Hairdye being oddly common in fantasy settings nowadays, Lex was supposed to be the Prince, and would have used red hairdye to pretend to be a random and not, well, the prince.

He would have had a body double too? Wow, I wonder what this plot bunny would have gone lol

Gilbert being the "main character" but scrapped because he wasn't mature enough is hilarious, especially since he shows a lot of maturity in his Alain's supports (but I suppose his self-doubts weren't considered "mature" for the protag they had in mind?)... unless by "mature" they prefered a taller protag lol (or GT is messing with me).

I know the devs designed the "Unicorn Knight" as a concept (the sprite of a woman on a horse/unicorn that was later re-used to craft Virginia, while the Horse (but with an unicorn helm!) was given to promoted!Alain) and ultimately re-used it for the Cornian royals, just like the "Prince" concept art was ultimately re-used for Gilbert !

(Jerome and Magellan were borrowed from the "cavalry" sketches?)

As they say, it's fun to imagine what the game might have been like based on those sketches lol, I'm glad they shared them!
