Azula looked at her, starting to feel so tired and dizzy, perhaps from the great loss of blood.

"Mai...I don't think she'll survive," She murmured softly, not wanting to cause her girlfriend any more pain.

"Damn it, of course you're going to survive," The omega growled, struggling to keep her expression but failing.

Around her, her eyes became watery as she looked at the wound in despair.

"Mai... Look at me, everything will be fine" She murmured slowly while looking at her Omega, not wanting her to cry.

"No, damn it, no" The omega cursed, trying to stop the tears that were already gathering in her eyes.

She couldn't think of a world where Azula wasn't there. I didn't want to think about that. I didn't want to live in that world.

"Mai...Don't cry, you're perfect" She murmured with difficulty, feeling so much guilt for making her beloved cry.

Tears ran freely down the omega's cheeks, which fell into Azula's wound, mixing with the blood that did not stop falling.
