I have spent half the day just wandering around the WoF wiki, gawking at the queen portraits from the Guide and catching little glimpses of lore (and spoilers) and generally learning a LOT

...and I have to admit that I desperately want to read more of the series now despite my earlier comments. orz

I'm at least gonna read the Legends books because I NEEEEEEED the humans' perspective so bad, you don't even KNOW

#Tyto reads WoF #also apparently I was wrong about there being a huge timeskip between arcs???#it looks like Lost Continent takes place immediately after Jade Mountain. a BUNCH of old characters show up again #(WHY did I think it was centuries/millennia later??)#so while I am still hesitant about the fairy dragons because they feel SOOOOO different and strange juxtaposed with all the Pyrrhia tribes #I guess I'll have to give it a shot. urgwh #......... anyway for real though have y'all seen these portraits of the queens #I can't stop staring at Moorhen. she's beautiful
