Malyshka is such a sweet, loyal, well behaved dog. I'm honestly really proud of raising her, considering the difficulty of training her breed(s)

Great Pyrenees are stubborn, independent, get bored easily, and are not food motivated. Anatolian Shepherds are possessive and highly protective, so they need to be excessively socialized to avoid aggression towards strangers/other dogs

#Fun fact that admittedly illustrates my impulsivity:#I got Malyshka impulsively on the spot. I didn't even know her breed(s) or how large she would grow #But the day I brought her home I researched a ton about both breeds (Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees)#and bought several books about dog psychology/raising dogs. I had dogs growing up but they weren't MY dogs they were family dogs #I wanted to do this right and take it seriously. So I did. Training and socializing her properly took up so much of my life #and took so much patience. But it gave me a goal and a reason to live when I needed it the most. And I'm really proud to see that hard work #reflected in what a good dog she grew up to be. and how much my own life has improved as well from having her in it #Malyshka #personal
