#obsessed with the take that sskk is one-sided. truly. like yes we all have our own takes we all see it differently #but one-sided sskk is revolutionary. #bc it is so? so? soooo? like it is there in canon. and once again we see what we want but...!! one-sided is Not grasping at straws #atsushi who sees worth in being good to the point he erases humanity when it comes to Bad #and akutagawa who first appears as downright evil #I KEEP SAYING akutagawa being introduced so early as this pinnacle of evil this wretched dog of violence. atsushi's greatest opposite #and they hate each other SO MUCH but atsushi has smtg akutagawa doesnt have AND HE DOESNT SEE IT!!!! #HE DRAGS AKUTAGAWA IN THE MUD AND REMINDS HIM BY SIMPLY EXISTING THAT HES NOT GOOD ENOIGH!! NEVER WAS!! FOR DAZAI!! #and he DOESNT SEE IT!!! DOESNT SEE HOW IT AFFECTS AKUTAGAWA!!!! and yet he does.... #it is so crazy to me like the gray shades in these two #im obsessed with it all. atsushi not even seeing akutagawa as human. wanting him gone and not treating him properly #and you know akutagawa hates him soooo bad but where he lacks growth (dazai-shaped hole in his chest) he has a piece atsushi doesnt have #and it's self-sacrifice it's. seeing beyong it all. #i will be mega pissed if his sacrifice is all 'for dazai-san' BECAUSE. that is a love-language right there #he acknowlewged atsushi and tbh atsushi did too BUT he thought it was enough. but it never is bc akutagawa relives his trauma whenever he #sees him. and with dazai always acting like hes not good enough? with atsushi refusing to fully embrace him?? #who knows maybe he died thinking he wasnt good enough. #it's so sad bc im p sure i saw a giant post by op abt how in death atsushi doesnt realise/only realises #and like so true bestie. it takes a death for atsushi to snap out of it. to consider akutagawa. to see him as an actual ally #and akutagawa doesnt have untainted hands either but look. atsushi only ever caring abt good. only ever seeing worth in good #like it is so there. he cares abt kyouka bc shes not in control and doesnt want this. lucy touches his heart by being the same #and he sees akutagawa over and over again and he doesnt reach out. bc to him akutagawa isnt human. akutagawa cannot be saved #akutagawa is a reflection of himself. a terrible one. and he just wont see it. he just wont let him live #akutagawa.... my meowmeow
