Genuinely shocked at how much I'm liking Blood of Zeus
#I don't generally mind adaptations featuring the theoi#the greeks were using them as characters in comedies long before Percy Jackson and Disney's Hercules#but i have a tendency to roll my eyes at adaptations of anything I know the source material of#because so often they're one-note#i actually like Zeus's characterization a lot tho#big Rodrigo Borgia of the Borgias vibes#Hera's vindictiveness could have a little more nuance but yanno#also I actively yelled when cerberus came out because OF COURSE#Addressing Hermes as a psychopomp tho!!!#Hermes and Apollo working together!!#I'm only on episode 3 so let's hope it stays all right#also IN LOVE with Seraphim's delivery and character for the whole half hour he's been around
