Adalyn beamed slightly at the thought of it, her eyes sparkling with interest. It's been a while since she met an aristocrat.

“Speaking of which, you're quite famous around these parts, no? I would like to ask you on a few things... And trust me, it's not related to matches. Just something else. Are you free after this?”

The woman seems rather curious of the other. She might just ask him about photography and such, who knows?

He looked rather prim and proper, but the novelist knew he’s a hunter. Despite being warned about others that he’d look like black and white and is unforgiving in matches, he looked proper and gorgeous… But to her?

He looks normal. Almost deceivingly so.

Despite this, she’s a lot smarter than one may think. After all, being in the manor for God knows how long does things to someone. And she knew not to be fooled by this aristocrat looking hunter.

“Likewise to you too, sir Joseph. I believe my first few matches will be tomorrow, so it’d be a honor to be in a match with you.”

Simple yet humble flattery. She’s simply just trying to keep her head together, but her internal self is taking note of Joseph— from his body language to his actions.

Perhaps she can take note of how he acts… Especially on matches.
