THE PRINCE OF STARS | A WIP (RE)INTRODUCTION

ABOUT: 

BEN GALLO IS MISSING.

His sister Marnie has become nothing more than a ghost that lurks in the shadows as she searches the Revana Galaxy to find him. Their father’s murderer, a man by the name of Patel, named himself the captain of the Cordelia and has taken hold of the reigns that rightfully belong to the Gallo heirs. He wreaks havoc across the empire, taking countless lives and looking to put an end to those that remain loyal to the late captain. 

After receiving a lead about Ben’s disappearance, Marnie finds herself in the most dangerous city in the empire, the infamous pirate haven of Hemlix. But she’s not alone. There she meets a reckless boy from her past, a rich girl with too much time on her hands, and a boy with a liar’s tongue. With their help, she hopes to find her brother and to seek revenge by killing the man that stole everything from her, and she knows that one wrong move will send them all to their graves. 

But she figures that to die a hero is much more satisfying than to live as a coward.

CAST:

Marnie Roberts - the lost child of the Gallo family. she was left in the care of a prominent merchant family to keep her out of danger’s eye. after the late Captain Gallo’s death, Patel sets his eyes on her new family. he forces her to watch them take their last breaths and he hometown burn to the ground. now she will do anything to protect the little of what she has left, no matter the cost.

Lee Knotte - the silvertongue. he’s known to have a bit of a gambling habit and a talent for lying. he's done multiple stints in Ryktos, a prison meant to lock up the most notorious criminals in the empire, and keeps this a secret from everyone he knows. he takes a liking to Marnie after meeting her in the gambling den called the Moonlight Cellar and quickly decides that he would follow her to the ends of the galaxy.

Clover Eze - the daughter of empress’s favorite dress maker. she grew up in a life of luxury with champagne always raised to her lips. she’s tired of always following the rules and being under the watchful, hungry eyes of the elite. for as long as she can remember, she knew that she was meant for a more exciting life and she thinks Marnie is the one that can give her that. 

Prosper Brala - the rebel and Ben’s right hand. he spent months looking for any sign, any clue of where he could have possibly gone, but it’s been three years. he now spends his days pestering the Floaters, a rambunctious crew led by Hamish D’Arcy that has a hold on Hemlix, and steals a treasured book that he believes is the key to finding Ben.

Ben Gallo - the prince of stars. he’s built himself quite the reputation, his name both feared and adored by those in the empire. he has doubts that he’s capable of living up to his family’s name and isn’t even sure if this life was meant to be his. unfortunately for everyone, he vanishes before he gets a chance to find out.
