I have been having Emma x Jekyll brainrot the entire morning and now all I can imagine is Ghost!Jekyll and Lanyon going to a masquerade and Henry dances with Emma, and Emma just feels such a nostalgic feeling dancing with this mysterious stranger that seems so familiar. Perhaps she would realise she is dancing with Jekyll’s ghost when they go outside to have a private moment in the garden, and Emma takes off her mask and Henry’s too, so tenderly and secretly affectionately. She doesn’t even get a chance to react to seeing Jekyll’s face (knowing that he is dead, of course) before someone else enters the garden and calls for her, and when she turns back Henry is gone <3 Maybe when she goes back inside she sees Henry again by Robert, yet she can’t believe what she just saw <3<3<3<3 Maybe she would try to visit the Society to see him again but the Lodgers don’t want some random aristocrat in their building so they try to shoo her away, except that’s when Henry starts melancholy play on the piano and everyone realise that’s the ghost no matter if the Lodgers know that it’s Henry or not <3<3<3<3<3<3
