its always annoying when you reblog something that on its own is normal and understandable, but then someone reblogs it from you and you know they're doing so for reasons which you directly oppose and that are a misinterpretation of the sentiment behind (why you reblogged) the post

#o.#I wish I could complain about the insertion of AI into everything without it seeming like I agree with the ''omg its killing all the water''#people #I need to append a disclaimer that explains how machine learning works after every AI post I reblog/make #both sides in the 'debate' abt AI drive me absolutely insane. none of you know how it works #and I don't know either!!! my dad has told me about how the stuff he uses at his job works and I've watched some videos and read a little on #it but I am NOT an expert or even a computer scientist or anything #so I don't wanna be the one to be like hey this is how it actually works (at least not without a bajillion disclaimers) & here's why yall #are all wrong #bc the whole thing I'm mad about is uninformed people making a moral panic about how awful AI is #I don't want to accidentally insert more misinformation bc I think I understand more than I do #anyway.
