Jumping off from that last post but a thought I have all the time is that men Bow Out of having long hair after growing it out for a hot minute bc it starts to look ratty... and they were just expecting it to be gorgeous. but they’re still using their Men’s Short Hair Care Methods on their long hair, and the thing that kept the short hair healthy was never any of the hair care, it was just the fact that the old hair kept getting cut off before it had a chance to be damaged.

#men will be towel scruffing their hair dry and using a dime sized amount of conditioner with drying ingredients in it #and washing their scalps with head and shoulders #and be like WHY isn't me growing my hair out yielding gorgeous locks...#baby girl it's bc you're not taking care of it. take my hand... we'll get you some new hair products. and styling products.#and you're going to start blotting your hair dry with a tshirt. set the towel down...#sergle.txt #I don't even have the healthiest hair either girl it's Bleach Damaged but STILL
