genuinely afraid this heat will kill me if the power grid goes down
#heat dome#chronically ill#I lowered my dose of 1 med and I stopped taking another one all together but I still am on a full dose of 2 others that leave me overheated#and very vulnerable to heat exhaustion or heat stroke#the lights started flickering in a light storm yesterday and I panicked#I have the AC set to sixty-nine bc I'm so fucking miserable but I have every other power-sucking device turned off#even tho it's dark with the new blackout curtain I haven't turned on any lights#even Hortensia Vera's grow light so like rip Hortensia I guess you were a good aloe to me for 4 years#climate catastrophe#this is so scary#I think it's even worse than last year's apocalyptic smoke#god I hope the monkey paw didn't just curl as I wrote that we can't deal with this apocalyptic heat AND smoke choking us again this year
