMA performance. Agreeing it was killer. While Rook also can't stop talking about Jackie.
"Good luck with that, Rookie. I don't think Loons is doing any of us any favors right now." Colson sighs as he leans down to break.
"Shit. Speak for yourself, that's my homie, Dawg." Rook disagrees with him as he swigs his beer.
---------------------------------------------------
Luna meets Pete on The Delancey's rooftop bar. He's already sat when she walks in. Noticing her, he stands for them to hug Hello. His normal excitement clearly missing as she orders a drink.
"I heard you and Colson got into it after I left." Luna cuts right to the core.
"Yeah. He wants to blame me for him running his mouth." Pete starts to complain to Luna's silence. "Like I started all this shit."
"You kinda did... I love you Petey but whether I cheated on Colson or Justin, like I told you last night, it's none of your business. My betrayal didn't land on you or even Colson so really the two of you are fighting over some shit that doesn't even concern you. It's that simple." Luna explains.
"So you did cheat on Beebs?" Pete asks her, ignoring everything else she had said.
"Yeah, Petey. I told you last night that I had an affair. I'm not proud of it but it happened." Luna shrugs as she fights back tears of guilt.
"Who was it?" He pries.
"What? No. You don't get to ask questions like that... Like, I don't understand why this feels like you're mad at me for some reason. I didn't do ANYTHING to you." Luna furrows her eyebrows at him as she takes a sip of her drink.
"Yeah but you did do something to my friend that he never did to you." Pete looks into his beer and then up at Luna.
"You didn't know Justin and I's relationship as well as you think you did. Just like you don't know nearly as much about me and Colson as you think you may. My turn? Your judgmental attitude towards me is really disappointing and if you're so worried about your FRIENDS than go make up with the one that's still in town. I'm outta here though." Luna swallows the rest of her Old Fashioned with two gulps. "Hit me up when you're done being a dick." She calls over her shoulder as she walks out of the bar.
---------------------------------------------------
Mike's sitting alone outside of Electric Lady Land when Luna arrives. Lighting a cigarette, he looks up. Green eyes taking her in as he stands to grab her guitar case from her.
"What's goin' on, Luna?" He asks as he sits back down and takes a drag from his Marlboro.
Luna fishes around in her bag for her joint box and flask. Finding them both, she takes a swig before offering it over to his acceptance. Lighting a joint, she sighs out a cloud of smoke as they sit in silence. Sometimes no talking is good.
After a while Sam shows up. The three of them head inside to meet up with Lee. Thanking him, he tells Luna no one was even booked as they begin to set up in Studio A.
Realizing they need producers, Luna calls Slim. Then Snaps Colson. Setting her bag on the table, she pulls out supplies. Weed, whiskey, cigarettes and more weed. Popping another few 30s before laying her guitar back onto her body.
---------------------------------------------------
"Yeah! No problem, we'll be down there ASAP." Slim says into his phone. "That was LunaTic, she wants us to come produce the track." He says excitedly to Baze once he hangs up. "Dawg! We gonna make some music in Jimi Hendrix's fucking spot, Yo!!" He exclaims as they slap hands across the pool table.
Colson's just about to put his two sense in when his phone goes off. Digging in his pocket, it's not the message he was expecting. It's a Snap from Luna.
"If I want? What kind of fucking shit is that?" He scoffs in his mind. "Why's she so fucking hot even while she's being such a fucking a bitch." He finds himself becoming annoyed with how much he wants her and her resistance towards him. He shoves his phone back in his pocket without responding.
The Boys are getting ready to head to Greenwich Village when Colson's phone goes off again. It's the message he's been waiting for. Telling The Boys he'll meet up with them later, he's out the door before they pay the tab.
---------------------------------------------------
Luna's leaned towards Mike in the booth when Colson walks in. He can't hear them but he doesn't like that he can see him making her laugh. Mike's a little to comfortable in his interactions with Luna in Colson's personal opinion. Luna catches the back of his blonde hair and significant tattoo as she looks up, watching as he walks out of the room. He quickly heads down the hall towards the bathroom, promptly pulling out the quarter ounce of cocaine he'd grabbed from Nipple.
Colson walks back into the studio just as Luna, Sam and Mike begin recording. Sitting with Slim and Baze at the soundboard, he grabs a pair of headphones and slips them on. Listening and watching intently. Luna can feel his eyes burning straight into her soul.
Nailing it on the third full take, they leave it alone. Luna doesn't want it mixed. Layered, yes but not mixed. She's always preferred the gritty, garage rock sound over studio polish any day. Coming out of the booth, she approaches Colson as he stands up.
"You came." She purrs with a drunken slur to her sentence as she wraps her arms around his waist.
"I go where you go, Kitten. Always." He promises her before lifting her chin to kiss her deeply; enjoying their first real kiss of the day but opening his eyes half way through to stare down Mike from around the side of the top of her head.
Hanging out afterwards, they celebrate with beers and lines. Luna declining as everyone else partakes in Colson's party favor. Having done enough other drugs all day, she's still buzzing from earlier so she's solid without it. Preferring to burn and drink instead.
"What do you have recorded so far?" Mike asks Luna about her upcoming album.
"I think maybe three out of an ambitious twenty!" Luna laughs softly at herself.
"I'm down to help with anything you need." Mike offers as he passes her a joint.
"Thanks... I'm probably gonna take you up on that." Luna answers. "I don't really have a band right now and we... "
"That's why you got us." Rook interrupts her while plunking down on the couch beside her and tossing an arm around her shoulders; he doesn't like the way Mike has been hanging around Luna either.
"That I do." Luna giggles as she kisses his cheek.
"We backed her on Nightmare and I produced Outlaw." Rook declares proudly while studying to the musician.
"That's cool, Little Man." Mike responds unfazed by Rook as he stands up. "Luna, you got my number if you wanna use it for anything. I gotta run though." He smirks at Rook as he leans down to peck her cheek.
"You want me to walk you out?" She offers.
"Nah, I'm good... I'll catch you around though." Mike smiles at her before heading for the door.
Watching the entire interaction, Colson follows behind him. Calling out his name, he catches him in the hallway right at the front door. Mike turns around unamused.
"You know we're engaged, right?" Colson questions him with an irritated tone.
"Yeah... And?" Mike cuts back while cocking his lip.
"AND? And I don't like the way you fucking act around her so back the fuck up." Colson snaps at him.
"Gonna be kinda hard since it seems that SHE wants ME as her new bassists." Mike laughs at him while slapping him on the shoulder.
"Gonna be kinda hard to play ANYTHING when I snap your fucking fingers." Colson warns him as he shoves Mike up against the wall; Mike's 6'2 so there's not much of a height difference between them.
"Try it, My Man." Mike chuckles, unimpressed by Colson's threat.
"You know what, you're right... " Colson let's him off of the wall. "Maybe I overreacted." He says as he opens the door for Mike and he begins to walk through. "Or maybe I FUCKING didn't!" Colson growls as he grabs Mike's right hand and jerks him back.
Slamming it with the door, in between the frame. One. Two. Three. Four times. Most likely breaking it.
"YOU PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT!" Mike screams as he grasps his mangled hand.
"You can walk away right now or you can crawl away with two broken legs also." Colson advises as he props the door open again.
"You're gonna FUCKING regret this." Mike snarls to Colson's emotionless stare as he holds his hand and turns to leave. "That was a bad fucking move, My Man." He calls out from the sidewalk.
"Maybe it was... Maybe it wasn't... But DAMN if it didn't feel good." Colson walks back to the studio with a pep in his step for the first time today; having released a majority of his stress. "I never liked that motherfucker anyway." He thinks as he opens the door, looking to locate only Luna. Knowing in the back of his mind that her and Sam are gonna probably fuck him up for what he just did but he doesn't care. Fuck that Dude, he doesn't want him around Luna regardless of the cost.
---------------------------------------------------
"There's stuff!!" Rook exclaims pointing at the large, round arial rug, crates and boxes in The Living Room as they return to The Brownstone. Everyone but Luna is zooted, even Sam. "Yo!!" Check out these fucking chairs!" Rook continues to holler, now from The Study.
It's also stacked with boxes of Luna's books and vinyls. Having one wall with floor to ceiling bookshelves, she's looking forward to using them. Walking in, she finds Rook lounging on one of the two highback, purple velvet chairs she owns along with the exposed Mapplethorpe.
"What's up with that picture?" Rook asks as he accepts a beer from Luna.
"My grandfather shot it." She tells him proudly as they clink their beers together.
"It's really cool. Like the two flowers are reaching out for each other. Like death grasping for life." He says thoughtfully.
"I think that's what he was going for." Luna smiles to herself, admiring the exceptional piece.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Luna makes her way upstairs to the shower. Turning Fletcher on, she lights up a joint as she cuts up another two 30s and swallows two Xanax bars. It's been a long day, she hasn't been to sleep in almost 48hrs and she's incredibly shaky from all the Adderall. Wanting to simply wash everything away and knock the fuck out.
"Hey... " Colson's sitting on the bed when she comes out of the bathroom.
"Hi." She answers as she stops and looks at him with a sigh.
"Please come're, Luna." He asks for her as he reaches his arms out yet again.
This time she does. Sitting on his lap in her towel, she wraps her arms around him and nuzzles her head into her spot in the crook of his neck. Resting his chin on her head, Colson and Luna hold each other silently besides his constant sniffling.
"Loons, I'm sorry." Colson speaks first. "I shouldn't... "
"Please. I'm SO tired." Luna whines. "But, Colson, it's not the secret that you told. I would've told Justin had he cared to notice or ask. It's that you told A secret because I've got bigger ones than that. You have no idea." She sighs sadly.
"Like what, Kitty?" Colson pries with concern.
"Seriously, I am so fucking tired, Col. Can I please just sleep. I promise I'll tell you everything." She pleads with him as the Xanax begins to take over.
"Okay... " Colson agrees as he kisses her forehead. "Lay with you?" He asks.
"There's no way you can lay down right now... Just come to bed eventually, please." Luna requests.
"Yeah." He promises "I love you." He tells her before taking her face in his hands and kissing her passionately.
"I love you too." She kisses him lightly on the lips again once they release before crawling off of his lap.
Dropping her towel, Luna climbs into their bed. Wrapping herself in the warm, custom blanket, she snuggles into the pillow with heavy exhaustion. Colson leans down and kisses her cheek. Dropping another I love you into her ear as she mumbles the same. She's out before he closes the door.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Colson, Sam, Baze, Rook, AJ, Benny, Mod and Slim are downstairs for the next few hours. Jamming, talking uncontrollably and bouncing in and out off the front stoop to smoke cigarettes as they blow through the bag of coke.
The house is still bare so they decide it's a good idea to start setting Luna's books up on the shelves. They're all high as fuck, doing whatever they want. Sam and Mod begin trying to organize her vast collection but are making no sense. Baze gets caught up in a hardback limited edition entitled The Great Big Book of Rock and Roll. Slim and Colson are in awe when they open a box of her records. Sitting on the floor, they start going through them like little kids in a candy store. Rook's really flying and gets bored quickly, heading into The Living Room to beat his energy out on his new drum kit. Benny and AJ are the only chill ones as always. Maxed out in the purple chairs, they continuesly puff on and pass blunts to the other wackos. Luna sleeping through it all.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Sam and Colson find themselves out on the stoop alone. Their normal awkward silence is gone as cocaine fuels their conversation. Talking all things Luna. This is one of the reasons Sam barely hits the slopes, she talks too fucking much when she's on 'em.
"You can't be mad at Pete." She offers up her opinion. "Luna's like another little sister to him." She tries to explain.
"Yeah but he's supposed to be my bestfriend." Colson disagrees.
"I get that... So can't you understand the fucked up spot you put him in between the two of you?" Sam counters as she takes a drag off of her Camel.
"Yeah... I think he thought she cheated on me... " Colson trails.
"Look, he had a really hard time with Justin and Luna's relationship too. We both did. Justin would disappear and we'd be looking for him with Luna. Sometimes we'd find him sometimes we wouldn't. Sometimes he'd call Pete, me or Izak on his own. Pete and Izak would hide him... It was fucked up." Sam shakes get head in dismay as her own heart breaks. "Justin would get clean, be good for a minute but then relapse all over again and she'd be a fucking mess. If anyone tried to paint their relationship as picture perfect to you than they didn't truly know them. Luna and Justin had a lot of problems." Sam admits to one of the first people ever; Colson seeming to have that effect on people.
"She doesn't really talk about him... I mean a little but I can tell it's restrained." He sighs.
"There's my Sammy Bam Bam!" Baze interrupts them with a grin as he opens the door.
"Make up with Pete." Sam pats Colson on the shoulder as she stands up to head inside with her boyfriend.
The Cocaine Cowboys eventually round their night out. Sam following Baze to his room as Rook, AJ, Benny, and Slim head to theirs. Mod being super grateful for the spare bedroom he slept in last night. Colson making his way up to a still sleeping Luna.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Stripping his clothes, Colson climbs into bed with Luna. Her body is warm as he slides himself around her. Firmly running his hand up her outer thigh, along her hip and ribcage before crawling around her breast. Feeling every inch of her once more as he runs his hand back down her slender body.
Luna moans as her hips begin to shift back and forth out of need and instinct. Colson grows harder against her back as he slips his fingers along her pussy lips. Feeling her juices spill out as he lightly dips his finger inside of her.
"Mmm... Fuck, I've missed her taste." He mentally moans, not being a able to resist sticking his fingers in his mouth as his tongue dances around her unique flavor.
"I wanna fuck you." Colson husks deeply into her ear while he grabs her tit.
"Mhm." Luna murmurs hazily as she perks her ass into him.
Getting the Go, Colson seperates her delicate lips with his fingers. Taking his time, he slowly guides himself into Luna. Feeling her body tense as she moans and pushes her ass deeper into him. Tangling their legs in each other's, Luna reaches behind and grabs the back of Colson's neck to pull him closer to her. Kissing every inch of her that he can reach, he fucks her sternly while she bounces lazily off of his cock. With her face and closed eyes still resting softly in her pillow; she moans and fucks Colson contently in her sleep and drug induced state.
There's something about a SleepFuck that's incredibly satisfying to Luna. Her walls clutch Colson's dick in pleasure, making he thrusts harder. Releasing himself as he feels her cum all over him.
"FUCK." He breathes into her bare neck.
"Mmm... " Is Luna's only response, she's already almost back asleep.
---------------------------------------------------
Pete shows up on The Brownstone's stoop with two coffees. Colson meeting him with four blunts. The two friends take a seat. Colson firing up the first blunt after Pete hands him his coffee.
"Yo... I'm sorry, Dawg." Colson starts as he exhales. "I put you in some shit... "
"Nah, Homie." Pete cuts him off as he accepts the blunt. "Luna's business is her own. No matter who it's with." Pete sighs. "I just worry about her, Man. And you too. I've seen you both go through some fucked up shit and I don't want to see it again, I guess." Pete half shrugs as he takes a pull.
"Look, Sam ACTUALLY talked to me last night so I get it a little more than I did before." Colson tells him as he accepts the blunt.
"It was just hard... " Pete shakes his head at the memories.
"I don't want this to fuck us up." Colson bares his soul to one of his bestfriends.
"Me neither." Pete agrees as he reaches for the second blunt and fires it up.
Both friends look at each other. There's an understanding between men that can happen without words. This is one of those times. With a simple nod, Pete and Colson are good. Going on to enjoy their coffee, each other and the NYC morning as they get high and bust it up like nothing ever happened.
---------------------------------------------------
Luna's extra miserable when Colson wakes her up for their flight back to LA. The lack of sleep, too many drugs and her gunshot wound have her aching in every sense of the word. She doesn't shower. Just throws on sunglasses, cuttoffs and an oversized Hotel Diablo hoodie.
They make it to JFK just in time for their 11A flight. Everyone is dragging, not only Luna. Proving that cocaine is a Motherfucker. Once seated in first class, everyone knocks back out. Luna curling up against Colson as his face lays on her head and arm rests upon her bare leg.
---------------------------------------------------
It's just before 8P by time they make it back to The LA House. Everyone is tired. No one is happy. All dropping their luggage in The Living Room before heading to their beds. They're so mentally jacked, no one's even thought to check The Charts, let alone eat at all day.
---------------------------------------------------
Luna and Colson sleep clean until the next morning until her alarm goes off. Colson groans as she shifts away from him. Climbing out of the bed, she reaches high to stretch. Colson watching her out of one slitted eye.
"Why are you up?" He asks flatly.
"So you can truly see me." Luna answers before disappearing into the bathroom.
It takes a shit ton of coaxing and drugs to get Colson moving after Luna's shower. Complaining the whole time as she hands him water and joints. Once in the shower he starts to feel slightly better after he jerks off. He's FINALLY fully functional after his Adderall and coffee kicks in.
Not getting as much sleep as Luna and doing way more drugs, he's really edgy. She hands him a football before they walk out of the bedroom. He's so pissy they leave the house quietly without his trademark WE OUT.
---------------------------------------------------
"Can I have the keys?" Luna asks, she's dressed in an overall romper, white shirt, long socks and one of her leathers as they walk towards the Rover in the early Saturday sun.
"Why?" Colson asks back as he tosses them to her in his own ripped jeans and black T.
"I need to drive and you need to listen." She answers before sliding into the driver's seat.
"You're talking to me now?" He counters with a slight attitude as he buckles his seatbelt.
"Do you think this is a fucking game?" Luna whips her head towards him.
"No." He answers solemnly as he sparks a joint.
"You don't seem to fucking get it at all." Luna shakes her head as she pulls out of the driveway.
"Look Loons, I'm sorry I fucked up with the Tommy and Justin thing. I shouldn't have said shit no matter how I was feeling." He exhales his apology as he passes her the joint and finally pops the Xanax she gave him.
"You still don't get it, Colson. How many times do I have to tell you.. It's not the secret you told. It's that you TOLD a secret. Period. You don't seem to realize that I'm dirtier than a fucking affair... Fuck." Luna let's out an exasperated sigh. "Let's be honest. In the short time you've known me; I've committed coercion, shot a federal agent, am in the process of setting up an underground abortion clinic... Oh! And I was blackmailed into issuing a public apology for fucking up one person out of what? A fucking dozen? And that's only been in the last 3MNTHS... Seriously, I am a fucking criminal." Colson stares at her as everything begins to register. "Fuck, I've got things going on that you don't even know about yet." She continues to worry as she hits the joint a few times while staring ahead. "And now, I'm terrified to fucking tell you about them."
"Like what?" Colson asks her with a concerned, yet amused SideEye as he takes the joint.
"Why should I tell you? Every criminal who's been caught is usually taken down because of their irrational lover." She looks over at him with a light smirk and hazy blue eyes for the first time during their car ride.
"You really gonna play me like that?" He scoffs at her before inhaling a huge hit.
"I don't know. You wanna say don't call Jax but are your stupid ass, jealous comments gonna get me popped one day?" She bites back as she fumbles for her cigarettes.
"Are you fucking serious?" He spits out as he starts to get angry with her. "What the fuck do you think I would do to you and what the fuck else are you doin' that's worse than what I already know? And where the FUCK are we going?" He demands as they continue to drive.
Luna's quiet for a long moment as she smokes her Newport. She's trying to keep herself calm and figure out exactly how to tell Colson about what things. Already having made her decision long before they got into the SUV to give up her biggest secret.
"Tell me, Luna." Colson asserts as he lights another joint.
"All in?" She asks him firmly as she looks over at him and holds his stare while he grabs her hand to reassure her. "I told you... I'm dirtier than you think. I own properties that clean money and stash shit for one of the biggest distributors on The East Coast." Luna admits in a hushed voice.
"It's for Tommy, isn't it?" Colson immediately snaps as his mind flashes back to his conversation with Benny.
"OH MY FUCKING GAWD!!" Luna can't help but scream. "You are so fucking hung up on other dudes that it's insane and probably what's gonna get me caught!" Luna stops. "How can you not see that I tell you more about myself WILLINGLY than any other human being on This Earth? That you know more about me than Justin ever did." Luna's lip trembles as tears escape from her eyes. "So, yeah... It started with Tommy but I have bigger associates now... " Luna shakes her head. "That's only a blip though. There is so much more at stake for me than that!" Luna slams her palms against the steering wheel in frustration as she begins to sob. "You have no fucking idea." She shakes her head again as her voice breaks.
"Then what is it, Luna?" Colson softens his tone with her.
Coming to a stop light, Luna turns her head and looks Colson dead in the eyes. Her hands are clutching the steering wheel so tightly that her knuckles are white. There's a look on her face he's never seen before. It's a mixture of sadness, pain and determination. Taking a shuddered sigh, Luna flicks her cigarette out the window. She finds herself begging The Universe that he won't betray her this time as she's about to tell only Colson her true intentions. Lighting her own joint, she inhales deeply and holds the hit in. Looking over at Colson, she studies him. He stares back, waiting for her words.
"I'm gonna kill Smurf." She states icily before turning away, releasing the brake and focusing on what's ahead. "Still wanna marry me now?" She asks, puffing on the joint without taking her eyes off of the road.

The kiss had complicated things.
Asking for an anullment had complicated it even more.
This was just supposed to be a marriage of convenience, a marriage built upon keeping Wiley safe from everything that could hurt him. Especially Nelle. They got married to protect him, so Michael could have a better chance in court against her.
After they won sole custody, the psycho bitch had kidnapped him after slashing Brook Lynn's throat. Thankfully, Michael had found them and saved Wiley.
That damn kidnapping is the reason Willow's thinking like this. Well, maybe one good thing came out of that besides extra quality family moments: her kiss with Michael after he'd brought their son back home.
Their son. Willow was officially adopting Wiley. Diane had the paperwork ready to go, all they had to do was sign it tomorrow and then her and Michael would always be in each other's lives, whether they wanted to or not.
She really wanted to be in his life in a bigger way than just a co parent for Wiley. As much as she loved that little boy, and there was no way to put the love she has for him into words, she didn't want to be the parent who's house he goes to on the weekends or a visitor to him. Granted, Michael would never let that happen. He was too kind, too perfect when it came to that, amongst other things. Michael wanted to make sure that their family stays just that, a family. Dysfunctional to an extent, yes, but a family.
It's almost like everyone is yelling for them to get together. Even his grandmother and brother who had met Willow ten seconds before saying how obviously happy she made his little brother.
Maybe she's just overthinking this. After all, Michael might still be in love with Sasha. It's completely possible; they were together for a long time.
But...
What if she's not? What if this isn't all in her head, and she's not freaking out and internally losing it over nothing? What if this is real, a genuine connection, and they're just throwing it away?
Dante said something about this when they'd met, in between quick witted remarks about the dysfunction she had married into. He'd actually said a lot of important things, she thinks.
"I'd ask my little brother if you make him happy, but you obviously do. I can see it written all over his face," Dante had said as soon as they were introduced.
Michael had brought up getting an annulment as opposed to a divorce, which she explained had been in part because they didn't have any irreconcilable differences. "Well, I just got here, so what do I know, but you two seem pretty happy together. And compatible- genuinely, that's a rare thing! But you guys know what's best for you guys."
She couldn't believe it. Each day, their family moments, it felt more and more like normal. Her broken heart had mended, she knew it. When she had to speak to Chase the other day, she didn't feel like she was in love with him anymore. She could look him dead in the eyes and still not feel that spark.
It was a confusing situation in general, with Michael having asked for an annulment after saying how great she was and kept looking at her with that look, the half smile and loving eyes.
How she loved that look. It was becoming a favorite thing of hers, seeing him look at her like that. She didn't know what it was, but if anyone was going to, she figured it would be Dante.
Or she could ask Michael himself. After all, they always promised to tell the truth to each other no matter what happened. Honesty and trust were the foundation of their marriage. Despite the fact it would be ending a lot sooner than she would've liked, they were still married. Rules still applied.
And that's how she ended up waiting anxiously in the foyer for her husband to come home. "Hello, Willow. What are you doing?" Dante asks when he walks in the door. "I mean no offense by that, of course, it's just you look like you've got something on your mind. Or, rather, someone. You also look like Lulu back when we were just married and she was so excited to see me at home, so I'm going to guess you're looking for Michael and have something important to tell my little brother."
"I can't get anything past you," she chuckles softly. Dante genuinely cared about the people around him and who made his family happy, that she could see easily.
"So why are you waiting for my brother?"
Willow takes a deep breath, sitting on one of the stairs so she stops pacing. "Well, you look like there's something on your mind. Wanna talk about it?"
Dante let's out a quiet laugh. "You don't want to go first, fine, I will. I just saw Lulu at the Floating Rib. She was there for Maxie's engagement party, I guess. Something I was not invited to, since she didn't know I was back in town. Anyways, we were chatting and then Dustin walked in. He was talking about a PTA meeting. I knew they were serious, but I had no clue that they were serious enough he's on the PTA."
"Dustin's not on the PTA, he's a teacher. He had to make a presentation. I know because I'm a teacher too. I get kids who have been transfers from his school." Willow informs him, watching as relief goes over her brother-in-law's face.
"That's good, but still. He then offered to start getting to know me, practically insinuating that I'm just some dude he has to deal with in Lulu's life. It feels like a bad love triangle, the first of many you'll experience as Wiley's mother. I don't know, I don't like the guy," Dante sighs.
"I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but to be honest, his reviews are meh at best. The kids like him, for sure, but I don't know. Haven't made up my decision about him yet," she smiles.
Smiling back, Dante says, "Well, you've got to tell me now. What are you so desperate to tell Michael you're pacing like a newlywed who needs sex?"
She bursts out laughing. "You're blunt, Dante. Lulu isn't going to pick Dustin, you know that."
"It's Lulu Spencer. I'd like to think I know her, but I don't know. She's... Changed since I last saw her. In a good way, but still, change is change. Peter offered me a job where we might be working together, so there's that. Anyways, enough of me. You're not getting out of talking about Michael anymore."
Willow playfully glares at Dante. "Fine. I'm going to tell him that I don't want an annulment."
A huge smile breaks out onto Dante's face. "Thank God, I was half convinced you weren't going to tell him or he wasn't going to tell you."
"Wait, Michael doesn't want one either?" Willow asks, confused. He had been sending mixed signals for a while now, but so had she. Her feelings were... Complex, that'd be the ideal phrase to describe them. She didn't know if she loved him yet, nor did she want to rush into that or anything, but there was an attraction she couldn't shake to him.
"Wow, Willow. You're both the most oblivious people on the planet. You're perfect for each other," Dante laughs. "Of course he doesn't want an annulment! Have you seen the way he looks at you lately? That's not how you look at your friend, or convenient wife. That's how you look at someone you love! I've only seen the two of you together a couple of times, but my big bro instincts are telling me that he's doing his thing where he doesn't go for what he wants."
Willow laughs along with him. "That's so frustrating, right? He won't allow himself to have anything good without overthinking it."
As they're laughing, Michael walks in. "What's so funny?" He asks Willow and Dante, confused.
"It's not even really funny, it's just that- Michael, I'm going to let you two speak for a minute. I've got to get to... Somewhere that's not here," Dante excuses himself.
That was weird, Michael thinks as Willow stands. "Is it just me or is he asking weird?"
Willow smiles, "He's not, but we do have to talk."
Taking a deep breath, Michael nods his agreement. "Okay, you wanna go to the living room so we can sit for this conversation, because I've got something to tell you too."
"Me first," Willow says as she sits on the couch next to him. "Michael, I don't want an annulment."
Michael breathes a sigh of relief, "Can I ask why?"
"If you still want to get one, of course we'll get one. But I don't want to. I want to stay married to you and not just because of the house and not cooking or cleaning, which are huge pros. I want to stay married to you because you're kind and loving. You always treat me with respect I didn't know I deserved until we got married. Chase was- he was great, but you don't put work before me, or your family. Family is the most important thing to you, not work or money or any of that stuff. You love Wiley as much as I do, and you're the only person who understands what it's like to be dealing with this stuff as a parent, and as a person. He's not just something that comes with me for you, he's someone important and who you love. I don't feel like I'm a second choice, or that I'm too needy, or that I've got to reschedule my plans so you can do something. And with Chase, it didn't always feel like that. You found out about something I loved and instantly found a broker to get the best wine selections because you wanted me to be able to have that back. Look, what I'm trying to say is I like you, Michael."
There's a quiet in the room as Michael takes in everything Willow just said to him. "As in romantically?" He asks, still processing what he just heard from her.
"Yes, romantically. And I get it if you don't feel the same, it's just that I feel like you might because you're acting like you're into me sometimes and you did say that I was everything you could've hoped for so I guess I just wanted to say this. I Also, Dante was surprisingly helpful in getting me to be able to say this to you," Willow smiles anxiously at the man sat next to her on the couch.
His brain is going a million miles an hour, trying to properly process everything. Willow can't deal with the silence, however, and starts rambling: "If you're trying to think of an easy way to let me down, Michael, just do it flat out. No harm, no foul. It doesn't change what I feel, but it will make me feel less embarrassed about putting you in such an uncomfortable situation."
"You done?" Michael half smirks, and she nods before he kisses her, soft yet perfect. Willow can feel herself falling in love with this kiss, which is arguably better than the other two they've had, as fantastic as they've been.
When they pull away, Michael gives her the look again. It's more intense, but she's realized he's always got it when he's talking to her. "Willow, I like you a lot. I've liked you since we first met, and honestly, I don't know if I ever entirely stopped. The only reason I suggested the annulment is because I knew it would take some time, and because I wanted to know if you wanted to stay married. In my mind, I've always hoped it'd turn out with us together, no matter how real what we both had with Chase and Sasha was. It took me until you accepted my proposal- which, by the way, was absolutely terrible and I'm sorry for that- to realize that I really like you. So I'll call Diane and tell her to call off the annulment."
She smiles. "What does this mean for us, Michael? I can't live in this state of limbo forever."
"I don't know right now. Let's give it a time limit for the state of limbo: Wiley's 2nd birthday. It's a few months away, which is plenty of time to figure it out and still not feel like we're rushing through anything."
"Sounds... Perfect."
You should post this!!!

9-1-1: Josh Russo
@bitweird1 requested: “Thx!❤ Could you do one where the reader works with him as a 911 operator and they aren't dating but they both like eachother and the reader gets hurt or is in a dangerous situation and has to call 911 and Maddie is the 911 operator that answers and Maddie has to tell Josh and he gets worried but the reader's ok in the end and she only has a few scratches?❤🥰❤ (And I'm Bi too!, sorry I just wanted to add that in there😂) (Not to the request but the ask)”
“9-1-1, what’s your emergency?” The familiar voice of your coworker, Maddie, met your ears and you breathed out a sigh of relief. That question, one that you repeated on auto-pilot again and again and again each day, never bothered you. Neither did Maddie’s voice; it was actually comforting and calming, a much welcomed sound in the middle of a hectic day or at the end of a painful call. But now? Now that was the last thing you wanted to hear, the last question and voice you wanted to hear. You just wanted to get from the bank to work in one piece and go about your day as normal, you didn’t want your day to be thrown off track and deal with all of this stress.
“Maddie? Oh, thank God! It’s me, it’s (Y/N). I’ve been in a car accident, I don’t think it’s too serious, I can still feel my toes and wiggle them. I’m too scared to look down, my arm is covered in blood and—“ You rushed out in a quick breath, unable to look down at yourself for a second time after seeing blood in the first glance. Looking out the hole where your window to your left should be at the red pickup truck that hit you and the enraged man stepping out of the driver’s seat, your heart rate picked up and you couldn’t seem to bring in enough air to your lungs. You hoped he would focus on himself and his car and leave you alone to wait for help. “I’m on the corner of South Azure Avenue and Pepperbrook Way.”
“I’ve dispatched the 118 to you, hang in there, Buck will be there soon. Oh, and I’ll tell Josh,” Maddie informed you, hoping her brother would be a familiar face to help you calm down. She was right, knowing Buck and the other team members of the 118 would be the ones to find you and help you put you at ease. It was easier to talk to and be treated by familiar faces, your best friend’s brother would surely crack a joke or two to take your mind off of this crappy situation. But on the other side, the thought of Josh made your stomach flip, made you worry about what he would say or do. You didn’t want to hear a “why are you telling me?” on the other end of the line.
“Tell Josh what?” He asked in passing, conveniently always right where he needed to be. With a look over Maddie’s shoulder at the screen, he was able to scan the information and recognize your personal cell phone number. He nodded slowly to himself, his brain taking a few seconds to truly process the information he saw: your name, your phone number, car accident, driver injured. He stilled, breath catching in his throat and fingers tightly gripping the back of Maddie’s chair. He was already moving, on his way out the door when he shot a glance over his shoulder to Maddie. “I’m taking my lunch break,” he said, sounding distant and distracted.
She knew, Maddie knew everything around the office, but mostly because she was good friends with both you and Josh. She knew about the crushes you were both harboring for one another but wouldn’t act on because he was your superior and that was frowned upon, no matter how professional you two would be at work. She was sick of hearing both of you say some version of that, sick of the excuses you both came up with to justify putting off the inevitable and hiding the truth. You knew how important it was to separate your home and work lives, every first responder did; it was what you had to do to survive the job. It wasn’t like two 9-1-1 dispatchers would face the same problems as two officers or firefighters in a relationship in the same job.
You couldn’t bring yourself to get out of your car, even though you knew your neck and spine and head were okay, not until after Hen and Chim poked and prodded you to give you the all clear. The questions, the pressure to various parts of your body, and the bright light shining in your eyes were nothing to you, you barely noticed it when you were too occupied thinking about Josh. He was probably going about work as normal, you’d see him in a day or two when you went back. Buck lead you to the ambulance where he sat with you while Hen cleaned and bandaged the cuts on your arms and chest from the shattered window and you thanked every higher being and star in the sky that no glass got stuck in you. The cleaning solution hurt worse than the impact, now that the adrenaline was wearing off and you were aware of all that was happening.
Meanwhile, Josh was stuck behind some woman at the nearest stoplight who was texting instead of paying attention to the light, causing him to curse loudly and he slammed his palm against the center of the steering wheel to honk the horn. His knuckles turned white while he drove, his grip tightening as his mind raced with thoughts about you. What happened? Were you okay? What if the worst happened? That was normal, normal things to think and worry about in regards to a coworker, nothing more. It was friendly concern and friendly racing to an accident scene to check on you. Normal. Friendly.
Buck’s jokes were met with half-hearted laughs and distracted nods, not that he noticed because he was laughing at his own jokes like they were the funniest thing he heard. Hen laughed, too, not because the jokes were funny but because Buck was kind of her friend and she wanted to be supportive. Okay, it’s because his jokes were so awful that it was impossible not to laugh at. Buck and Hen bowed out with a pat on the leg and a friendly smile when Josh showed up, barely remembering to put his car in park as he pulled up to the scene. He had to resist the urge to pull you into his arms, to hug you, to make sure you were safe and you had to resist the urge to get up, to fall into him, to hold him close until you forgot your morning trip to the bank. You and him had been dancing around each other for too long, even Carrie from accounting and Joe the janitor would roll their eyes at you two when they caught an almost intimate but utterly awkward encounter.
“Maddie told me you got in an accident, I had to… I had the afternoon off so I thought I’d stop by to check on you,” he lied as he took a cautious step closer and suddenly you could see everything Maddie told you, everything you couldn’t see, no, refused to see, before. You could tell when he was lying, knew his voice and ticks from his calls when he tried to reassure people things would be okay when they clearly wouldn’t be. And… Screw it. Now was as good of a time as any to take a leap of faith, to take a risk and reap the rewards. It wouldn’t be easy but it helped to still have post-car accident adrenaline coursing through your veins making you feel like maybe, just maybe, everything would work out.
“I’m fine, just a few little scratches. No stitches, no broken bones,” you reassured him with a warm smile as you got up from your spot sitting on the edge of the ambulance. Holding up your arms to show the few bandages, you proved that you were truly okay. You boldly took a step forward to get closer to him, to close the respectful work colleague gap in favor of breaching into the I-want-more zone. “Since you have the afternoon off,” you began, a hint of sarcasm and knowing to your voice, before adding on, “let’s go to lunch. A date.”
“Will I get a kiss at the end?” Josh asked with a wide grin and a suggestive eyebrow wiggle. He offered his hand, which you gladly took, and led you away from the accident scene. Or a few feet away from the ambulance, which allowed Hen and Chim to clean up and pack up their gear. The other paramedics across the street were dealing with the angry man, having a much less pleasant time than anyone else. You felt bad for them, knew their job was hard enough without the difficult, whiny assholes yelling and waving their arms around.
“Only if you take me home,” you answered, happy to finally be going on a date with the man you had spent too much time staring at from afar. The nights in bed spent thinking about break room conversations and morning walks in when you happened to park next to one another. The pre-planned conversations and moments you rehearsed saying “good morning, Josh” in the mirror no one would ever know about. You were stopped by a woman who came to stand in front of you, block you from leaving. “I was hoping to do this later,” you offered up hopefully only to be met with an amused laugh.
“Uh-uh, honey, no special treatment. You have to answer questions, fill out your report,” Sargeant Athena Grant said and you groaned in response, reminding her of the times she would tell her teenage daughter no and be met with an attitude. You knew you would have to fill out an accident report, answer questions but you hoped you could go to the station after lunch or later in the day. Anytime other than now when you were about to finally go on a date with Josh. You were so close! At least Athena had the decency to look a little guilty from pulling you away at the worst time to take care of the worst paperwork after the worst morning.
“Go, I’ll wait for you,” Josh promised, grateful to take a minute to call into work to take the rest of the day off. He didn’t even have to come up with a lie, everyone in the office was so happy that you two finally made a move. The betting pool, after way too long, finally closed and the one patient winner was thrilled to win the whole pot. Yeah, Maddie was the worst friend for getting $300 richer betting on your love life. And if Maddie greeted you the next day with a knowing grin and nudge, you couldn’t bring yourself to mind one bit. Especially not when you caught Josh smiling at you from his desk.

"I'm sorry, what?" Carly asks when Olivia tells her the news. "You- repeat that, please."
"Jason has been shot. He's going to the hospital right now. I didn't get a good look at him or anyone, really, but I do know that he's not doing so hot right now. Go to GH, I'll handle everything tonight," Olivia repeats, urging her to leave. "Do you want me to call Sonny?"
"God no. I-I'll do it myself. Thank you," the blonde says, rushing to catch her breath and get to her purse, behind the bar. He's been shot. With a gun. This is exactly what she didn't want to happen to him. Dammit!
She doesn't have the time to fall apart, though, and calls Michael when she locates her phone in her purse. "Michael. Jason's been shot. I'm heading to GH right now," she rushes out before ending the call and fumbling for her keys.
Finally getting the keys, she sprints to her car and runs every red she sees, not caring about getting a ticket or whatever. The hospital's only a few minutes away, so she's able to get there in record time and runs in the doors, conveniently right at the time Michael shows up with an anxious Willow, Dante, Wiley, and Monica. "Mom, what's going on?"
"Jason got shot," she forces out, the realization of what happened sinking down on her like the way a bullet sinks into the skin.
That was a morbid metaphor.
"Where's Dad? Does he know what happened?" Michael asks impatiently. He's probably thinking about his personal experience with guns: He got shot and was in a coma for awhile.
"He's at home, I haven't told him yet," Carly sighs, processing.
"Why isn't he here? Jason's his best friend, Mom. Did Dad get shot too?" Michael continues to ask and she sighs again. Well, better now than never he finds out. Though this is incredibly unideal timing.
"No, he's fine. It's just that Sonny's not exactly thrilled with either Jason or me right now."
"What happened?"
"It's a long story," the blonde shakes her head quickly. "I want to tell you but right now we should all be focused on how Jason's doing and what his condition is."
"Carly?" Elizabeth asks, confused. "What are you doing here?'
"It's Jason. He, he's been shot," Carly manages to get out, her heart breaking again. That's the last time she ever wants to say those words. God, why couldn't he be a farmer or something, maybe a musician or a normal person with a mundane job?
Well, then again, if he was, Carly probably wouldn't have cared much about him. Normal people bore her, it's why she kept coming back to Sonny.
"He's been what?" Elizabeth asks. "How did this happen?"
"I don't know. All I know is we heard sirens outside of the Metro Court and Olivia went outside to figure out what was going on and then Jason was being loaded into an ambulance for a gunshot wound. He's not here yet?" Carly asks, containing her sobs and minor hatred for her.
"No, he's not. How did you get here faster than him?"
"May or may not have broken several traffic laws."
"We were at the hospital for Wiley's appointment," Michael says, gesturing to the clan of Q's and Dante with him.
"We have an ambulance coming in, gunshot wound to the chest!" Portia informs everyone and that's when the very first tear is shed from her. The chest? How the hell do you shoot someone in the chest in that parking garage? How didn't she think of this before, that someone could go and shoot them in plain sight; HER parking garage was a target too. Great. Just great.
The stretcher with him is rushed in and everything becomes blurry as she fights off the tears. Nope, not today. He is not dying today if she's got anything to say about it.
"Male, 48, GSW to the chest. Sats are staying roughly the same and BP is as well. Found him in his car. Apparently there might be a gunman running around town. Cops didn't find anything at the scene," the paramedic says quickly, rushing him into the nearest room.
"That's Jason," Willow gasps, gripping her husband's hand.
"Yes it is. And I bet I know who shot him, too! One of Cyrus's guys," Michael says and his mother can feel the anger coming off of him.
"Michael. Causing a scene won't help anything here. Let's just let them do their jobs and tell us what we need to know when we need to know it," Carly says uncharacteristically. She's never, ever calm when anyone gets into an accident like this.
"Carly, are you okay?" Dante questions his stepmom.
"No."
"I'm calling Sonny. No arguing," he says to her, walking away.
She gives herself a minute to collect her thoughts before thinking about how disastrous Dante calling Sonny is. For all they know, he gave the damm order!
Put some faith in the guy, Carly. He is your husband, after all.
That's how, twenty minutes later, Sonny ends up finally showing up at GH with Joss, who's clearly worried. By the looks of it, Sonny's been pretty damn loud with his rage. She just hopes he didn't scare her too bad. It takes a lot to rattle her mini me, though, and so this reaction is concerning.
"Mom, I need to talk to you for a minute," Joss asks, looking highly concerned.
"Sure, hon. Let's just wait for the doctors to tell us what's going on with Jason first, okay?" The blonde suggests to her daughter, who nods her agreement as Portia walks towards them.
"Jason has to be taken into surgery to remove the bullet. He has stabilized and that's a good sign. Carly, you have his power of attorney, right?" Portia asks and Carly nods. "Good. I'm going to need you to sign off on this paperwork for the surgery before we can actually dislodge the bullet."
Thankfully there's a pen attached to the clipboard Portia extends to her and so Carly signs off quickly, not even registering what she's signing. "Can we see him?"
Portia sighs, considering it. "We won't have the OR prepped for a few more minutes, so if you like, you can visit one at a time."
Not wasting another minute, Carly hands her the clipboard and walks into the room seeing the very disheartening sight of him going in and out of consciousness, groaning in pain. She sheds a few years and he notices her presence in the room. "Carly? What are you doing here?"
"You got shot," she answers simply.
"Yes, I did," he nods, confused.
"You're not allowed to die," she tells him firmly. "You simply cannot. I will not be okay if you do and I know that if I tell you that you'll fight harder. So I'm telling it to you as best I can, I won't be okay if you die. You put me through it once, and I will be damned if I let that happen again. You'll survive this, promise me."
"Carly," he sighs, "you know I can't make you that promise. I promise you that I'll do my best to survive this."
"Don't make me guilt trip you," she threatens playfully.
"I get the gist of it and need to get this bullet out of me, so please go so the doctors can save me and you can give me more headaches with your plans," he smiles at her before drifting out of consciousness again. Ugh.
"Fine," she agrees though she doesn't want to, "I'll agree to that. Don't you dare die on me though. I love you."
As she leaves the room, a single tear falls from her eyes that she quickly wipes away, putting on a brave face for the kids. "He's gonna make it out of this, I have faith he will," Dante assures her.
"Thanks. I needed that," Carly smiles at him. "Now, Joss, do you want to go talk about this somewhere else?"
"Yeah, please," the teenager agrees.
They walk away and as soon as they're out of earshot, Joss asks, "Did you and Jason kiss?"
That was... Direct. "Yes," Carly admits, studying her daughter's face for any sign of not being okay with it or anything else like that but instead notices there's a sigh of relief. What the hell?
Noting the expression on her mom's face, Joss says, "Sonny was losing his mind at home, he screamed about it. He was scaring Avery and Donna so I took them outside and had them play for a few minutes while he was losing it and went inside. He was drinking... Something, I couldn't tell, and I asked him what the hell he was doing. That was probably a dumb thing to do, though, because he started yelling at me about how I was going to hate you and that he needed to tell me before you two got to but then Dante called him and so we came here."
Carly engulfs her daughter in a hug at that, mama bear and Jason got shot rage all combining into one. Sonny's got good reason to be scared if he's not already. "Oh Joss, I am so sorry you had to deal with that. Sonny shouldn't have been drinking in the first place around you girls. Thank you, for taking your little sisters outside."
"Of course. I figured he's just angry about something, so when I found out we were going here I was happy he wasn't seeing things or off his lithium," Joss beans at her mom. "I don't want anything bad happening to Jason, of course, but I was scared, Mom. Scared of what he was gonna do."
"You have every right to that fear," she smiles at her. "When he gets like this, it's completely unacceptable behavior. I'm so sorry he did that to you. He had no right to scare your little sisters and you like that." He is so dead. No one messes with her kids.
"Please don't kill him," Joss jokes and Carly fakes a smile.
"I would never."
"Well, I think we've got the slightly more pressing matter of you being in love with a certain Jason Morgan to discuss," Joss smiles at her mom.
"God, Sonny really did tell all the story," Carly sighs. "Are you okay with all of this?"
"Mom," she rolls her eyes, "you're in love! This is a good thing! I'm happy for you two. Besides, you know we all love him. It's not like it'll be a huge adjustment until I move."
"Oh god, I haven't even thought of that yet," Carly sighs, pinching her temples.
"Sorry to wreck the party, but Sam's over there losing it," Monica tells them before excusing herself to go to the chapel.
"I have a headache already," Carly complains before walking to Sam. "Hey, Sam. May I ask why you're sobbing on the hospital floor?"
"Jason's been shot, Carly! Why aren't you sobbing and screaming and causing a scene?" Sam asks her.
"I know he's been shot, but I'm being strong for my kids and Monica and Willow. I've got plenty of time to fall apart and I'm barely not," she admits, "but it won't help anything. He's in surgery right now and the best thing you can do is go spend time with the kids. They need their mom."
"This is what I get for breaking up with him. He's in love with you and look at me, pathetically crying. God, this is so pathetic," Sam sighs, collecting herself after a minute. "I'm sorry about earlier."
"You were upset and lashed out. Trust me, out of you and Sonny he's the one I'd shoot first," Carly attempts to crack a smile.
Sam lets out a hollow laugh at that before leaving, confusing pretty much everyone. "Aren't her and Jason together? Why isn't she pacing the halls of GH with us?" Michael presses his mother and Sonny snaps.
"Your mother and him are in love or something disgusting like that," he says, shocking everyone. "Him and Sam have been over for a couple of weeks."
"Did-did-did he say love?" Michael stutters out, the first to collect himself enough to say that. "Like, romantically?"
"Yes," Carly admits. "Look, we can talk more about this later."
"Actually, I see this as the perfect time to talk about it," Sonny chimes in, smiling. "After all, Jason's in surgery for god knows how long and you've got nothing but time to explain to them what happened between you two today. Repeatedly."
"Oh my god, did you-" Dante starts, trailing off.
"No! God no, we did not sleep together," Carly answers quickly and Joss flicks him in the back of the head. Attagirl.
"Then what did you do?" Willow asks cautiously. Unlike everyone else here, this is her first big fight between Carly and Sonny to deal with.
"They kissed. In public. Where anyone who cared to dine at the Metro Court could see them," Sonny starts. "And them when I got upset, they both started defending each other to me and I ended up finding out that they're in love. My wife and my best friend, in love! Give it up for things I wasn't expecting this year!"
"Sonny that's enough," Joss starts in on her stepfather before Michael cuts in.
"Dad. Shut up. Mom's in love with Jason? This is a lot to wrap my head around so give me a minute," he urges of his unresponsive father.
"I'm not exactly hearing a thank you or a single- Ow, Joss, what the hell?" Sonny asks when she elbows him in the ribs.
"Stop talking down to my mom, first off, and second, don't be rude to Jason either. He's your business partner! You two have known each other forever!"
"Which is why this hurts so much, Josslyn! They've betrayed me," Sonny moans in pain when she elbows him yet again. Motherly pride fills Carly.
"Following your heart isn't betrayal, it's doing what you feel is best. It's listening to your heart no matter the consequences. You're supposed to be an adult, so start acting like one dammit! I'm embarrassed to be seen in public when you're throwing a temper tantrum so grow the hell up," Joss explains to him.
"Mom, you cheated on Dad? With Jason?" Michael asks, connecting the dots.
"Yes. I didn't mean to and I know it was wrong to do and I'm so sorry if this taints your view of either of us but it just happened so fast and," Carly gestures around the hospital. "Now we're here."
"I don't know what to feel," he admits.
"That's okay, Michael. Please, take your time to process this and work through your emotions. I'm sure you especially will have a lot of them," she smiles at her oldest son.
"Him especially?" Dante asks, confused.
"Jason raised me for the first couple years of my life and on and off since then, because Dad couldn't always do that. It's like I had two dads growing up. So this news kinda confuses me a lot and I've got lots of questions but I'm only with this," Michael dmes.
"You're siding with the?" Sonny snarls. "Really? After everything they put you through-"
"You shot me in the head and put me in a coma! They're not doing anything illegal and it's not my place to judge," Michael snaps at his father. "Joss is right, grow the hell up."
"I'm always right," she smiles at her big brother who pulls her in for a hug.
"Not always, but it happens on occasion," Michael teases her and she gently slaps his arm. "Where the hell did you learn how to hit like that?"
"I took self defense classes from Jason."
"Of course you did," Michael sighs at his sister's antics. "For when you start a massive fight."
"Ooh, good idea," she teases him.
Sonny interrupts the moment. "Hey you two, you're on her side in all of this?"
"Yes, we are, because you scared our little sisters into making me take them outside so they wouldn't have to hear you screaming. They lost their minds and they didn't know what happened to you. Honestly, neither do I!" Joss exclaims.
This is providing a good distraction from the whole Jason's having surgery thing right now, but that doesn't mean it's not at the front of everyone's mind. Everyone except Sonny, it seems, and that in and of itself is suspicious to Carly. They don't know who ordered the hit on him yet.
Too much complicated.
To be continued
