I always think of Machete when I hear Fish in a Birdcage. Specifically the way it's sung and the voice, I've been unintentionally attributing that voice to Machete now that I think of it.

I think I've heard the same thing from someone else before! That the song reminds them of Machete and they can easily imagine him sounding like that.

It's so fascinating hearing about people's headcanons when it comes to his voice, there's surprising amount of variation going on. It almost makes me feel hesitant to give any examples of my own.
