I'm watching Citadel (the American version, the first show) and yeah it's fine but why does it read so much as a fanfic????? It's actually insane I haven't heard dialogue like that since 2012????? Help, is Citadel a fanfic adaptation??????

#only watched the first two eps and a bit of the third #ex-lovers turned sour with memory loss????#the sarcasm pulled out of the ass of at least 50 enemies to lovers I have read when I was 14????#No no you don't understand it's a SPECIFIC brand of writing #you know how they made those movies/shows that were like all the rage amongst teenagers #with that brand of dialogue that wasn't natural at all it was all sassy one liners #BUT SPECIFICALLY ONE LINERS FROM THE FIRST HALF OF THE 2010 #And Stanley Tucci playing the even sassier self assured hacker #I am goinv crazy who wrote this show and what's their ao3 history like #citadel #richard madden #priyanka chopra
