for all my poking fun at the UO designs for female characters, I do want to state for the record that I actually love the visual design in this game, and I think the art style is very pretty, especially how a lot of the the color shading looks pearlescent; the character designs are super fun and the environmental design is insanely good. Character design just also happens to be my passion and my bane, so I will also break down just about any design from any form of visual media for like, basic enrichment purposes

#Berengaria's design is simultaneously the coolest and stupidest design I've ever come across I love her why does she have a codpiece #all the pretty feathered hats are making me realize the lack of pretty feathered hats in other fantasy games I've played #and now I feel robbed of a plethora of pretty feathered hats #I just met an elf who's decided that pants are an illusion but floor-length cloaks are life and honestly that's the funniest outfit combo #also characters sport their promoted outfits in things like the rapport convos and that's just? an insane amount of detail to add?#like for cost of art purposes we don't usually get characters wearing promoted gear outside of battle #I love it so much it's such a small detail but it's so cool #anyhow UO very pretty I will make fun of silly outfit designs but like mostly bc it's fun #oracle of lore
