Ammit had rallied a cult and nearly staged a coup, for refusing to let humanity go. Others were caught up, either for aiding her or for fear they would do the same. Anubis. Thoth. Ushabtis now, all hidden away in the Great Pyramid's inner walls like souvenir trinkets.

'We may not always see eye to eye, dear Khonshu.' Ammit's claws had clacked over the Senet board as she removed a pawn. 'But together, we see more than old Osiris. Join me. Together we will do what they would never dare: Turn this world into paradise.'

Honestly, I haven’t thought too deeply about Amazon Lily yet, but a few ideas crossing my mind now:

Keep in mind that the citizens of Amazon Lily who aren’t members of the Kuja Pirates are extremely sheltered from the rest of the world. Most have never seen a man before, and only have the vaguest idea of what one is, probably like a mythological beast. And well, to most people even outside Amazon Lily, Luffy literally IS a mythological beast. 

So while on one hand, no one on the island finds her alarming for her gender, think of how they reacted to canon!Luffy, who they thought was a Village Girl with a Weird Mushroom That Doesn’t Come Off. Now imagine how they might react to We Thought She Might Be A Village Girl Except She’s LITERALLY HALF FISH. Turns out that she is indeed a girl this time, but STILL half fish. I feel like in the ranking of things that are Very Strange And Alarming, the mermaid scenario is a bit more extreme ^ ^;

And, well, I imagine the rest might proceed more or less as canon. Luffy’s still Luffy, and rude and brash and nothing like they’ve seen before. And while Hancock may have a slight soft spot for fishmen/mer due to her past with Fisher Tiger, she still sentences Luffy to a public execution because regardless of her gender, Luffy still broke into her palace while Hancock was bathing, the GREATEST taboo, and saw the brand on her back on top of that.

So yeah, honestly the rest is...pretty much same as canon? Except Hancock’s fantasies may be more focussed on seeing Luffy in a beautiful wedding dress and getting to scoop her up, rather than the other way around...

(speaking of which, the main thing that bothers me about Hancock’s romantic shoujo fantasies in canon is not so much that she has them, but that they’re SO general heteronormative. I don’t mean that in the sense of bashing it, just that I find it hard to believe that a woman who grew up in a culture of all women would have such personal knowledge and cravings for Luffy being, well, manly. I know that unlike most of Amazon Lily’s citizens, Hancock very much knows what a man is, but I doubt to the extent of being interested in learning about heterosexual romance, especially after her experience in Mariejois. I know I’m over thinking it and it’s just to make her funny and relatable to the audience in OUR world, but why WOULDN’T she want to see canon guy Lu in a cute wedding dress too, if we assume that’s the normal wedding standard in her culture????--) 

(You know what, while I’m on this tangent. This is a very personal headcanon that everyone’s free to ignore, but while I think it’s very easy to assume that everyone on Amazon Lily is lesbian, much like DCU’s Themyscira by which it was likely inspired, and in many ways they ARE lesbian by our world’s standards--I feel like in-universe, their experience with sexuality/gender is very different from ours and hard to define by our terms. By which I mean, they are a SINGLE gender society. They don’t have any concept of opposite OR same gender, or actually I doubt Gender at all. They’re called the island of Women, but “Women” here is synonymous with “People” or “Humans”. Sure, they’ve heard of “Men” out there, but most of them will never leave the island, which is literally smack dab in the middle of the Calm Belt. So they’re women, but their “woman-ness” isn’t at all defined by being contrasted against men or any other gender, if that makes sense.

That isn’t to say that say, trans or nb people don’t exist. In fact, I strongly HC that Hancock has ties to Ivankov’s Kamabakka Kingdom, and they regularly exchange citizens depending on their lifestyle preferences (an active warrior lifestyle in the jungle, vs island paradise with access to modern fashion). Dunno how else to explain Daisy, a Kuja Pirate with a distinctively masculine laugh, she can’t really have picked that up on Amazon Lily....but I digress. I just HC that most people born and raised on Amazon Lily lack any concept of gender and therefore sexual preferences based on them.

The point of this long rant to say, I don’t think Hancock’s attraction to Luffy in canon OR this AU is at all based on gender; she’s attracted to Luffy for LUFFY, however you choose to define that. So really, even tho Luffy’s a girl in this AU, I doubt Hancock sees any difference, or would act any different as a result! End rant LMAO)

and he gets to turn around and ace still has his hands over sabo’s eyes and gives him a kiss and he’s like. trying not to smile because. he loves them. and it’s really nice to be surprised like this. Normally he has to go visit them instead, they don’t often get to see him.

but Marco just grins at him and he’s like “nahhh, we have time for that later.”

and also the dock is pretty and leads into a beach and it’s disguised as a abandoned fishing town/tourist trap, so he thought they’d like it.

and they do, if the fact that Ace hasn’t stopped grinning, is anything to go by. he just. also. needs to pee. and ace’s smile needs to stop distracting him.

but ace keeps dragging him around and he doesn’t want to say anything, so he’s like nah! it’s gonna be totally fine! We can stop for some food or snacks and I’ll just have a moment to myself then.

but also he’s trying not to get a little turned on. aching to go, and also, thinking about how humiliating it’d be, for his boyfriends to see him hard when they’re just hanging out for kicks, or how nice but confused they’d be, if Sabo accidentally-

oh shit, oh fuck, that was definitely a leek, Sabo can feel it, the sudden release of tension rocketing through him, feeling so good, and he gives a tiny, sharp little gasp and bites his lip and Marco / Ace are like "Sabo? What’s wrong? Are you okay?” and they’re just touching him, Ace trying to pick away at his coat to see if he’s injured, Marco feeling for a temperature and then at his neck for a pulse, and Sabo’s skin is singing at their touch, at their care, the lingering trace of their fingertips, and he grabs Marco’s laps and grits his teeth and he’s like

“Look, I just really need to pee.”    

“Then....just go?” Ace suggests, looking at him with a confused frown, and oh god Sabo’s now just imagining if Ace actually meant it the way Sabo’s brain suddenly leapt to, for Sabo to just go, piss staining his crotch and trickling down his leg to pool on the sand, and Sabo can just imagine how good it would feel if he-

“Oh,” says Marco, cupping his cheek. Sabo will not look at them, but he can absolutely feel how red-hot his cheeks get under Marco’s touch, under the weight of that tone.

“You don’t wanna go, do you, Sabo?” he says carefully, and Ace makes an even more confused sounding huh? next to them. “You just like- feeling like you have to. Is that right?”

“Shut upppp,” Sabo hisses, and Ace is like, computing next to him, and Sabo is so so so embarrassed and so fucking turned on that he’s hard as shit and they haven’t even touched him

wow! great! at least he can’t pee with his dick hard as fuck! but also!

“Wha-?” he says, knowing now he’s the one who sounds like a confused idiot, and Marco just cocks his head and looks at him

“I- I mean- I don’t-” and both of them are paused & staring at him and his cheeks are aflame as he manages a jagged nod, and then Marco gives him a quick kiss and when he pulls back Ace is just like

And ace just grins and is like, “I mean, it is pretty hot seeing you squirm like this.”

So fucking humiliated at Ace & Marco watching him, loose and boneless from his orgasm, but also. they’re watching, watching him make a mess, watching him piss on the sand because he couldn’t hold it back any longer, and he can feel himself getting turned on again as the relief mixes with that preening sense of humiliation and exhibitionism.  ️

anyway 4 basic headcanons i kinda think Marco doesn’t really get it/isnt interested in trying it but he likes seeing Sabo desperate. He’s already very good at knowing what will humiliate sabo, this is just another tool in his arsenal, one that used by itself is more than enough to get sabo worked up and crying. he likes. seeing sabo cry.

ace has tried it a couple of times and sorta sees where Sabo’s coming from? but he likes being told he’s a good boy for holding it, for drinking when he’s told, he likes the control aspects more than the humiliation aspects, and sabo likes wetting himself and being mocked but ace is always ): when he “fails”.

TMNT 2003/2k3 Headcanon: Crying - (Leonardo)

Feel free to scroll past this first part if you’re not interested in my silly rambling and nonsense. I won’t mind. Promise. ;)

Okey-dokey then, with the global epidemic that is the Coronavirus well in action and most of the world stuck in lockdown (starting this Friday for us too), felt like getting the ‘ol creative juices flowing with a little headcanon-y thingy in preparation for -possibly- more fandom writings to keep myself busy during the house arrest (well... it kinda is!) and hopefully my mind off all the bad news. :( 

Also, this is totally my first one on the blog! WOOT! Please bear in mind that I’m SUPER rusty! Haven’t written in ages so there are bound to be typos and all matter of general errors scattered throughout the post. Don’t pet them! They bite!  

Anyhoo~ Despite attempting to create and share with the goal in mind to uplift spirits, I decided to start on a rather upsetting subject (PLEASE DON’T LEAVE! They end on happy notes ;) ) because, Imma just come and say it, I enjoy seeing my favourite characters shed tears (not for just any old reason -their personality plays a huge role in this- and CERTAINLY not for sadistic reasons, land sakes no! But... well, you’ll see~ ;) ) It makes me all gooey and fuzzy inside to see them display such raw emotion and I just wanna leap into the TV screen to hug and console them. I dunno why. Maybe I’m nuts like that. (Remembers Raph crying at the farm when Leo was badly injured and wishes she could just hug them all and take away the pain) Oh well, if you enjoy visualizing the same, then *High Fives*. :)

-- It’s no easy feat to make the leader in blue turn on the waterworks. Leo won’t cry for any old reason. It’s not because he has no emotions, far from it, but being the leader of a small ninja clan -who happen to be family as well- is no easy task in itself: he has a lot on his young shoulders and deals with many issues on a daily basis few his age ever have to.

-- It’s because of these reasons that Leo doesn’t cry often. One of the lesser likely to out of the four brothers. But when he does, it’s an emotionally distressing sight to behold. 

-- Leo tends to cry whenever those closest to him -namely his brothers, his father/master and truest friends- are severely injured or are in a dire situation. Remember his angry/moody arc? The thought of losing any of them causes him great pain and distress, especially if he were the cause of any of it, and when that happens, he can’t stop the dampness that forms around his eyes and soaks into his mask. 

-- He’s not fond of crying, especially in front of others, even though he fully comprehends its normalcy. He feels he needs to be everyone’s rock, their fortress of physical and emotional stability to turn to for strength when things get rough... So when the tears start to fall, he feels he can’t show them, can’t allow them to watch him crumble under the gripling weight of helplessness and anguish.

-- He frantically wipes at his eyes and desperately attempts not to sniffle, but it’s a hopeless battle, for his tears are already a steady stream. 

-- He’ll try to hide when possible, usually retreating to his room to allow the worst of the emotions to spill over before returning to the others... Though he may be in there a while: when Leo lets his emotions go, it can be just as powerful as his red-banded brother’s rage. 

-- He spares no time in making sure the coast is clear for the tears are already streaming by the time he reaches his futon, and there’s no stopping them now as he lets himself drop to his knees, only halfway onto the mattress. He purposefully leaves the room unlit, cloaking his form in the darkness. 

-- He sniffs a few times as he shuffles up against the wall, sitting upright against it, bringing his legs up and hugging them loosely and droops his head against a single knee pad. 

-- His voice desperately wishes to escape. To express its misery. But he won’t allow it to, often placing one hand over his face in a bid to quell the sadness and remain silent in the battle against his own inner turmoil. He refuses to let anyone see him in that state of utter sorrow and vulnerability.

-- He whimpers ever so slightly and coughs a few times as breathing becomes difficult. He knows this episode won’t be over any time soon. Fortunately, he keeps some tissues next to his bed for such rare occasions and tries not to blow too loudly. He thinks back to the last time he cried so hard... It’s been a while. It felt like a build up. 

-- Time has been forgotten as he’s lost in deep thought. By the time he slips a hand across his eyes, only the material of his mask is still slightly damp. He clears his nostrils a couple of times before considering whether he was ready to return to his family. He’d of course straighten up his bedding beforehand, and would also require a trip to the bathroom to wash his face. A true ninja leaves no evidence. 

-- Leo tries to put the horrifying images out of head before leaving his quarters. He doesn’t wish to be weighed down again and thus maybe cause his emotions to come out a second time. He knew someone would catch on that time. Instead, he holds his head up high, focusing on the there and now to carry him forward.  

BONUS EXTRA~

-- Failure is also one of his greatest foes. Leo despises it, but not in the irrational sense; he fully comprehends that in order to grow, one has to lose in order to learn and thus, succeed in turn, and while it can frustrate him when he’s unsuccessful at mastering a martial arts technique for example, he understanders it’s part of the process and that no one’s perfect. 

-- It’s when his slipups could spell casualties or death to his family and/or friends is when it weighs down on him like a boulder strapped to his shell. 

-- A really big one. 

-- And it hurts. So much so that it causes him to become despondent and often teary-eyed when no one’s looking.

-- Boi Bloo might also cry from especially sad movie scenes. He gets seriously into the story, and when the scene is just right -perfect music, perfect timing etc.- you may just catch Fearless with watery eyes. 

-- He can’t help it. After all, he’s a leader, and very caring and kind-hearted individual, so movies showing children or anyone/anything defenceless getting hurt has him not only visibly upset, but also angry at the cause. He’s a softie like that. 

-- He won’t have a meltdown, of course, but the tears are definitely there. Just don’t tease him too much; he’s easily embarrassed by it. ;) 

BONUS EXTRA EXTRA FEMALE READER OR S/O EDITION~ (Can also use an OC/FC insert if you wish, up to you)

You had figured something was up by the time you’d finished greeting everyone in the Splinterson household except for the Turtle you’d long to see most and he hadn’t made his presence yet known. 

The idea that he must’ve been practicing or meditating swiftly vanished when Mikey told you he’d been in his room in the dark for the past few hours. “The guy hardly ever naps, and even so, never this long.” He’d told you. “I dunno, (Y/N), we were about to check on ‘im when you arrived, but maybe you should be the one to. Think he’d really appreciate it.” And there was absolutely no argument from your side as you were already making your way up to the room.

You didn’t know what to expect as you neared the doorway. Could he possibly still just be sleeping? Meditating in the dark instead of his usual spot by the training area? Or... was he sick? The latter now had you concerned and you picked up your pace... Only to pause mid step when an unmistakable sound reached your ears: a sniffle.

Had it come from within his room? It was the only logical explanation as everyone else was downstairs. You were truly perturbed now as you stood outside the doorway and called out the ‘eldest’ Turtle’s name.

There was some shuffling to be heard but you were unable to tell for sure what he was doing -probably trying to neaten up his bed- “(Y/N)? Just a second, okay?” he responded in a rather awkward verging on frantic tone, and you were certain you heard another sniffle escape him. 

That, along with the way he’d replied really didn’t help to put your mind at ease. “Leo, are you alright?” Nor was the pitch blackness in which he remained concealed in.

“Yeah, just... l-looking for something.” There was some more shuffling as if to prove his point, but you were having none of it.

“Then maybe this,” you began, turning around to flick the light switch, “will help?”

“No! Wait!” But it was a split second too late for as soon the brightness illuminated the entire room, you had caught the telltale signs of an emotional meltdown in progress plastered on his face before he quickly turned away and briskly wiped an arm across his face, attempting to hide the shame... or perhaps embarrassment? 

“Leo...?” your heart and voice softened, “Hey, what’s wrong?” You automatically walked to him, closing the gap he was now trying to form. 

“Nothing,” he lied, and acknowledged it was a fruitless attempt but still couldn’t stop himself. Autopilot panic mode was enabled now. “It’s nothing.” 

Unfortunately for him, autopilot mother hen mode was activated for you as you reached with both hands to his carapace and shoulder, gently turning him to face you. “I can see that it’s something.” Your words were gentle, and you wanted nothing more than to take away his pain. “Look at me, Honey.” His body was turned but his head remained to the side. It was clear he didn’t want his obvious distress on display, even to you. “Please, Leo?” You tried again, and slowly but surely, his eyes met yours, and you felt your heart sink further.

The fabric of his mask was wet and eyes were still red with fresh tears that threatened to fall. He appeared so broken and helpless as he stared at you, and even though he uttered no words, you could practically hear him despairingly ask “Is this what you wanted? To see me at my lowest?” from his expression alone. 

Never had you witnessed the leader of this band of mutant brothers cry. At times you had wondered if he ever did, and yet here he was; the incredible pillar of strength and dignity you had come to know and adore, in tears and so dejected that you couldn’t stop your own eyes from becoming damp the more you gazed at him. “Oh, Sweety...” You whispered as you felt your soul shatter. It was too much to bear. You slowly wrapped your arms around him, one around the midsection and the other over his shoulder, and buried your face into his leathery neck, offering every ounce of comfort you could muster.

It didn’t take him long at all to sink into the embrace and return the action. Beyond the point of concerning himself with showing the pain he felt -or the wetness now soaking into your shoulder when he placed his forehead against it- he sniffed and finally allowed the tears to fall once again as fresh waves of emotion surged throughout his body.

And this time, he couldn’t keep the whimpering to himself.

“Shh~ It’s okay, it’s okay,” you soothed, lightly patting and rubbing along the scutes of his shell as he weakly sobbed, finally letting go of all the sadness that gripped him. 

You weren’t even aware of what was wrong, and you most likely wouldn’t find out til later once he calmed down, but right now, he just needed you to hold him. Hold him until the hurt was gone... And so you would. 

AND THAT’S ALL SHE WROTE!

ALL THE FEELS!! I EMBARRASS!!

OMGosh, this turned into a monster! The mother of all HCs!! :O No seriously, this wasn’t meant to be this long! I was suppose to squish all four into one itty bitty little post, but then it just grew... and grew... and GREW! Anyhoo~ I can’t really say if I’m entirely content with the whole thing, I dunno. I feel some parts are better than others (writing style-wise) but yeah, I really need to get back into the swing of things...

Speaking of which, I DO plan on adding my two cents on the other bois as well, but judging by how this one turned out, they’ll most likely all be this length, more or less, so each Turt will get his own post so I can really jot down those details with all the freedom in the world! That being said, I can’t say when they’ll be added but hopefully soon-ish. :) Raph's next on the list!

turns out that there’s MORE questions to this meme! (here’s the first part!) so i’m gonna fill the rest with.....themst

One thing one character likes about their partner just one thing! that's silly! i'll consider this in the sense of the FIRST thing they like about each other. max's cheerfulness is already charming of course but i'd imagine what really gets rei is how smart and observant he actually is under that bubbly surface.

17. Now one thing that the other character likes about the first chara the first thing max notices is that rei has beautiful hair is STRONK

18. Who confessed? i don't think i have one definite headcanon about that. depends on my mood how it turns out but in canonverse i'm rather fond of the hc that neither actually confesses because it's not needed

19. How long did they know each other before getting together? again canonically speaking, i'd want them to be a little older so maybe four years or so. but i have fics that go way faster

20. Who's the ship's biggest in-universe supporter? i have this headcanon that kai is like a silent supporter who always knows What Up before the others even know themselves. and then max's dad tbh

21. Any rivals for the ship? well. i mean. considering that rei/mao is a canon ship that exists, that's just the setting it inevitably comes down to although i just consider it a separate reality of my own canonverse headcanons. it's also something i use in fics sometimes like anyone reading 4kingdoms knows, although i'm not even a fan of love triangles but i mean, can't skip the delicious drama tbh. in the music fic i'm writing rn there's also a kind of a rick/max thing going on that rei's not happy about

22. Any mutual friends? HMM!

23. Have they met each other's families? well we know rei has met max's in canon.. but then... well yes i'd think max would meet rei's parents since he'd inevitably want to visit rei's home village at some point

What's one conflict they've had? i honestly don't remember rn if they've had any conflict in canon. neither is really the type to get worked up easily. even when they fought each other they just had fun with it. love these dumbasses. anyway their main source of conflict is how max wants to pour mayo on every food rei makes

25. What's one way they've resolved a conflict? probably a bey battle tbh

26. What's one location that's important to them? i've actually written a fic about the training room they meet at to leave together in the beginning of g-revolution

27. What's one object that's important to them? dunno if i care about this question much. naming an object for both feels silly

28. What's one food/beverage that's important to them? can definitely imagine they like stuffing themselves together but i don't have any specific food headcanon, their tastes probably clash tbh

29. What's one thing they do in their free time together? blading--- i think they'd enjoy anything sports-related in general. maybe they go hiking and swimming together. that cute

30. What's one thing they do in their free time apart? they both meditate but prefer to do it apart. i drew a comic about that once. that was more like it's just rei who wants to do it apart though because max gets too touchy feely

Whats one thing character A might gift their partner? going with rei first again. i'd imagine max is incredibly easy to get gifts for, he's the kind to be excited about anything as long as it's a surprise. usually rei gives him something food-related because he on the other hand is not very imaginative

32. What's one thing character A's partner might gift back? max likes creating things with his own hands and giving those as gifts. sometimes they're ugly af but rei pretends they're great

33. How would they react to long distance? it's harder for max but ultimately they probably react pretty well since they've been spending time apart before as well without it affecting their friendship

34. How would they react to an ex showing up? TOO YOUNG FOR EXES!!! but in the scenario that they date other people before actually getting together: max is a bit clingy in general so he might actually have some jealousy issues about it. rei is very calm but he's also very sensitive so maybe he'd be the same but with the difference that max has no issues expressing his feelings freely while rei tries to act mature and like things don't bother him when they actually do.

35. Describe one date i feel like their dates wouldn't be very date-like in the traditional sense. it's just they go do stuff together. especially in that favourite scenario of mine where there's never even really a confession and they just sort of smoothly slide from being friends to being together, they'd go on "dates" that neither actually realises are dates

36. Describe one example of comforting after a bad day well that would require a whole fic. considering how often rei loses in canon, he probably has a whole lot more of bad days and max is probably the best person in the world at comforting others. like one big hug from him and nobody can remain depressed. actually i like exploring the opposite more since max also falls harder when he's having dark moments and rei can be king of awkward sometimes. i'm not even answering these questions i'm just sort of brainstorming things somewhat related to them

37. Describe one reunion after time apart there are enough reunions in canon (even though they don't focus on the boys' feelings about it whatsoever) also pretty sure the fic i already linked above was about a reunion

Describe their ideal home in their case i gotta say they probably are Stereotypical Guys in the sense that i can't imagine them caring much about making a home. neither even has a static concept of home so i think they'd actually travel around together and live here and there (just that max is a whole lot more picky about the quality of these places than rei who can probably sleep anywhere)

39. Describe their first kiss an unfair question! one of my favourite passtimes is constantly coming up with new scenarios of their first kiss. just read some fic of mine for one version

40. Describe their first time likewise but this i haven't written into a fic yet. too bad. basically my two constants are that either a) things just sort of escalate after some sort of emotional high like them winning a tournament or whatever (even better if they don't even make it out of the tournament area. so swept by the moment) or b) max is the one who initiates things (also first kiss) because rei is an awkward mess

41. Would they have any pets? probably not for the same no static home reason, though max would probably want a dog (but rei probably doesn't like dogs since. he's. a cat)

42. Would they get married? nah that's really hard for me to imagine. don't even know which country they could get married in, the US??

43. Would they have any kids? no. let's not talk about the fact that i have designed a kid for them

49. Give each character an rpg class rei would be either a warrior or maybe a monk in the martial arts sense, and max would be a mage with shield magic like he has in my 4kingdoms (maybe healing magic also and stuff)
