TLOVM SPOILERS
I'm fascinated by what it means to Bard's Lament if Scanlan isn't present for something that was as traumatic to Vox Machina as Glintshore was. In tlovm it's more centered on the fact he has to choose between staying with the group or building a relationship with his daughter, but it isn't just about him feeling neglected by them - he was in a pretty bad place, mentally speaking. What does it mean that in Bard's Lament he turns away again, when he already did here two other times, and a vm member suffered greatly?
